  1. we could make a story out of this. I would totally read it
  2. Oh wow! The scorpan theory would be really cool since in G1 they become friends and Spike formed a big part of scorpan's redemption arc.
  3. Maybe it was the Roc. We know at least that there's a giant Roc living near the everfree forest and by extension ponyville. They apparently eat dragons, so who's to say they don't like their eggs too. It could have gotten the egg from the dragon lands and brought it home but something happened that it caused to drop it, either that or Celestia was alerted of the dangerous Roc that made all the way to either ponyville or any other place of equestria, maybe she wasn't the one that strictly found it but a normal pony and they just took it to Canterlot and Celestia to find out what type of egg it was. Then it was reveled that it was a dragon egg and somehow found it ok to give it to inexperienced fillies to open it up as an entrance exam for the magic school???... Maybe it was a prophecy she had in a dream of doing that precisely that day because the stars will align or something and the one that crack it open will be destined to be Celestia's pupil? And the dragon would be a long term plan to unite dragons and ponies? Probably?
  4. ... well of course not, but wouldn't it be hilarious XD
  5. Do you think her character is just being a shitty pony? Then sure, she was in character telling everyone to f off. She made Yona and Ocellus cry and made fun of Ocellus with a harmful sarcastic really as***** comment. You know what I think? That maybe somehow the real rainbow got trapped by the tree of harmony and was transformed into wood and the un-loyal discorded rainbow was the one in 246 great.
  6. Idk. Maybe a certain race of shapeshifters. Aside from feeling identified with them, I like how they are so unintentionally controversial just for being themselves. They have been in mlp since season 2 finale and they were fan favorites because of the edgy design and the possibility of a new cool race but then they became Skittle bugs and everyone got mad, and they are super OP, but they are here to stay until the end and become a great part of the mlp universe. What's your favorite fruit?
  7. Yesterday I was passing by a piñata store and saw a little girl that was asking his dad a sugar skull piñata for her birthday. She was so cute hugging it and begging for them to but it but the dad downright tell her no and obligated her to choose a rainbow shaped one instead. It made me a bit sad. That's all. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
  8. it's because she's country and a boring farmer which places value on tradition and family in an RL society that values individualism and despises the traditional ways and farm labour. Don't get me wrong, I love Applejack. She was my favorite pony the first seasons because she is one of the smartest, the most "grownup" alongside Rarity, down to earth, conscientious, she's like the big sister and for a long time she was twilight's left hand and support, BUT, she started to get less and less of that and somewhere in the timeline the writers started to make her the butt of the joke with the apple thing. I feel like aside from some bits of shine here and there with the family theme they don't know how to write her and don't care for the most part because is about finding value on tradition. She's the one that sells the least in the toy aisle (also because her colors are way more dull or don't include pink on them), sometimes she doesn't even get a toy at all, and that contributes to the denigration of her character. Heck, I've even heard that they are going to significantly alter her for G5 so she's not country anymore and they are going to make her the stereotype of a "black" fashion woman to appeal to the demographic (it's rumors anyway but i can totally see that happening). She became everything that doesn't appeal to anyone: hard working, a mother-like figure, boring, overly protective, likes tools and buy old stuff, she doesn't invest on fashion or looking better, practical (which in a sense is not bad but it was completely misguided), the only funny thing that they gave her is the apple talk on top of making her less and less intelligent and useful for the main cast and the overall story by making her stay out of the conflicts as much as possible (like what happened to rainbow but at least she's still useful). she could have been the big sister everyone wishes they could have like they were pitching her at the start, but instead she started to become the complete opposite (who would like a sister that is constantly mad at you and that is overly protective to the point of being annoying, and that doesn't really explains why you should keep the family business alive and instead just expects you to get it through keep working). S2 was right on making her not learn much because she is one that can actually teach others and maybe get more into the family themes and her loss and recovery, responsibility themes, instead of force their way into the traditional themes if they dislike them that much.
  9. 1. Whenever I feel too stressed or upset I feel the need to get something new either by buying it or stealing it. (There's probably a psychological explanation there). 2. I'd like to learn more about my ancestors, the aztecs. Their culture, their philosophy and religion, their language, etc. 3. I wanted to learn sign language because I didn't wanted to talk to people. 4. I like to walk a lot. 5. I don't know how to drive. One day I run over someone and I didn't wanted to continue learning since. 6. I don't like the sun. If it's pleasantly warm it's fine but not when it's for cooking eggs on the sidewalk because I get sick. So I prefer cloudy climate. 7. I have a story/secret that I can't really share with anyone (no, I'm not a pedo, you crazy person) 8. I've met the son of one of the richest men in the world. I did a job for him and we ate together a very humble meal in the studio I was working for. He's actually very cool and very... normal, if you ignore all the court that is always with him. 9. I've never been to Disney world or Disney Land. 10. I've actually never been out the country. The one time I was I was sick and feared for my life the whole time while taking care of 7 grannies in China. I don't count it because the only thing I remember from that experience is desperation and agony. Oh wait, I wrote more. Sorry.
  10. I haven't thought about it, but maybe it would be the little mermaid, Ariel. In terms of animation is one of the best animated characters and I wished I could predict hair movements underwater as well as that. What's your favorite monster?
  11. tap water. i almost exclusively drink tap water only
  12. I don't think so. One thing is having different opinions on a subject and the other is outright being anti something, which implies they will be actively attacking or imposing their ideas on anyone that doesn't agree with them. My best friend for example, he doesn't really agree with me being agender or pretty much anything that is not cis-hetero. He has his opinions on the matter but ultimately he tolerates it and tries to be polite. I have my own opinions in the matter but ultimately also tolerate it and let him call me whatever he feels. Still I will sometimes ask him for options for a possible new name or he shares me a related new article or news (like the new non-binary dolls) because regardless if what he thinks he knows it will make me happy. If he were anti-transgender for example I would guess he would be like those that try to argue with you reasons for why you cannot be this or that, and instead send me articles on why it's a made up thing or try to convert me wherever possible. Why would I want to be with someone like that in the first place. If I discovered later in our friendship that he was like that I would either gradually leave him, or the more likely scenario, we would have had a big fight one day and tell him to f off. Regarding shows and all that, he's a star wars boy and I'm a pony dude, we aren't really interested in watching the other's series but we still do to because we are friends, and because we know it makes the other happy that we saw X video or episode or whatever (even if we sometimes don't and we know it but we don't force anything on each other and if one doesn't want to see it it's fine, we don't stop sharing), and we might like something too or have something to talk about later. If on the contrary one of us were insulting and or hateful just because one likes a certain thing I think we would both agree that that's just stupid for anyone to hate just because of that and we wouldn't like to be with someone like intolerant like that. Why would we.
  13. I'm generation Y Some have told me that I feel more like between Y and X and I would agree because I live in Mexico and we used to get things from 2 years to 8 years later than everyone else, like computers and videogames and other services, and also because I normally spend my time with people older than me.
  14. could be better. because of my job i spend so much time in the chair that my knees are all crunchy and they hurt because my muscles are week to sustain my knees, i have hemos, my stress makes my immune system to be weak so i have to be careful, my i have irritable vowel syndrome, low blood pressure, insomnia, tiredness, back pain. ok... maybe i'm not that ok. but i try to eat as healthy as i can and walk whenever i can. i'm not fat either, so, that has to count for something.
  15. that must have been quite en experience. glad you made it. i was also revived but mine was much more instant. still, it feels like it doesn't end and it suddenly hits you that this is it.
  16. ◘ This cube is made of sugar which you can drop into your face whenever you are 27.38 years old
  17. isn't it like... harder though? the majority can barely put up with one person at a time. nothing against it, i just can't imagine.
  18. a bit better. hungry. and still tired.
  19. They are but I don't think that's too strange or unexpected. Also helps visibility for other ponies to to identify them I guess
  20. I'm not afraid of death. What I fear is the process of dying. Once you're dead you won't even exist to experience anything, not even fear. But while you are dying you will experience the worst pain while your organs start to fail until they can't sustain you anymore. You can't breath, you feel like freezing, you will probably be hungry because if the treatments on the hospital, if you are luck it will be fatal and fast, if not well... It's gonna suck.
  21. as for what i know, no, there's nothing. I have experienced some serious faint spells and once i lost my breathing for some time (i don't know how much time it was but they had to revive me), and i know now what is like to be nothing for that fraction of time at least. so i know that there's nothing. but, for what i want to choose to believe is yes, yes i still want to think that maybe i will recover consciousness at some point maybe in another form, even if i know it's not true. So i would like to imagine that i will continue somewhere until the day comes and i forget myself forever.
  22. Whatever. Does anyone know how to delete a thread?
  23. Well, no. But that wasn't the purpose of that comment, was it?
