Finally finished a digital painting that I’ve been working on for three weeks. It’s an incredible accomplishment, but I probably shouldn’t share it online because it looks too much like the subject, my cousin. Next time I’ll pick a subject I can share.
For now, I'm taking a break from long projects.

Finally getting back in the drawing habit, but more because I'm using it as procrastination than because I actually have room for it. I don't have much else to report, even though I haven't made a status in a while. Life is bland.

My (poor) excuse is that it’s been a stressful week. For lots of reasons, the biggest being that I may or may not have omnicron. Yay.
I might be gone for a little while, as I have a lot of stuff to balance right now. Hopefully I’ll be back within the week.

Celebrated Christmas this morning with my family and my friend who’s been living with me for almost a year now. I hope my friend felt like a part of the family.
I’ve been busy lately, so I’m enjoying the time to read and listen to Christmas music.

…Christmas is in one week. One week, and I haven’t done my shopping yet. Haven’t even dug out the old Santa hat to wear around the place.
I suppose I’m a bit in disarray right now, but I’ll figure it out.
Anyone seen the new Spider-Man movie yet?

I think I'm done with the first draft of the story. It's about AJ and Apple Bloom talking about Diamond Tiara on Hearth's Warming.
Any title ideas? I'm drawing a blank.

Had a stomach bug over the weekend, so now I’m a bit behind, but hopefully next week I can start the Jinglemas story. Just have to come up with a plot.

Ah, Thanksgiving. Cousins arguing with their spouses, babies running around, siblings entertaining people, cats having emotional breakdowns… what a time.
Also, I joined Jinglemas, the Fimfiction-writing secret Santa. My prompt is an to write about an Apple family Hearth’s Warming. Brainstorming will commence tomorrow.

Two weeks since Halloween, and I think I'll finally let myself think about December. Mostly because it's easier than thinking about Thanksgiving. Which means coming up with Christmas and Hanukkah presents for people, in between more pressing commitments. (And walking around town in a Santa hat, but -- I'll wait longer for that.)

On Fimfiction, there's a holiday story exchange called Jinglemas. I've considered joining it for the past few years, but I'm wary of hitting writer's block and not making the deadline. Since the story would be for someone else, I want to avoid that happening at all costs. It's not something I could drop out of.
But I really think if I'm ever going to do it, this is the year. Also, I aim to write a story every year, and I haven't done one this year yet.
But what if I can't think of a plot? Or what if I can, but I forget how to write dialogue halfway through? Argh.
I keep going in circles. It's madness.

It's Halloween!
My radiator's still broken, but I'm ready to spend the whole day eating candy at my computer in a Spider-Man costume.

I think my drawing tablet is haunted.
I left it plugged in with my earbuds on top of it, and when I came back, I realized the music and fullscreen were turning off and on. It's done this before with me there, but I always assumed I was accidentally touching it.
