    I definitely prefer Unicorn Twilight as well. Although I don't mind her as an alicorn, I would have liked to see her Grow up with her friends Instead of having to move away from them. Not to mention Lauren Faust wasn't even planning to have twilight become an alicorn, It didn't fit with "her" story. It also feels like a marketing scheme to sell more toys, but that's hasbro

    Probably not. And frankly, I think hasbro is pretty loaded as is, so I don’t think they’d care about throwing their money away. And I’m sure g5 will be popular. My little pony always has been, just not so much with older men, haha.

    How do you all feel about Twilight becoming a Princess? do you feel as if the show dropped in quality when she earned her wings? would you rather have her stay as a unicorn?

    I would LOVE to have g5 be more like g3. I personally think that season 1 and 2 were the best in terms of episodes, everything kind of went down the drain when Twilight got her wings, which I feel was when they started focusing more on plot then the characters who really needed development.

    oooh, I've been hoping for a topic like this! I definitely think My Little Pony and friends is way better than My Little Pony Tales in terms of story. My Little Pony Tales is where they started becoming more girly (which I don't mind! I just prefer more story driven shows instead of braindead ones) I might be biased, however, since I grew up with MLPAF.

    I have a hunch that Twilight will return, I mean, after all that build up to her being an alicorn, we only got to see her full form at the series final. feels like a pretty big build up to waste on one episode. As for the others, I think they might be "gone". It has been thousands of years from when g4 took place, highly doubt they're still kicking, unless they all became alicorns.
