A lot of emotions. It’s 2am and apparently someone tried to break into our house so I’m dazed and more awake now. I already woke up earlier in the night to open the door as my father forgot his keys, but now this.

Oh I like the placement of the Overland Islands as it fits the characteristics of the Overlanders. The tropical climate would influence their culture, lifestyle, and even their physical characteristics, such as the tanning of the land overlanders due to working in the sun, and the paleness of water overlanders who live mostly underwater. Then the number of islands would lead to different genetic variations and ethnic traits among the land overlanders. So many different possibilities, I think that's pretty great!

For tomorrow. It's another day full of opportunities!

Two things made me happy today: feeling motivated to push for an extra mile and a half, and then later, being outside on my lawn, watching the sunset as my nephews played soccer. The cool summer breeze was perfect, and in that moment - I had a revelation.

Catching up on messages and working on the powerpoint slides for my group project.

Feeling motivated, I jogged over 6 miles, tackled some home projects, and met up with my group to kick off our next project, which is due next Monday. To top it off, some family surprised us with a visit this evening, and we caught up outside in the cool summer air. I was feeling stressed with recent news, but while watching my young nephew run around outside, I had a moment where I realized that everything was going to be okay.

I'm feeling more like myself tonight. After last night, I really needed to clear my head. I'm grateful for everyone's support and happy to hear that others are doing well or feeling better.

I'm feeling both good and anxious. I managed to do my morning cardio nearly nonstop, which was great. But now, I'm getting reflective, realizing it's finally September 1st and I'm in the last three months of school. That and I'm still figuring out work.
