  1. Your first OCs? Epic... It took me a few generations of my OC before I had a really good one in my opinion, and Doc Volt is top quality and Nightstrike... I for one wouldn't mind if you kept his a mystery like the rest of his past.
  2. Real Time Strategy Are you a Homestuck or know anyone who is?
  3. Which am I... ACTUALLY THEY'RE ALL TOO YOUNG.
  4. The only thing I've heard Xbox has going for it is the controller, and I'd be pretty damn shocked if there's no controller you can get for the PS4 that's better. I have giant hands so I prefer the Xbox controller, but everything else about the system fails to surpass PS in my eyes.
  5. It's a pretty good picture of my favorite character from Homestuck, Karkat
  6. I thought it worked well. He was a little less number 1 assistant and a little more loyal companion. I never really got why everyone was so against it...
  7. "Hopefully, whatever he does will be quiet..." Cosmo replied from under a pillow. As he put it back under his head and tried to resume sleep, Fade simply shook his head and rolled his eyes, mumbling about Cosmo's attitude when he's tired. Cosmo wasn't as cranky from exhaustion as he was from stress and grief as he kept thinking about Tiamat, his little dragon hatchling, and whether or not she was safe. He told her to stay put and for once she she listened, the one time she shouldn't have... Cosmo had been searching for her for weeks and when he got heard the radio message, he decided to find something else to help get his mind of off her but his dreams weren't willing to cooperate with that idea. Even Fade didn't realize the full effect of Tiamat's loss on Cosmo. "I'm sorry Tiamat..." He muttered mindlessly.
  8. (OOC: Acknowledged Mr Stallion with the Strategy) Cosmo headed to the bed he'd claimed and smiled as he saw Lewis, still proudly surprised by the ferocity that guy had shown. "My first student... Amazing... Ha, if Tiamat were here... " Cosmo's thoughts darkened as he thought of his baby dragon. Luna had given her to him as a gift. She was of a breed naturally resistant to magic so she couldn't be given to an academy applicant. Cosmo had lost her when the Changelings took over, and he was afraid to think whether or not she was even alive...
  9. Cosmo stood there for a moment before Fade shouted in his and Lyth's minds, "Hurry! Get him to Ponyville so Rarity can put his coat back in the right colors!!!" He wasn't trying to be funny, but the joke shook Cosmo back to his senses. "Ok... This is certainly new... Well, as long as this is the only side effect then I think we came out on top." Looking around the island, "This place is beautiful now ..."
  10. (Somepony has to keep this thing going) Cosmo scowled when the attack failed, but as disturbing as it seemed, chuckled when Darkness yelled at Aurora, "Ha! If that's bothering you, you're not gonna last long voice another voice in your head. They don't tend to be very quiet and mine was an assassin. Though they're pretty damn useful. For example, Fade can boost my power when were attuned like this. So while normally my telekinesis is strong..." Cosmo ripped one of the columns from the room, "Right now, I can beat you with this until something breaks!!!" Cosmo brought the column down on the slice, effectively hitting Darkness with a massive hammer.
  11. Cosmo placed a hoof on Crimson's shoulder. "Focus on what it can do, not what it did. It's a strange feeling to wield something you know was used for evil, but use it for good and over time, you'll only think of it as one of your skills..." To emphasize his point, Cosmo carved into the floor nearby with Blood Wind, his clan's signature spell.
  12. Cosmo looked at his student with a mixture of surprise, approval, and fear. He had a playful smile as he pretended to hide behind whiplash and whimper, "What have I created..?" Then he burst out laughing and hoof bumped Lewis, "That was excellent. Honestly, I think you've got the basics, so the last step is forming your own style. When you're in a fight, just make note of what your strikes do to your opponents and how you can fit more attacks in that opening. Once you can do that, the only thing left will be experience." Cosmo trotted back to Whiplash, "I think we'll need to head out soon so we might need to postpone that duel. Also, third death is a style of duel where you position yourself or your weapon to where in a real fight , it could be considered a killing blow, mainly the throat and chest. Each time you say Death and get a point. First to three wins, so it's not a real death match."
  13. "Oh..." Cosmo said with a disappointed look. He hadn't released Shadow Dance so when Skuldaf fired he simply propelled himself to the side. "In that case I'm good for now. Looking over at Whiplash, Cosmo asked, "What's rules do you duel by? First blood, third death, or just until somepony gets bored and or too tired?"
  14. Cosmo glanced over with a grin, "You sure it isn't a duel you're looking for? These dummies are good for learning but they're not much use in keeping up higher level skills." Cosmo shook his head, "Thanks but I can't really do much with destruction magic in my current balance... Long story but basically I've been sloppy with some parts of my training , which affects my abilities in general. If I take the time to get better at verbal persuasion, I'd be able to use Destruction magic. As for evasion... Actually what can you show me? My combat style relies on it so it can't hurt to get better."
  15. Cosmo's practice was mostly running through short combat motions so he was able to quickly finish before talking to Lewis. "I'm glad to hear it," Cosmo said, "First, there should be some combat knives in the bunker, and they're always a great starting weapon." Cosmo's horn glowed as he teleported a pair of knives from the armory. He gave one to Lewis and kept the other, "I was trained to use telekinesis to hold these but I can show you how to fight with your jaw too. Alright I'll show you some basic strikes and conjure a few practice dummies, but the fun part about combat is creating your own combat style. It's only in combat that I've come up with my best techniques. For example..." Cosmo shook his head, "I'm getting ahead of myself here, now for the training." Cosmo used Shadow Clone to create several copies of himself only they were now grey, faceless, and featureless training targets. He explained he of the slashes and stabs as he demonstrated them before conjuring a set for Lewis, "Your turn."(I set this thing up around noon and forgot to post, sorry )
  16. (Ok I thought this stuff up like yesterday) "That's not Aurora..." fade muttered in Cosmo's head as they shifted to Shadesteel, Cosmo's battle form. By combining Cosmo's Force of swordplay and telekinesis along with Fade's Subtle mind magic and persuasion, Cosmo balanced his power which gives him full access to his potential, and makes him about three times as powerful. "I'm fairly certain you're not Aurora... What's your name?" As he entered his super form, Cosmo's eyes , hooves and mane were sapphire blue and emitted a light blue mist, his coat turned midnight black, and his horn turned silver with a soft glow. He teleported to stand between Luna and the monster before him, with Altair unsheathed and floating beside him.
  17. Cosmo nodded, "I'm not saying you aren't helpful. I'm just offering to give you some training. If you're interested, I'll be outside practicing. If you decide you don't want to, no worries, combat isn't for everyone." Cosmo stepped outside and found a small clearing a few yards from the base entrance and began going through a series of drills to help maintain his balance between swordplay and magic, which had been tilting towards magic lately.
  18. (I take it Venom was your trainer?)Cosmo wasn't exactly sure how to respond. Part of him was concerned for his friend but that was only an instinct . Cosmo sensed the power entering Crimson but other than his hatred for it, it wasn't doing anything to him. It was like when Cosmo inherited his family's techniques and spells; he felt sick for having them, knowing the evil they'd been used for, but he also recognized they were simply new powers for him to use as he saw fit. Umbra's magic was used for evil, but it may not have been evil.
  19. Cosmo instinctively grabbed Altair with telekinesis when he heard Aurora say "run." Neither he not Fade said anything to each other bit Fade prepared his power to enter their Shadesteel form if it seemed necessary. "Aurora... What the bucks going on with you man..." Cosmo thought as he adjusted his stance.
  20. Cosmo considered asking David about those changelings but figured if David knew anything, it would the who's what's and whys Cosmo didn't care about. All he needed was how; How to defeat them. As he thought about combat, Cosmo thought about Lewis, and his lack of combat experience. As he started to worry about the guy, he had an idea and walked over, "Hey Lewis, you'll probably need to fight some changelings in the near future, and I wouldn't plan on taking patrols by surprise as a reliable fighting style. I'm wondering if your interested in a training session."
  21. Cosmo shrugged, and despite having left, he told Poe, "I thought you were an active menace. I'm not dismissing you as a threat. Especially after that explanation." Cosmo knew Poe was a wildcard, but he also recognized that his target is the changelings and as far as Cosmo was concerned, that made him an ally.
