I am fluent in Japanese and English, as I grew up speaking, reading, and writing both. My parents actually used to communicate to each other in German (they met in Germany, my father's from the US and my mother is from Japan), so they originally intended to raise me trilingual, but that didn't quite work out -
So, here's a scenario which I encountered the other day: I decided to study outside while waiting for a friend. I opened up my calculus 4 book, and started looking over all the complex topics which quite frankly, I still don't completely understand. Regardless, within a minute of starting my attempt at intellectualism, 'PLOP!!', a brown spot appeared on my book. I pondered what the spot could be. A leaf? Perhaps a peculiar insect? I supposed there was only one way to find out. I poked the spot. Goopy in texture. A quick sniff of my finger rendered a pungent scent. Bird feces. Since then, I've avoided studying outside at all costs. Anyone else have any experiences of this sort?

You did it with a mouse.... You continue to astound! I especially like the lighting on the tear. It is excellently done, the detail and shading is very good.

Ooo, really cool stuff you have here. Well, I'm going to do my best to critique at 2:45 in the morning. The outlines seem too thin on all three of your vectors Pinkie Pie's torso seems a little off, the curvature there could use a bit of work I think Pinkie's mane tends to have a little more volume. Perhaps make the mane a tad bigger and more expressive? Same thing applies to Fluttershy's mane. Overall REALLY cool stuff though, excellent vectors!

Oooh, thanks for the constructive criticism!! I always love this sort of thing. Sure, I'll look at some of your work! I agree with the thing about the legs, I'll keep that in mind the next time I draw a pony. I have a lot of trouble with the legs of ponies overall (I've drawn ponies a number of times that can be counted on one hand) so I will keep the legs in mind next time I do get a chance to draw. As for the lighting and shadows, I intend to do a drastically different style drawing next time that focuses a lot more on lighting and shading.

Wavy and poofy was exactly what I was hoping to achieve. I think though, I should work on 'poofing' the tail a bit Thanks for the comments about the eyes too!

This is a new kind of image viewer, oriented for artists hoping to look at reference images. I use Gimp only for my photography now as well as color correction with my 3D scenes and such XD All of my drawing is done in the excellent program Krita.

Thanks!! Yeah, I sort of want to now XD I think it would be really fun to draw a shark, a manta ray, maybe even a whale or a turtle using this style.

Continuing with my strange anglerfish doodle (http://mlpforums.com/topic/33041-anglerfish-doodle/), I doodled an octopus as suggested by DerpyMooves. I am not particularly happy with this one but I thought I might as well post it XD
