  1. I was just thinking about this. Although the show would do best to stay as it is... A spin-off, perhaps created and developed by some fans with connections to producers, animators, and the like, and not to mention a willing wallet, would be the next best thing on YouTube or television if the ponies' adventures and travels developed deeper, darker, and more dangerous overtones.
  2. There were just so, so many cute moments in this episode
  3. To me, nothing compares to listening to my music on the stereo If it's a band I love, I'll buy the album rather than download the music or listen to it on YouTube. I just think it's an overall more enjoyable experience listening to it on a CD (or, at least, on a stereo system). Do you prefer the quality of CDs, or the convenience of online availability?
  4. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." - English Proverb "A sure way to lose happiness, I found, is to want it at the expense of everything else." - Bette Davis "It isn't where you came from; it's where you're going that counts." - Ella Fitzgerald "Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are your own fears." - Rudyard Kipling But those are more of quotes than they are maxims. Here are my personal ones: -Respect everyone, including everyone's ideas, opinions, and points of view -The wise man doesn't sneeze into the wind -You're a boring person if you don't have secrets -Out of pressure come diamonds, but hey, no one ever said there's anything wrong with gold There are probably more, just can't think of any right now
  5. Just so you know for the future, Pinkie lives with the Cakes in a (rented?) room above Sugarcube Corner I often liked the prospect of Scootaloo being homeless, or an orphan, or whatever comes along those lines. I'm a sucker for compassion fics. I don't expect to see anything like that in the show, though.
  6. Ah, the episode that got me hooked! It was the first full episode I ever saw, watching it on the big-screen TV before school in the early hours of the morning, while everyone else was asleep. I thought, "...This is not a show for little girls!!" And I wanted more Twilight Sparkle, more Mane 6 and Celestia, more My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!
  7. I can't say this was one of the more memorable episodes for me. IMO, it had an interesting plot (no, not that kind of plot! ), but it didn't follow through on the storytelling part. Twilight went crazy, but not Lesson Zero crazy. All in all, though, I wouldn't object to watching it again.
  8. Season 1 was pretty cute. I sat down and, before doing anything related to the brony community, watched all the episodes that were out in broadcast order. Season 2 definitely had more of a kick to it, and took the pony antics up a notch. All in all... Naw, can't pick a favorite
  9. Ugh... Right here bro Probably for the best, though
  10. For a while now we've all known about the instability of our real-world economy. I don't quite remember how I got to thinking about it, but going off of this, there's something that stands out to me is Friendship is Magic: There are always jobs for ponies. Celestia must have gotten the system right, because unemploment is at an all-time low in Ponyville (if only the same could be said for reality... Celestia for President, anypony? With Luna as VP, perhaps?) In fact... Now this would be cool... What if there's never been a pony unable to find a job? The only exception being, ponies that don't want to work (as Granny Smith says, "lazy daisies"). Maybe, if one were to get into larger cities like Manehattan, poverty might be a little more prevalent. But I doubt anypony would be turned away if they were eagerly and readily seeking employment. Unless they proved extremely bad at the job, of course: This leads me to believe that most ponies either get jobs or start up businesses based on their cutie mark, i.e. their special talent/life's calling, and the skills that come with such a talent. Surely I can't be the only one who noticed how smoothly the job market operates in Equestria? Let me know how you think ponies get jobs, or how Princess Celestia runs things so smoothly, or how the Cakes EVER let as hyperactive a pony as Pinkie work in their shop?! (Lol just kidding Who doesn't love Pinkie Pie enough to say "No job for you!")
  11. He's big. He's hairy. He's been described as a walking carpet. (Can't you just see Rarity saying that?) I'm talking about perhaps the most badassedest sidekick ever: CHEWBACCA Or, more specifically, what would happen if our shaggy sidekick wandered into the magical land of Equestria? Would ponies panic? Would Celestia send out the Royal Guard? If Pinkie Pie found him, would she try to make him her pet? Surely he's not the first creature seen with apposable thumbs (think Diamond Dogs, Iron Will, etc.), so it couldn't be all that strange. But hopefully he had a big lunch before his wandering into pony world. He is carnivorous, after all... O__O And the rest, I leave to you and your imaginations! It'd be really interesting to know the outcomes that could arise from such a...rugged transition. Let me know how ponies react!! Translation: "Looks like moving pieces of candy to me..."
  12. Well, if they do run out of ideas, they have a reliably creative fanbase to turn to! Just, you know, skip over the things deemed NSFW...
  13. Twilight. I need somepony who can discipline me into doing my work, and who can help me with my homework. Also because she's just so cute in her geeky antics
  14. Well, if I recall correctly, in "Sweet and Elite" when the rest of the Mane 6 showed up in Canterlot to celebrate Twilight's birthday, they were all in the Royal Ballroom when Rarity made a monkey noise. Her pupils contracted at the same time... DAT MONKEY NOISE.
  15. From the gang called Bronies of the West Beat When I get trolled on, I tell 'em "Hold on, You're livin up to the standards of a moron Yo, bro, you need to get with the program 21st century waits for no man" Off with the hate, that's how I live my life For the people who claim what's wrong and right Flamers start to mumble, they wanna rumble Love n' tolerate have 'em trippin in a tumble Going off on a ponylover like that With a smile, re-designed to make 'u mad' So give it up smooth Ain't no tellin how a brony's gonna pwn you Here's a pony rap to keep you on the fly With an "up-beat" like Pinkie Pie Orbital Friendship Cannon is the tool Don't make me make you look a fool Me and you can go hoof-to-hoof, no maybe I'm watching MLP to the max, daily Yo, weekly, monthly, and yearly Until them ignorants and trolls see clearly That I'm down with candy-colored, cute ponies Boy you can't buck with me So when I'm in your neighborhood, you better know That Jackie D embraces the show Called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic You say you never heard of it? So tragic... Straight outta Mane Street ...Well that was kind of misleading -.- That's really the only rap song I like. Nope! I'm a rock n' roll brony, through and through. Classic, punk, and alternative. This is my first time doing forum...stuff, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. ¡Hasta luego!
