  1. Hm... would be very surprised if Barcelona doesn't concede. Dangeous backpasses between Valdes and the DFs.

  2. One course down, two more to go.

  3. I personally don't mind any music as long as the singer(s) (if the music contains singing) actually knows how to sing and as long as the lyric is acceptable. I suppose that counts out quite a lot of rap songs, I despise the amount of sex, violence glorification and the human-objectification those lyrics tend to contain.
  4. Barcelona <- hahahahaha.

  5. Just got trolled by a raven while driving.

Well, I try to drive out of the side-curve, then this raven lands in front of the car and just walks around while having a go at some breadcrumb while looking at me. That thing was fully aware that I wouldn't do a thing.

  6. Is there any reason to give serious consideration to any of those arguments? It is a classic ad hominem/hasty generalization statement with little difference to statements people like to give when they try to justify their racial, gender, sex, nationality prejudices. It is an underhanded argument to justify their dislike for the series/fandom and there is little reason to give any serious consideration to such because they are simply unworthy. I will end my thoughts on the matter with this question for you all: as long as you are conscious and has an ability to see, the only things you can see is what you can see and what's in front of you. It's impossible to see what other are seeing nor what they think. The life we live is a first person's point of view in its purest form. This is your world as much as mine and the other's. So how far will you let others' "stare" dictate who you are?
  7. A lot of freshmen decides to go undecided for their first couple years to figure out what they want to learn. You still have a long way to go before you graduate. If tuition is too much for your economic burden, I highly suggest you instead take some time off and enroll a community college. Atmosphere tend to be far more relaxed and usually more teacher-to-teacher interaction happens and there's more freedom to choose what kind of course you want to take. To be honest, I don't really understand the obsession people have with trying to go straight into four year colleges. Most kids have little idea about what they want to do with their life and far more often I see my colleagues bemoaning about the amount of money they've dropped into getting their education without getting anywhere in their life after they graduate.
  8. Why an I so bloody sleepy!

  9. drawing 100 ponies to get used to drawing regular ponies.

  10. Usually watches Achievement Hunter and Yogscast. For Yogscast.. I prefer to watch stuff whatever Hannah puts up and for Achievement Hunter... probably Michael and Gavin... but nothing beats Geoff's laugh. It's contagious and I swear it probably cures cancer.
  11. Couple friends of mine, one with a crippling mobility disability from a car accident when he was a kid and another person with a severe birth defect both once told me that the very thing that insults them the most is people feeling sorry for them instead of giving them a fair chance to prove themselves and treat them like just another human being.
  12. Regardless of the argument's reasoning, you are asking for such an opinion in the brony community. I think a better answer may come from someone irrelevant to the whole thing.
  13. Naivety and innocense is not a measurement for a goodness in our heart. It is the things we learn, things we think and things we decide that defines our inner nature.

  14. Samwise Gamgee, from LotR. I think Mr. Tolkien admitted that he was the real hero in the trilogy for possessing qualities of a hero. Regardless.. am I being too generic?
  15. There is a difference between criticizing a character for being tangent to the generic character trope and criticizing a character for being under-developed. Characters with a certain generic trope is useful for storytelling purpose because the audience expects them to behave in a way that they are supposed to behave. This creates an easily maneuverable environment for the story-writers. Background ponies are not expected to have a well-developed characterization unless the character has a major role in the storyline. The only reason why Celestia is the most criticized and parodied character is because of her screen-time pales in comparison to main casts yet her exertion on the overall storyline is far too influential when her characterization is still very raw.
  16. I used to live in South Dakota, very windy during night and stuff... fun place to live since there's nothing else to do but watch deers strolling about and getting into bunch of fermented fruits to knock themselves out.
  17. It's the consumer demand that gave rise to the modern superstore, and of course it works the other at the same time as well. I stopped going to Wal-Mart when I moved to Tucson. The nearest store is incredibly terrible in terms of atmosphere and it doesn't even feel clean to be even there. I've been preferring to shop in Target or Trader Joes for food and stuff lately.
  18. Lost 3 hours worth of work because the illustrator decides to crash on me when I actually forgot to save frequently. Ugh... my motivation...

  23. Bought SimCity 5, didn't bother opening it since I didn't trust EA. Waited and saw the whole debacle unfold, went back to GameStop and returned it after owning it for 3 days. Saved 65 dollars. Good decision.

  24. I don't like watermelon, not sure why I don't like it. I just do.
