  1. My friend raging over the sim city server being terrible. Good job, EA for trying out one terrible idea.

  2. I think everyone could use a scoop of orange sorbet. Vanilla flavour is overrated.

  3. 13 full pages for doing 20 question homework that's assigned every bloody week. God I hate this particular university physics class. Terrible lecturer, terribly written exams, terribly assigned homeworks, terrible textbook and reading materials. It's impossible to learn anything from this course because it covers way too much without explaining anything in detail.

  4. 8 hours on the library, come back and try to have an hour nap. Get sdisrupted because of a painful muscle spasm on the left leg. Oh well, so much for sleeping.

  5. My god, I'm really getting sick of seeing 300 hearts sitting on the social tab and can't do a single sausage about it because ever since the Valentine's update, the app keeps crashing whenever I click on any of those hearts. Too bad, I'm too far to reset everything.. ugh.
  6. Interesting comment from the Unicon, when Tara Strong was asked on whether Twilight Sparkles was going to live a 'very long time', she said yes to the question.
  7. My house is ridiculously monochromatic.

  8. Been awake for 3 days straight. 4 homework assignments done last night and I have 9 page worth of writing to finish by tomorrow. I'm only taking 3 classes, what is up with the workload?!

  9. Beer... and sleeping.. and drawing... ponies. That's all I ask.

I'm guessing your near Flagstaff or another higher elevation part of the state. Snow is very rare in Phoenix from what I've been told.

  11. 2 Homeworks done... 2 more to go.. and 1 large homework due by Friday. Yay.

  12. I love professors that give you homeworks with 20 questions with half the questions that hasn't even been discussed yet and supposed to be discussed by end of March and expects you to finish it by tomorrow.

  13. Dead Space series isn't that scary compared to some of the other games out there. This may sound like a cliche, but I will obviously name Amnesia: The Dark Descent as a case. Having nothing to fight against monster while you hear all kinds of noises around you and see horrible things that you can't do a single sausage against is way more psychologically terrifying then being able to virtually kill everything that stands in your path.
  14. Well.. I had bacterial meningitis when I was 8 years old. I'm not sure why but I lived in South Korea when that happened that they had to do a spinal tap without any kind of anesthesia. So I had to endure the entire pain of them making a hole in my back and plug-in the tube to drain the fluid. That was fun. Couple years ago, I had to do a dental stuff and since I didn't do anything like that for 8~9 years, my dental health was in pretty bad shape. (External appearance looks perfectly fine, but I had cavities in pretty much all my teeth.) For some reason how matter how many shots I took, anesthetics didn't work. So the doctor ended up drilling all of those teeth over three days while I felt the entire pain. That was fun.
  15. Ahhhhh... the game app keeps crashign everytime I try to accept a bloody heart shard... this is infuriating.

  16. Don't you love university textbook that takes 3 hours to read maybe 20 pages because that's how tedious and crammed up the stuff in the textbook is?

    1. SCS

      SCS

Practically every textbook I use nowadays is college level even though I'm still in high school. On the one hand I enjoy the depth of the material, but on the other hand the sheer length of these books can be overwhelming.

Well the topic I'm reading it theory on the stimulated emission and absorption of photons in any given atoms and how that's related to creating a lasing effect. Every page takes a ridiculously long time to read because it just contains way too much ideas and consolidated it in a very inefficient manner.

  17. Sorry to post something not realized to the preview and info, but I think the twitter quote was implying that the trailer of the final episode only showed the 1/3 of the premise.
  18. Ugh, why am I so fatigued.

Probably because I stayed up all night working in the lab... and writing 4 page essay prior to that.. need to go and get the grocery done...

  19. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the decisions the Hasbro make on the show, it is their product and we have to accept that. The unfortunate side of thing is that we tend to give more notice to outspoken criticisms filled with personal emotions and opinions than a fair criticism that contains well reasoned arguments that tries to view from different perspectives. As a person who loved read stories that requires you to think 'critically' which usually contained plenty of dark themes, perhaps there are few areas in the show that I find it disturbing. (The first book I've read voluntarily was My Sweet Orange Tree, written by a famous Latin American author which was about a kid with a tough childhood. I think I read it when I was 6 years old.) However, the way the show is the climate of the mainstream public entertainment show for the young audience. By studying the various aspects involved in the current series, I've learned a great deal of many things which I won't mention here since that would takes pages of arguments and explanations. But since I am quite interested in the children's fiction, the experience I've had with this show have been certain very interesting and enlightening. I am not entirely sure about the general idea about 'enjoying something means not taking it seriously' which popped up multiple times in this post however. As a person who values education and critical thinking, a great deal of enjoyment comes from being entertained by other people's ideas, to think critically about those ideas, and to think what I can do with those ideas. And because of that, I fail to see the negativity behind 'over-thinking' the show. There are quite a lot of masterclass literature aimed for children that contains complex ideas as well. Furthermore, the one thing I've agreed with the various discussions I've had with number of English professors was that a good children's literature must be able to evoke a response that starts and ends with a question. Therefore I find the argument that it's just a kid's story a fairly weak argument. Perhaps it's just me. Since I consider myself to be an unusual case who has a bachelor's degree in chemistry and now trying to get a degree in physics while continuing my self-taught education in Art and Writing as well. Perhaps I have a scholastic mentality. I would like to end this comment with a question however. The one thing that I've noticed from a comment made by the lead story developer on his/her(because I can't remember)'s justification behind making TS a princess was that 'every young girl wants to be a princess.' I must wonder if that's a valid argument.
  20. As the person above states, your statement feels more as if you're trying to find a scapegoat for the negativity surrounding this fandom. Here's a thing. One of the most prominent artist in this fandom is JJ. The thing is he has ton of anthropomorphized ponies in this DA gallery and his Molestia tumblr page is probably one of the most visited webpage by the bronies. Furry fandom is something you will never be able to separate from this fandom. R34 implies that if it exists, then there's a pornography stuff related for it, countless times this internet rule have proven to be true. Just accept the negativity that comes with you enjoying this show. Same kind of thing comes with playing video games as an adult, and same kind of thing comes with watching anime as well. As long as you enjoy anything that isn't 'mainstream', then there's always going to be someone who has a problem with your habit.
  21. I don't know. Making comparison between a terrible idea and a really terrible idea doesn't really mean suddenly a terrible idea is better. They both end up being terrible.

  25. That last game was interesting, Annie pushed me to go bottom and I mostly played defensively since I was up against Nat and some other gap closer, couldn't risk myself getting killed. Ended up just beating the daylight out of everyone though... along with ton of assist.
