  1. I might consider them bearable if they actually had the outfits the characters wore in the movie... And if the colours weren't so bright. They were much softer in the real thing.
  2. Happy New Year everypony~!

  3. That's a pretty big improvement. And I love your newer style, it's so cute and it really suits Pinkie Pie
  4. I think I posted here some time ago, but now that season 4's here, I'm gonna update I would say it's between Babs Seed, Hearts Strong As Horses and Bats
  5. Could you do one of Aerial Shot please~? Her cutie mark is a clapperboard and could you put it as a prop?
  6. I'd like a design for my OC Aerial Shot's dress for the Grand Galloping Gala. She's a film-maker so I'm looking for one inspired by film strips using only black and white. And a hairclip (earring?) of a clapperboard (her cutie mark) like the star one Twilight had, please~
  7. I think the Running of the Leaves is the first day of Autumn/Fall and the Summer Sun Celebration would be whatever day is the Summer Solstice/Longest Day that year
  8. I have a feeling it'll at least be relevant but not necessarily the focus of any other episode. I agree with the others who are saying it's a Chekov's Gun, but maybe it could work in a slightly different way than expected. As long as the writers can pull it off, I think it has potential. Plus, I just wanna see Flutterbat's creepily cute design again.
  9. I have a Fender Acoustic CD60. But I've only had it since October and I'm still learning. My dad has the same one, but he's only had his for a couple of weeks.
  10. I think an episode with the CMC involving the Filly Scouts would be pretty interesting. And it could go a couple of ways - it could be about them joining the group or maybe finding some way to compete against them maybe...? Or they could just help them out with finding their cutie marks...
  11. I like to think all the sub-plots (or at least most of them) will somehow connect in one way or another.
  12. Who wants to talk about Bats!? I wanna talk about Bats! Let's talk about Bats!

  13. OK. Second song of the season was awesome and reminded me of Nightmare Before Christmas songs Return of the Stare Rainbow Dash is a cider-addicted alcoholic FRUIT BAT ROUND-UP! FRUIT BAT ROUND-UP! Pinkie Pie drill FLUTTERBAT. HER DESIGN. IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND KINDA CREEPY AND I LOVE IT *deep breath* Pretty cool plot twist there. I was prepared for friends arguing, falling out, something like Fluttershy leaving Applejack to do the job herself, not wanting to be part of it but also not wanting to upset her further, but then needing to come back and save her when the bats turned vicious or something. I was not expecting a freaking bat pony to happen but it happened. Also, song. Don't forget the song.
  14. Bats! was awesome and nopony can convince me otherwise

  15. It looks like everyone here pretty much as the reason down. But just to sum it up - it can be difficult to maintain a character's voice while singing if there's a difference to your real voice (e.g. if it's too fast, high-pitched, or even has a accent) and Andrea finds it difficult to sing as Pinkie. Shannon Chan-Kent actually performed the demos for all the songs (I think), not just Pinkie Pie's, but they liked her Pinkie voice so much they had her cover for Andrea.
  16. This was a pretty big episode for character development. We got Scootaloo becoming more open and honest with herself, we saw how much Rainbow Dash has really changed since season 1, showing her Element of Harmony and how she can be serious and respectful. Plus, we learned more about Luna's powers and role as Princess of the Night.
  17. Wait, no, I WILL be on bronystate ^^' Pinkie Pie theatre

  18. I'm not sure if anyone else has said this yet, but when Twilight does her sonic whatever-boom at the end, the look on her face right before she takes off is as though she's figuring out the timing of the boom. She pulls it off right between the moon setting and the sun rising - at twilight.
  19. Actually I may not be on bronystate :/ I'll be out most of the day...

  20. *hugs Fluttershy* It's ok, don't listen to the bullies, they're just jealous of your cuteness~
  21. If anyone's gonna be on bronystate for tomorrow's episode, I'll be in the Pinkie Pie theatre~

  22. I actually kind of have an emotional tie to Babs Seed because she's a relatable character for me, in a way. She was bullied and reacted in a negative way, but wants to be able to change. I was bullied all the way through school, and now in my final year of school before I'm off to university, I still get a little bit of trouble from these two guys in my drama class. My reactions are a little different to Babs', not as physical, but there's similarities there. I hold grudges (I'm really trying to stop that...), I have trust issues and tend to keep a lot of things about myself from people, I immediately associate certain things with bullying and I can react badly if someone says the wrong thing. It was reassuring to see a character like Babs, one used to show how bullying can effect someone. I am a little disappointed that we haven't seen more of her
  23. I absolutely loved it. The animation and character designs were so beautiful to look at and, being totally in love with film and especially animation, some sequences were done so perfectly I constantly felt tears in my eyes and I felt pretty breathless sometimes. The music and songs were incredible and I just got the soundtrack for Christmas. The sequence for Let It Go always fills me with so much emotion... Just wow. And Disney kinda flipped a lot of their own archetypes and common plot points around. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm looking down on their older works, I just think it was really clever and quite a refreshing change.
  24. Thank you, I will~ ^^/ Yay, someone remembers me! Thank you~ And welcome back to you too, I guess
