Are we talking about Inderpstrial again? Because Deathstars are best Inderpstrial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0vOwlF9xdY But seriously, I love these guys, they're awesome.

I love Fen. I actually went to see them last year and they were amazing. I didn't realise they had a new album out, though. This song seems more Shoegaze-ish then their other stuff.

Ghost Stories, Folklore, Legends and the Generally Supernatural
Hansel replied to Tyroq's topic in General Discussion
"Supernatural" is a funny word. I'm not entirely sure what it means. I don't really know whether or not, say, ghosts exists. I haven't seen any myself, or any kind of evidence, so I personally do not believe in them. I just have no reason to. However, for argument's sake, I'll assume that they do exist along with every other supernatural entity. Why are they "supernatural"? If they exists, then surely they're just... natural. -
These things: These things: Along with pretty much any insect, arachnid, bug and creepy-crawly. Ironically though, I also find arachnids beautiful. I also fear death.

Purple. It's incredibly rare, but it exists. This one looks fake to me, but the internet says that it's real. The Fremen have pretty cool eyes as well... just saying...

Hey now, Metal isn't always aggressive. In fact, a lot of Metal is the complete opposite of aggressive. Anyway, I recommend MandoPony. He's done some fantastic stuff and collaborates with AcousticBrony a lot. TheLivingTombstone mostly has electronic pieces, but he's also worked on some other stuff as well.

Although I'm not big on their latest album, Eluveitie have continued to be one of my favorite Folk Metal bands, tying in with some of the more Prog and Post Metal Metal bands I like that have a lot of Folk influences. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmoe7wwm4HM This is a bit of a stretch, but Alcest take influences from some Folk genres, particularly Celtic music, and they're he's incredible.

7/10 It's not bad, but kinda find that Guile's Theme gets annoying after a while... especially if it's on a ten hour loop.
-
7.5/10 Not bad. It was a bit meh at first, but it got pretty powerful after a while.

What do you usually wear in public?
Hansel replied to Harmonic Revelations's topic in General Discussion
It kinda depends where I'm going, but it's usually an assortment of Black/red/neon blue leopard print skinny jeans, black t-shirts, black shirts, black/skeletal/stripy sweatshirts, Visual Kei styled tops, pixie hoodies, skirts, boots, platform boots, arm warmers, neon synthetic dreads, black monster fur stuff, earrings, necklaces, chockers, rings, black coats, a dark purple jacket. I also have a couple of straight jacket styled outfits and a kimono type thing. A lot of my clothes are either Lip Service, Cyberdog, or GLP/Sai Sai. I also always wear two layers of socks because screw the system. -
I enjoy cosplay a bit too much sometimes... Camera whore mode: activated. And this is what happens when the Nightmare Moon costume you were putting together falls apart 3 weeks before a con and you have to think of a plan B. Behold the bubblegum pink cringe. I regret nothing Anyway, I'll be cosplaying as Prince Zuko from Avatar in May. Should be fun. My to-cosplay list also has Mashall Lee, Colgate, Vinyl Scratch, and Octavia.

Music is a pretty big part of my life. Unless I'm reading or socialising, I'm listen to it constantly. (and even then, I still do sometimes.) I actually panic if the batteries in my Walkman die whilst I'm out. In fact, I now carry spares around with me. I kinda dabble in making music as well, both with real instruments and with DAW's. (Although I've hardly touched my instruments in three years because of uni. I dread to think how bad I've gotten.) Music is kinda interesting. In modern society, and in ancient ones as well, music seems to be the most popular form of art. These days, music appears to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest art industry, and people seem to connect with music better then with most visual forms of art. Of course, you could argue that film is a huge industry as well, but film is multi-sensory, and relies heavily on sound as well. Most people seem to connect better on an emotional level to music then, say, a painting, or an illustration. I guess I'm no exception to that. I have been touched emotionally by paintings and drawings, but not as frequently as with music. To be honest, I find it kind of frustrating. Whilst music is a big part of my life, visual art is even bigger, and still, I'm more easily moved by music. I actually spoke to my friend about it, she said, "Humans tend to connect more emotionally to music, rather then a painting. The sad truth is that with most people, drawings and paintings are a disposable art form. They're appreciated with regards to skill and what the human can achieve. They look at it once, go "wow", and then move on. However, most people are able to connect to music on a more emotional level, and listen to it repeatedly." I guess you could look at in on a smaller scale as well. Take Bronies, for example. There's quite a few skilled Brony musicians and producers who have developed a pretty descent fanbase. Illustrators, on the other hand, even the really good ones, whilst they are appreciated, they aren't as well recognised as some of the music artists. Oh, this isn't a rant or me trying to bash music or anything, just something I've picked up on.

I can run about 10 whole paces before I collapse and die. But no, seriously, I am the polar the polar opposite of athletic. However, if you look hard enough, you might actually find some meat between my skin and bones.

9/10 That was freaking awesome. The wubs were a nice touch, but I didn't think they were executed as well as they could have been.

Heh, I guess I'd be somewhere between "the analyzer" and "the artist". I don't write any fanfiction, but I was attracted to the show because of the animation and art style, I stayed for the characters, and eventually got into stories. I have a tendency to re-watch scenes multiple times if I find a piece of animation interesting, and I look at the art work a lot, but I guess that comes with my territory. xD I also draw some fan art and cosplay. Some of my friends might call me a fanatic because of how much I love the show, and because I have posters and merch. But the truth is, I love lots of cartoons and have posters and merch of those as well. (Although, perhaps not as much...) I'm also highly interested in the fandom, but I have an interest in fan culture studies anyway. I also don't really refer to myself as a "Brony". I guess I kinda fall into that catagory as well, but less so then the other two.
