Which Pony Would You Like to Be Your BF/GF

I don't really know. All the ponies are beautiful.

 

I think for girlfriend (out of the mane 6), I would choose either Rainbow Dash, Rarity or Fluttershy. All 3 are beautiful and have great personalities, however, Fluttershy is shy, so I don't know how she would react if I asked her out.

 

I would love to be friends with all of them. Their personalities are great, and all 6 are really pretty, but those 3 I would chose.

 

I don't really know. Maybe Apple Bloom (DAT ACCENT) or Sweetie Belle when they were older...

This is almost always an awkward question for me. When I think of having a girlfriend, the physical element is most certainly a consideration; not that I am holding out entirely for some bombshell to take an interest in me (though I wouldn't be averse to it), but I find it difficult to conceive the ponies as sexual creatures due to the fact they are ponies. For the sake of argument, however, I might consider the question based on two separate qualifications:

 

1) A pony as a girlfriend in the platonic sense (i.e., very close friends but not sexually interested in one another)

2) One of the ponies' personalities being transplanted into a human

 

For the first one, probably Twilight, given our corresponding academic interests and pursuits. Being close friends with Pinkie Pie is fun to imagine, though I wonder if she might accidentally get on my nerves with her tunnel vision. I don't think the partying is so much an issue, since her parties are pretty loose and don't peg people/ponies socially, but Pinkie might not get the hint if I wanted to be left alone for a short period. That could be tough. Twilight, however, would be relatively quiet and thoughtful; the big problem would be her bouts of obsessive behavior.

 

Pinkie wins if she has her wet mane, though.

 

For the second stipulation, I would likely go with Twilight once again. Her adorkable qualities are very appealing and endearing. She's also inquisitive and intellectually active, but I wonder if she might be unintentionally patronizing at times. I suppose that would be part of the whole package---not that I think my own flaws are less glaring. But dwelling on having her attention is a pleasant thought. And I would be quite pleased to know that Twilight wouldn't be playing the role of being attentive just to be nice. She is very genuine in that regard.

 

I know this wasn't asked, but the pony from the Mane Six I would probably have the most trouble with is likely to be Dash. She's extremely competitive, occasionally obnoxious, and isn't one to be terribly inquisitive. Then again, she is extremely loyal and, in her own unique way, very thoughtful of others.

For a best friend, I would say Pinkie. She likes to have fun and play games, so she would be fun to hang out with.

 

For a girlfriend, probably Twilight. Helping me with my school work, and I like her design.

But that's a tricky question. Rainbow Dash comes to mind, but could I really catch up with her? And she's all jocky, while I'm more of a geek, it makes little sense.

I then think of Rarity because of how much in common I have with her, but I think her slightly obnoxious nature (sorry Rarity :,( ) would wear me down after a while.

 

To be honest, Twilight Sparkle is the best option. We relate quite well, geeky, non-athletic, smart, and if I lived in Ponyville I know that a buckload of my time would be spent in the library anyway.

Plus, Twilight is cutest pony :3

Truthfully?

 

Big Macintosh. I have a...crush on Big Macintosh and...I kinda like to imagine holding him close...smelling his fine earthen musk with a hint of apple...hearing his deep gentle breaths. He also doesn't talk a lot, which is something I don't mind at all, there's something about his stoicness I find charming.

 

And as we saw from The Last Roundup, he's not afraid to show his emotions like sadness, if he feels any. He just seems to be...such a content and well-balanced individual, mentally at least, to the point that he's comfortable and happy with himself.

As for girlfriend, I actually like to imagine how Apple Bloom might be when grown up, and if she remains the same way as she was, well, I admit I have a crush on imagining her as being older that way, for how adorable and resourceful she can be ^ ^

It's kind of hard... If anything, I'll TRY my best to get Fluttershy since she seems to be the one that's most comfortable to be in my preferred relation with, but it's probably going to be hard getting her to be your girlfriend in the first place. Twilight Sparkle comes in next, but I bet she's a bit too oblivious to relationships or something... Applejack and RD are just too independent for me. I know I'll make good friends with them, but not as partners. Rarity might be possible, but she's just not the type of personality that I'm looking for. She's one of the more balanced in the group, so yeah.. Pinkie... IDK, I have no idea how that'll even happen.

Personally I would say either Twilight or Octavia.

 

Twilight would be because we would share a common interest in good literature and knowledge in general. Twilight is the type of pony who would'nt mind a whole night in front of the fireplace, sharing the joy of a good story and some long hours of snuggling. She is also a unicorn and her talent is magic which increases my own interest for her as a pony, she study magic and that again would be a common field of interest for us to discuss, maybe my creativity could help her create new spells and what not. She's also the pony I would find the most attractive. Purple is my favorite color, and in general I find her personality to be quite intriguing. She's, for the use of a funny word, very adorkable.

 

Octavia, here would it be on the fields of music that we would bond. Music is to me much like oxygen would be for all living animals. I cannot go an hour without having to listen to it. I have a broad taste of music and do enjoy almost all genres of it. I play an instrument myself which would probably be another shared bond with Octavia. Funny how she plays the Cello and I play a bass, it would be quite so mezmerising to play side by side with her.

-Big Mac tops the list because dammit if I don't love me some big men. I'm not sure how I feel about how quiet he is, but I don't think it would bother me too much. He'd be a good listener, I bet.

 

-On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, we have Braeburn! His chattiness might get on my nerves a bit, and I might have a little trouble keeping up, but he seems like a real sweetie. He'd be a lot of fun, I think.

 

-Flam. I'm a sucker for smooth talkers. Also because mustache.

I love Twilight's studious nature. She really enjoys knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I met studious girls in college and medical school but they were scary - they were the type that were obsessed with being head of the class and would step on anyone in their way. I loved how Twilight handled herself when presented with Trixie. She didn't jump in trying to prove herself to be the best. In the end, she just let her ability do the talking.

 

However, I also want my girl to have some style. Rarity is a girly pony with plenty of substance. She is hard-working and enjoys the finer things in life.

 

Yep, a studious stylish Twilight-Rarity would be for me... with maybe just a touch of Princess Luna thrown in - given I like goth girls. The whole Princess of the Night wearing a bat cloak thing appeals to me.

For GF, I'd have to choose Twilight. I love school, the thought of having a tardy is HORRID (though not to extreme).
