I have a couple different ones. I don't have many though.

 

Kirby is my favorite Nintendo character by far, in one of the best series. I mean, who can't love an adorable little puff ball like Kirby? :3

 

I also like Tails from Sonic, but I don't pay that much attention to him like Kirby.

 

There might be others, but I can't think of any right now. xD When it comes to Human characters I tend to not have favorites with that, I would have to think of favorite characters in the other games I play, like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy, but that would be hard.. xD

It's hard to choose, but I have a huge admiration for Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia). He's a vigilante sort of hero. He also has the added benefit (for me at least) of being an ex-knight, and I just have a soft spot for knights. He also has an awesome ninja dog who don't need no man.

 

I have lots of love for the Tales series as a whole so alot of my favorite characters come from that series. Asbel Lahnt, Hubert Oswell, SOPHIE! (Tales of Graces (F), which if your a fan of MLP you might like alot), Lloyd Irving, Genis and Raine Sage, Collete (Tales of Symphonia) Emil Castagnier (Tales of Symphonia 2) Just about everyone in Tales of Xillia.

 

In other games, well I really liked The Last of Us (Which is saying something because Post-Apocalyptia isn't really my thing) The relationship between Joel and Ellie was REALLY touching I thought. As well as Lee from The Walking Dead game. I might not like the show very much at all, but Lee for a character in a point and click adventure game is a really good character. Of course everyone likes Ghirahim from The Legend of Zelda, his twist at the end of the game really got me pumped. Sonic and Mario really got me into gaming in the first place so those characters are always in my favorites (The Mario characters in the Paper Mario series are awesome in my opinion.)

 

I could go on and on, gaming is my hobby, but I'll stop before I just start rambling. But anypony here have any love for Tales games?

The Nameless One - Planescape: Torment What a uniquely driven character. A man who seemingly cannot die but ended up in a place for the dead anyway with no memory and no clues to how he got there but a message carved into his back telling him who to find. As you play through the game you learn of many roles he's played in his life before his memory was lost. I shouldn't delve too far into it though. It's one of those games you gotta play to experience right.

 

Master Xehanort - Kingdom Hearts series This one's pretty spoilery. Needless to say he's nigh unstoppable, is very focused on his end goal and we still don't know his reasons for doing what he does. There's enough mystery to keep me going and so far hasn't lost because of a freak accident like most villains. I can't wait to see how the Xehanort Saga ends in KH3.

 

Taokaka - Blazblue series I admit this one is purely because she's hilarious and so unique. She acts very much like a cat while maintaining some level of humanity at the same time and it's fecking adorable.

 

That's certainly not all of them but I'll stop there for now. I'd be here for hours if I tried to think of all my favorite characters.

There's three games worth of Leon attention. Why does he need more?

 

Now Billy and Jake...they need more attention. Both of their stories are horribly underdeveloped.

There's several layers to her unpopularity. Part of it is because she exists in Final Fantasy XIII which is one of the least popular games in the franchise. Arguably one of the least popular RPGs of all time too and its namebrand is the only reason it stays in the spotlight.

 

Some people don't like Vanille's voice actor. They constantly go back and forth between several dialects and accents. That on top of her constant moaning in combat tends to annoy people.
