However, I distinctly remember seeing the show before my first time seeing the movie. I watched Part 2 with the commentary as well. Finished Season 1 of FIM, without commentary on dailymotion, and went back to watch the first two episodes after. I was like "eh" at first, but then I got hooked with venturing onto episode after episode to see if it got better and realized that this a thing and It's a really good thing. If I'd give a chance to MLP I decided I'd start from the beginning (not G1, though ). So, first episode I got the honor to watch was Mare in the Moon Part 1! And I totally liked it! (Started watching after season 3 ended, so I had a lot of options and was just watching cause I wanted to see how silly it was...didn't want to watch the whole thing in order. I was one of those skeptical people who thought bronies watched the show just for shock value. You know, "I watch a girl's show, look how non-conforming I am!" even if it wasn't that great. Now I really enjoy the show and especially the fandom's artistic ideas.) One of the first ones, after that one, was The Return of Harmony. After an entire year from when I first discovered anything pony related, I seen multiple clips from that episode and eventually, I decided to watch it. I really enjoyed it, but I still felt kinda odd about it all because I did not really know of the fandom much. A few days later, I found out more, watched the first few episodes, and became hooked.
