What are the effects of every-day laughter?

I tend to waste many nights away watching fandom dramas, or sometimes daydream of humorous and ridiculous thoughts and situations at almost every few seconds

 

It is said that "if you laugh constantly, you will improve your health;" on the other hand, "too much laughter can choke you".

 

Can you please explain to me the physical and psychological benefits of everyday laughter, especially for a night-to-morning owl like me?

I don´t think laughing would be unhealthy, except maybe while driving a car. (There are accidents caused by laughing drivers)

When you laugh, you usually feel good, and feeling good improves your immune-system (Thats why hot chocolate is healthy)

But if you laugh very much, your "laughing-level" would increase, meaning it would be harder for you to get laughing, you would be used to funny things, and most people don´t laugh at things they are used to.

But seriously, laughter is such an excellent stress reliever, and thus is incredibly healthy.  Stress has so many, very real, detrimental physical and mental effects.  Finding a way to laugh everyday will have untold beneficial effects on your health, and will probably make you live longer.

Well if you laugh every time at something that isn't even funny just to be polite with some, it feels pointless and fake, even to some extends for me it feels exhausting. But if it's genuine and you find something funny, it's healthy I guess.
