What would you like G5 to have

I don't see G4 ending for another couple years, it's been an incredibly successful reinvention of MLP and any further generations would most likely never be able to top it. But for a potential G5 I'd like it to be a continuation of G4 with new main characters, and more callbacks to older generations.

I'm worried if there is a G5 they'll go for a new design, like 3D and I really don't want that to happen, 2D is a dying art sometiems these days...stick with this style PLZ!

Wait, you're thinking about Generation 5? I highly doubt there'll be one.

 

Even more so, I highly doubt there'll be a fandom at that time, because it doesn't mean it's good enough to interest millions of 20 year old males.

 

 

However, yeah, I'd love to see it be -better. It'd have to have much different stuff, though. For example, I'd highly doubt the Elements of Harmony would exist.

But I want G5 to be like a continuation story of G4 It can be a whole new story but it now has a new cast characters that are connected with the old G4 storyline. Like twilight having a student, the Cake siblings visiting old granny pinkie. Etc...

Well I’m in no hurry for gen 5: I’m still loving generation 4 and don’t want it to end.

 

Perhaps a sequel like many others have said to G4:

 

Although thinking outside the box , I was thinking if G4 was officially over and if G5 was the new generation aka not the old one, maybe Hasbro could take a new direction with the franchise: and do something different, since My Little Pony isn’t just Friendship Is Magic it’s had for better or for worse 30 or so years of toys, movies, TV shows and fans to it’s name.

 

I've said this idea before on many similar posts so sorry for repeating myself but I like the idea of a live action none cartoon movie series starting with a remake of Escape From Midnight Castle, obviously with a new script with more realistic 3D CGI ponies that aren’t cartoons. And designs that aren’t based of any of the other 4 generations and not the same ones from Friendship Is Magic, and ponies designed sort of like how they redesigned the 80s Alvin and the Chipmunks for the live action movies.

 

But having said all of that, I’d rather just see more G4 and enjoy the moment of the current great show and I'm not against a G4 sequel

That picture in Nihi's post is from an actual show called Filly Fantasia! They also have a toy line and the franchise started in 2005!

@@Pinkamena-Pills, Yeah i know it looks bad, it's filly funtasia the kinda rip off of MLP (im not saying that the show is bad). Also, I kinda said that as a joke XD

I don't like G5 to be CGI tbh im not a fan of 3d models, but I am getting into the SFM style

As long as G5 has an amazing art style and storyline similar to what G4 has then I would love it. There probably should be a different theme in G5 instead of having the Elements of Harmony that G4 did. I'm not sure what this theme could be, but I think it's better to make things a bit different. Other than that, G5 can have just as much potential as G4, if not more.

I agree. I respectfully agree. It looks kind of... mot good.

I don't think I'm in a rush to get G5. G4 still has plenty of potential. I think it's a little too early for that. But if I had to say, I'd hope for a different art style, maybe hand-drawn, and take place after G4

That'll be pretty good. I'd like to see a continuation of G4 maybe with new characters of decedents of G4 characters with more action and will attract attention of both younger audience and mature ones.

I just wish G4 would never leave TBH, I think i couldn't like the show if it were changed majorly.

Looks pretty acceptable. Although, it looks like it'll be more better suited for a good video game.
