I have created a wonderful OC that I am very proud of. unfortunately, a name escapes me! Here is her bio:

 

She grew up in Cloudsdale and is obsessed with dragons. So much so that she studies them! Her cutie mark (which is also undecided and needs a design) reflects that.

i am unable to copy her design from the pony designer directly, so here is her code and a link to the creator i used:

Using your code, I downloaded your picture, so it's a lot easier for people to help etc :) and you should be able to use it on this forum by rightclicking it and picking 'copy picture-url' - or something similar.

 

I also would love to help drawing your cutiemark. How about an open book with a picture of a dragon inside? Or a closed book with a dragon on the cover. Just a couple of ideas.

Thanks for posting the picture! ive had a lot of grief with that image -_-

 

And thanks for transferring my post, I read the description of that board and it didn't seem right to post this there.

 

I am leaning towards the closed book with a dragon on the cover. is there anyway you can actually draw it for me?

 

The names still don't seem to work.

name her dovahkiin  ha sorry i had to make that pund alright for reals her name hmmm i'm terrible with names so dont scold me I would go with something like Aurora or Azula those two seem to fit her pretty well as for her cutie mark it must represent her special talent I would go with a dragons head

im braindead tonight, razzle is the only word thats coming up... :/

 

what are her parents like? are they studious folk too? they named her so understanding a little of their mindset sometimes helps me.

 

maybe shes a "black sheep" of her folk?

 

a herpetologist studies reptiles and amphibians, maybe a name with that root would be good?

 

Herpatia? (also alludes to hypatia--a great ancient lady scholar ;) )

ok, here it is:

 

 

(she is refered to as XXX)

 

 

Born and raised in Cloudsdale, XXX was never very athletic. She never seemed to be interested in school, either. Her parents constantly went off in rants about her future weather career, always arguing over weather she'd make snow flakes, as her mother does, or rainbows, like her father. She always insisted she did not want to do either, but her parents scoffed at the mere idea of their daughter not following the family legacy. Her father often even claimed she couldn't do much else, considering her less-than-extraordinary wings.

 

She remained uninterested in pretty much everything for the majority of her life as a filly, in a constant limbo of neutrality. She was fine with this.

 

One day, that all changed. Her class mates began to gain their cutie marks, much to her despair. She realized that nothing made her special. she didn't like rainbows, snowflakes, or even clouds. She couldn't go fast, she wasn't too smart, she... she had no passion. This terrorized her. Was something wrong with her? She began to lash out. she got mad. And sad. scared, and even happy. She fantasized that her cutie mark was that she had no talent. but what would that look like? Nothing. but then, how could that be her cutie mark?

 

She lashed out at a teacher in class one day. A substitute. She screamed and claimed him to be stupid. she scorned cutie marks, anyone who had them, and anyone who claimed she would. The sub nervously compared her outburst to be similar to that of a dragon. ignoring his joke, she went home.

 

Bored of her parents complaints about her behavior, she decided to sneak out. Her parents never really paid attention to her when they weren't ranting, so she figured it'd take them a few hours before they noticed she was gone. she'd be back by then. after wandering around a while, she decided to go to the library. once there, she remembered what the teacher had said. "A dragon?" she found several books about them, and within a few minutes, was completely hooked. She read book after book. after awhile, a gleam appeared in her eyes. completely forgetting her family woes, her cutie mark, she poured through so many books she'd fall asleep still reading. She began to do reports on them, drawing pictures, but she'd keep it a secret from her parents. they wouldn't be happy with her after finding out she was so obsessed with dragons. Her cutie mark remained non-existant. it wasn't until one day, when a teacher took the class on a field trip, that she got her cutie mark. after seeing a creature she'd only seen drawings of in real life, did that cutie mark appear.

 

Her parents weren't happy. outraged, they threatened to throw her out if she considered to continue her career path. She promptly left, moving closer to the dragon migrations, to Ponyville. she spends little time at home, however, as she spends most of her time studying dragons in their homelands.

How about Snowflame? Snow, as in snowflakes, the direction that her parents wanted her to take, and flame, representing dragons, the direction that she decided to take on her own.

I chose the colors to match her obsession with dragons. her body color is like ashes, while the hair is red, like fire. i darkened her hair, so the colors blended better

 

I thought of a name for her (finally!)
