I picked Mario. I like Zelda, but I've played more Mario games.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Zelda is epic, but Mario is a fun and family friendly Franchise. I'd have to go with Mario, because it's the one I play with friends at parties more often.  I'm not much of a gamer, so I guess I get

Definitely Zelda. Most Mario games are platformers, which are fun but not really my favorite. The only Mario games that can compete with Zelda in my mind are the first two Paper Mario games, and seeing as the Paper Mario series has been ruined, it's not much competition anymore.
