technology Windows 9 and a SSD upgrade from Windows 7?

I have some issues on my HDD. My current rig is doing a great job and is ahead of the PS4. Now I wanted to wait for SSD to get cheaper and larger in storage space. I am not the best at removing malware or any remnants on my PC to make a HDD to SSD migration. Anyone have any resources or expertise on Windows 9 and the possible faster boot times via a SSD?

Microsoft has slated Windows 9 for april 2015 and Windows 8.1 users are getting W9 as a free firmware update.
