Tell me what you think, Djenty. I give it a 65% melodic, 35% Djent feel. These are the first two songs off the album.

 

 

The first song sounded like a nice groove, more than anything. Now the second one, it definitely was a nice mix of Djent and Melody. Maybe closer to 50/50, but that's just my opinion. =/

Also, does Ion Dissonance have the same vocalist, or is the similarity just a coincidence? :|

The instrumentation is really good on this song. (implying every other Death song has bad playing)

I like how some of the lead is in major and all. Makes for a more... "epic" sound.

I agree with you on something? Good god, it's happened. Anyway, I've been giving nu-metal a reassessment today and found that there's more good than bad about some of it.

Well, I read that some critic said something about all their profanity, so Chris decided to "make a clean album in defiance". But still, metal bands giving a fuck about what critiques say about them? Ignoring that, Slipknot got really shitty, and relatively tame, after Subliminal Verses. Eeyup.
