HOORAY NEW BAND TO LOOK INTO.

I've been listening to it for a while now and that solo around the 17 minute mark (not sure which song I'm on lol) was pretty awesome. What genre would you say this is?

It's thrash.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

Explains why I like it. I've found that I like Thrash quite a bit but I have a hard time recognizing subgenres a lot of the time.

I've posted some material before, but not to the point of fanboy devotion (like SYL).

I can say I really and truly love the guitar and drums for this band. Those two songs had amazing riffs and solos. :D

Raronoopa approves.

Sweet. This one has probably my favourite Coroner riff.

And this one has one of the greatest solos ever done by the guys.

Special thanks to Midnightive for the sig~

I guess I just try too hard sometimes and in the end I'm the one who's left, still broken.

Brushing your hair is for people who care and someone who cares is not I, I'll jump off a bridge and then fill up your fridge,

Only because today wasn't really much of a music day.

As for black metal recommendations, the only ones I can sort of recommend would be Aura Noir, Skeletonwitch, Hell, Chthonic (HIGHLY recommened if you like traditional culture mixed with black metal) and maybe Vindicator (from the UK, not the US). Don't know much black metal.

I'd also recommend Vektor, but they're basically just Thrash Metal with Black Metal vocals...

EDIT: ToBeATree, this is a better Chthonic song.

I LOVE Vektor. They have some BM influence, I'd say. I only asked because Wolves in the Throne Room and Ulver can only entertain for so long.

You know Vektor too?! Fucking sweet! I mainly got into them because of my friends in the Evile forum, who LOVE technical metal - and Vektor's Outer Isolation album was a big hit so I checked them out and they were fantastic. You get a ton of my respect for knowing about them. :D

Your opinion on Tetrastructual Minds? You like the EP or Album version better?

Only heard the album version. It's pretty sweet.

EDIT: David DiSanto is best vocalist.
