Am I becoming too obsessed with MLP?

Today I've just bought my second Build a bear Rarity just because she has a new symbol under her hoof! Is that going too far?

Well, if MLP is your only fandom, very much like me, then you're fine

Don't worry, I went on a week vacation without wifi and noticed that I was going through pony withdraw

LOL "pony withdraw" you make it seam like a sickness (well maybe it is) why did you not just watch it TV?

As for the original question, I would not say that there is such thing a as too many ponies so you should be good. :P

No, this isn't my only fandom! I'm a Browncoat (fan of firefly) as well!

Sit back and enjoy your obsession while it lasts. Trust me, you won't always have it—and when you lose it, you'll be a sad, sad puppy. It's good to have things that you enjoy, even to the point of obsessiveness. That's what makes life worth living... hell, I'd say it's integral to sanity.

No, buying an extra of something does make you 'too' obsessed, As I have said before ... if it doesn't effect your ability to functionally survive in society (ie you spend your mortgage payment on plushies and cons) then spend away. You have to know what your limits are. The simple fact that this is weighing on your mind is a sign that you are aware that there is a line you may not want to cross. That is healthy think RPB.

Now if you said, "Help ... I'm homeless cause Ponies." Then yeah ... that would be too obsessed. ZLvAAN0.png < obsession doesn't always work out well.

Plenty of things could be taking it too far, but this is fine. You know I almost walked into a Build-a-Bear in Boston on a field trip because I wanted a stuffed Twilight, but alas, my friends (and enemies) would have found out I was a brony, and the rest of the day would've been... problematic. Getting pony plushies is not overobsessive. Trying to build a life size replica of Ponyville would be.

A life size replica of Ponyville would be an awesome. Maybe we need an MLP theme park  :squee:

That was probably one of the best responses I have read. Yeah just as this person said just enjoy it while it lasts. Know what you think is too much and go from there ;)

Not really... :P

I'm utterly depressed because I can't get the AJ Build-a-bear.. ._.

I have quite an obsession with ponies. I have figurines flooding my bookshelf.. XD

Every time I see something MLP in stores or something, I start freaking out inside a little because I wanna buy everything but I can't.

Well, considering sports fans are considered normal even when they adorn their entire house with merchandise of their favorite team, player, or driver (if they follow racing), I would have to say you're quite normal. :)

It depends on various issues.  If you're buying toys instead of food, or clothes or other things you feel you should value more then it is (to may be) a problem.

If you have no room to function in your house you're having a problem.
