So I made this thread just for people to share their favorite anime intros/outros. :3

I tend to be very strict when it comes to anime music. A lot of anime music is the Japanese equivalent of crappy pop music to me. The animations themselves are bad and the music is so bland.

 

So I tend to gravitate towards stuff that stands out or uses atypical genres for openings. Some of my favorites are:

 

Darker Than Black opening 1 and 2

When They Cry

Deadman Wonderland

Highschool of the Dead

Ah My Goddess

Toradora

Chrome Shelled Regios

Sword Art Online opening 1

Heaven's Lost Property opening 1

Black Cat

Karin

Bleach (ONLY the first one. The rest are shit)

Neo Ranga (the anime sucks but the opening is awesome)

Cardfight Vanguard

Yugioh GX

Yugioh 5Ds

Digimon Frontier (season 4)

Outlaw Star

Spider Riders

One Piece (4Kids rap version. I know, not a popular opinion.)

Intro? Probably Attack on Titans first OP:

It's so good, sie sind das essen und wie sind die jaeger!

Kill la Kill's second OP is godly too but impossible to find a good version of on Youtube(and maybe slightly NSFW? Probably?) so just go watch the show or something.

For outros, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure first outro is probably my fave atm(song's also used in the second, dunno if it's used any later than that atm tho):

Well, from what little anime I have watched, I think that the intro for Baccano! is my favourite.

 

 

 

Keep in mind that I haven't seen that much anime, therefore my opinion sucks.

I've seen the Lucky Star ones. They never really had any context for me though so even though they were different they didn't impress me.

 

There's also the endings for THE iDOLM@STER. They can be really hit and miss. They change based on which character(s) the episode focused on and the voice actor behind that character sings the song and the pictures (yes, pictures) behind the credits are done the same way. The songs can be good and they an be boring.

Sorry about that. I'd say you could still post them though since anyone who hasn't seen them might become interested in the show just by seeing them.

I'd rather have 260 minutes to watch instead of like 90. I prefer seasons over movies :< I am barely ever satisfied with finishing an Anime, it always leaves me sad when I finish one xD When I watch an anime I feel like I'm inside it, I'm moved by it :3

I tend to skip anime openings/endings, because usually they're just generic pop and all sound the same to me... Plus, if I haven't read the manga, they tend to spoil and that's not what I need to see before watching it!
