The First Annual MLP Forums Musical Creation

So, I made a blog post on this, and I thought it'd be a cool idea.

Once a year, I would like to find around 22-24 other people here interested in creating a completely original musical from scratch.

The twist: We never actually meet face-to-face.

Yes, we never meet, but we create a musical that we all, in the group, love, and can be acted out on a stage.

And yes, I can arrange to have this put in with actors, as I know an acting group that sometimes does original musicals.

This will involve:

Creating a production company

Creating music

Creating characters

Creating a story

Creating a plot

Be willing to have fun!

 

If you decide to join, please write a small paragraph explaining why you'd like to join.

 

I do not have any people involved yet, so I wanted to make a post here to see if anyone would like to join this little idea. If it works, I will try and do this each Summer.

We would need instrumental makers for the music, so that would be helpful.

A couple of things:

1. We would need you to take a look at the script and lyrics as the rest of the group writes.

2. Like it says in the description, if you could make a paragraph explaining past experience and why you would like to join, if would be most appreciated.

I make 8-bit music and I sing and voice act. I can do mean Barack Obama impression and a ton of different accents.

I've been singing for years, I have tuition, and I have a low voice so if we want a pony tones I got the bass covered, but I can hit notes from a normal pop song easily, so no worries as far as that's concerned. Anyway, my 8-bit stuff is here:

Hiya, I write scores and I've been doing stage musicals for about 8 years, I can write the instrumentals but lyrics are not my forte (I could do it if nobody else can but someone else could likely do it better). I can compose tracks, sing (I'm a tenor, I can go into a bit lower or higher but I can't really do a full bass or alto), write, act and edit audio.
