technology Apps in the cloud?

I am expanding onto an idea I have been working on, but I want public opinion before I work on it.

 

The question is:

 

Would you prefer to be able to access your apps by simply downloading them?

 

Or would you prefer to be able to access them in the cloud, or basically online without having to download them?

 

Or maybe would you prefer to be able to do both?

Here is one way I am planning to implement the feature into a future project I am working on:

 

- When connected, the apps(due to confidentiality, I am not releasing titles and such) would be available on the cloud and used on it. Then, once disconnected the app downloads automatically and the use is saved until connected once again, which then the information is uploaded to the cloud automatically and it is deleted.

Until technology advances to the point where I always have an internet connection, I'd rather have a download.

Well, the app could be downloaded when there is loss of connection.
