"What? How do you expect me to use this?" He looked at the strange black object. "A fancy mirror? Do you expect to flash down a Pegasus with it?" Atlas laughed at his own silly suggestion. "And you go calling me crazy. What's a phone anyway? Thank you" Atlas sat down on the couch like he had any other couch. Okay, that kinda felt awkward. Do these bend like this? No. Okay... Maybe just sitting. Atlas sat down like he had back in the street. his arms down supporting his upper body and his legs sprawled out awkwardly.

"How do you not know what Equestria is? It's only the biggest and most powerful land in the known world. Didn't you go to school? You know, the three pony nations, Earth Ponies, Unicorns , and Pegasi, after years of bickering moved to a new land and settled what would later be Equestria? How about Discord? Tried to forcefully take over Equestria on many occasions. Ring a bell?"

Riza arched an eyebrow when the woman responded with a definite familiarity to the name. So either this was a really good cosplayer with and insanely high budget who was doing something really strange and probably illegal. Or something else equally far fetched was going on. Part of her was more certain of the latter option.

She cleared her throat, responding to 'Cadance's' questions, "Uhm, yeah, yeah feel free to approach... My name's Riza - Riza Jaeger - I.. Sorry, the light switch is inside, so I can't really turn them off from out here, but..." She glanced back at the house briefly, before looking back to the woman and continuing, "You can come in, I suppose... I can help guide you in if it's really needed." Riza took a few more steps closer, hwr hand hovering slightly above the older woman's shoulder. Her gaze was diverted down to Valkyrie as the Shepherd left her side, moving slowly towards 'Cadance', head outstretched to try and take in the woman's unfamiliar scent.

Bowen had adopted a very unamused, neutral expression on his face at the one woman's protests - her voice carrying a decided Southern drawl. He crossed his arms as he turned back around to watch their efforts, responding to the Southerner's outcry, "Yes, that there's a street. Y'know. The thing's that're pretty much everywhere?" It was a rhetorical question.

She continued her protests, mainly about how she was supposed to walk like that. It took a lot of effort for Bowen not to apply his palm to his forehead, though he somehow managed, "Simply. You put on foot in front of the other. So easy a baby could do it."

Their efforts really weren't lending much weight to their claims, though they certainly didn't sound inebriated. Bowen sighed quietly as both of them didn't seem to know what to do with their own two legs. The officer uncrossed his arms and walked back to them and simply said, "Watch..." He pivoted on his heel and walked back to his original place, taking slow and decisive steps. When he got back to his position beneath the light post, he turned, rested one shoulder against it and gestures with one hand, "Simple. Try again."

The person lying out in the yard moved a little, so they were alive at least. Aidan wasn't sure, but he thought that they might have responded to his question, but it could easily be a trick of the ear and imagination. The photographer scratched the light stubble on his jaw, mulling over his decisions. He eventually came to one, and opened the small gate to the staircase leading down from his home's porch. He was only a few yards from the person - a woman, he could now tell - when she gingerly felt her forehead, looked startled and looked at her hand. You'd think it was just cut off before her eyes, from the shriek she gave.

The sudden noise startled Aidan, but concern soon overrode that. He covered the last few yards in a couple long - almost leaping - strides, coming to a stop just a few feet away. Aidan knelt, holding a hand slightly out to the terrified woman, "Hey... Hey, calm down.. It's alright, you're not in any danger or anything... My name'a Aidan," he was speaking in a slow, calm voice. No need to startle the poor thing any more, "Who're you?"

(I planned for Luna this post but... I might need to make a separate one today or tomorrow just for her. Sorry for the extended delay)

@, @@Windbreaker,

At least Aegis didn't seem offended when when he said his story was unbelievable, which put Shawn at ease a little. Aegis did seem a little more than eager to ask him questions. The first seemed fairly normal, but the latter two seemed a little off.. Oh well, might a well indulge the lady!

"A Brony Meetup is where Bronies-- umm," Shawn looked over to his passenger, unsure if she knew what a Brony was. "Bronies are fans of a show called 'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic', and they meet up to watch episodes and talk about them. They also talk about their love for the show in general and whatnot!"

He hoped he didn't make Aegis uneasy after saying all of that. He had managed to creep out others who were uninitiated when he explained Brony culture to them... Shawn decided to end the explanation there and move on to the next question.

"Well, this is a phone," he began, holding it up so Aegis could see. "If you want specifics, it's a Motorola Moto G. Not the best phone, but I like it!"

Shawn then placed the phone back in his pocket before answering the third question. "This place is called Portland, in Oregon…"

----

"About damned time, boy! This lady smashed her nose in!"

"Well, hello to you too, Stephanie!" Shawn muttered under his breath before stepping out of his car. He ran around to open the rear passenger door when he got a good look at woman...

The way she was dressed... Those eyes of hers… they seemed familiar, but not in a good way! Just who did Stephen find??

"Well, better get her to a doctor, then!" Shawn said, putting the best smile he could as Stephen helped the woman into the car. He felt a chill go down his when she gave him a look, and he gulped. She couldn't be… There was just no way!

"Well, aren't we gonna go now??" Stephen asked as he made his way to the other side of the car.

****

"Oh, fuckin' hell lady, just drop it already!" Stephen huffed. "If you wanna be taken seriously so badly, the least drop the nonsense! Magic doesn't exist! Alright??"

There was no way in hell that he was gonna spend any time alone with this particular woman! Thankfully, Shawn arrived when he did. He hoped the woman would just the whole overacting bit when she got in the car, but that turned out not to be the case…

Seriously, how can someone not know what a car was?? They were literally everywhere! "It's called a car. It gets us from Point A to Point B." Stephen answered. "And Point B for us is the hospital!"

"… You, too, huh?" Shawn asked his twin as he looked into the rear view mirror. Stephen nodded solemnly. "Real live one, too!" Stephen then looked to the passenger in the front seat, to see that he wasn't the only one getting a bad vibe off of Chryssie!

This lady (or what looked to be a lady) seemed to visibly be on edge with the hammy cosplayer behind him… should he say something?? No, not here! In the hospital! Where they'll be surrounded by other people, at least!

"So… what's your name??" Stephen asked, hoping to make some form of conversation, extending his hand. "I'm Stephen. Shawn's twin, as you can no doubt tell!" He added with a bit of a chuckle. "And where are you from, if you don't me asking??"

((I'll get to the hospital in my next post, I promise! Just wanted to get something up!))

@@Hypn0ticD, @@Windbreaker, "We'll just have to see when the time comes Stephen! Looks can be... deceiving. So let's just leave it at that until that time. I only request you bear with me until that time." she said "trying" at least to be kind. She knew it all... the pretenses, the excuses, the ways to appear nice. But she had to actually contain herself and use the tools she had at her disposal.

At least his twin brother was a bit kinder. She was friggin tired of not being taken seriously. It wasn't just that she was a Queen, no... it wasn't even that she was evil because she hadn't done something to these hairless apes. It was that she was disregarded entirely. Defied as a whole... she felt... insulted by this.

She looked at the other Equestrian... gee practically shaking with fear. She tapped his shoulder in a "friendly" way, she was pitying him/her for being near her. Boy it must have scared them shitless, damn these ponies were paranoid. How did they even beat her? Oh wait... power of love... Riiiiight. They couldn't even lift a hoof to defend themselves and resorted to cheap deus ex machinas. Her thoughts derailed, but she returned to the question.

"You must be the Equestrian Shawn found, i heard talks about you over the phone. I don't need to introduce myself do i? Oh you know me very well my dear... i see it in your eyes. You feel my aura and it triggers something familiar to you. Do you want to say my name? Do you even believe i am who you think i am? Perhaps yes, perhaps not... If you do i'll probably end up in the streets, even though i've done nothing to you. If you don't then i am just a helpless lady, who's name doesn't matter much. So the point is... will you aid me until i have the time to return to my rightful place? Maybe i will help you as well. I'll try not to be much of a bother. No promises." she said winking and smiling back at him. Yes... play the game Chryssie, play the ad baculum argument and they might just fall for the guilt. However that triggered in her another reaction. Was she just her name? Was her name all that she was? Her voice, her demeanor bore a hidden sad, and grim tone. The tone of determination to get through this one way or the other.

@, @,

Cicada felt slightly apprehensive, but also strangely triumphant, the best she had felt ever since waking up in this strange world and berifit of her Queen and everything which was familiar to her. The main problem which came to mind, apart from finding out where her Queen was, was Avarice. A slight chill passed over Cicada at the thought of the dragon pony. As far as she knew, Avarice was still in Equestria; however, it wasn't outside the realms of possibility that Avarice might come to this world, and then they'd all be in trouble. The geis was still on herself and her Queen, after all. Perhaps she ought to tell Terra of this and try to gain his alliegence, just in case. Anyway, first things first; proving her existance and power to this wretched human creature. Cicada took a deep breath, and shifted her shape.

It was different to the way Cicada shifted shape back home. For one thing, she did so as a human rather than as an equine. For another, it felt different; the change flowed differently. Her clothes changed with her, taking on the look of the clothes that Cat was wearing. Eventually, the change was complete. Another Cat, identical to the one sitting before her, stared into her eyes. Cicada smiled. "Do you believe me, now?"

~~~
@@Gloomfury, Clare smiled. "Thank you," she said. "And I'm a human, just like you are. The dogs belong to a lady who lives on this street. I walk them for her, and in return, she gives me money. Maybe we could exchange information while we walk. I tell you about me, and you tell me about you."
Clare was intrigued by Shamrock. The girl seemed at first confused, but she was perfectly able to cook herself an omelette, which she would not be able to manage, surely, if she was not all there! Perhaps later on, she could feature Shamrock on her blog, which she needed to update. Clare generally used her laptop to make posts, but a laptop was difficult to take out and about with her, so if she was working on her dog walking, she used her smartphone to update. It had a good camera, too, which helped. She also needed to email her parents once she'd worked out where to go to, next. Clare went to the fridge and decided to have fruit with yoghurt and save the bacon for tomorrow. A bacon sandwich needed to be eaten slowly to be fully appreciated, and there wasn't really time for that now.
@@Windbreaker, @@Astral Legend,
Fluttershy glanced down at the appendages that had replaced her hooves. The palms were red and raw after their meeting with the rough surface that was the ground, and it did sting, but thankfully the skin hadn't been broken and no blood was drawn; as used as she was to caring for injured animals, somehow the sight of blood from herself or others that weren't furry critters made her lightheaded.
"I-I'm fine..." she said, now that she was certain she hadn't sustained any serious injuries. She allowed the creature to help her up, but was very unsteady still. She had since noted that this creature - which was apparently of the same body type as whatever she had turned into - walked on two legs. Her own hind legs were shaky as she stood, and she automatically leaned some of her weight against the other so she wouldn't lose balance and take another fall.
Then Fluttershy glanced over at Spike, wondering if he had heard her call him. She hoped he did; there had been more than one occasion where she hadn't been heard due to her own quiet nature...
------------
@@Hypn0ticD, @@00Pony,
Twilight cringed mentally when the creature went on about how walking on two legs was so simple a baby could do it. It made her feel all the sillier for not being able to handle her new legs; yet all the same, she still felt her and Applejack's struggle was understandable since they had kind of suddenly obtained new bodies that they knew little about. The young princess didn't like this creature's condescending attitude towards them, but she chose to keep a level head. After all, he couldn't possibly understand their predicament, since he wasn't the one having to deal with abruptly becoming a biped.
She didn't want to keep making a fool of herself, though. When he demonstrated walking, Twilight watched. She studied each movement, how these strange hind legs flexed and stretched, how the weight was transferred from one hoof to another. It was interesting to her, to see just how bipedal creatures walked as opposed to quadrupeds; it made her wonder why she had never thought to observe Spike walking, since the young dragon was also bipedal. Probably because she never thought she'd have to learn how to walk on two legs.
'Okay, Twilight. You can do this!' she said mentally to herself in self-encouragement. She was already standing... she just had to move her legs. One at a time. Slowly. It was tricky keeping balance at first, her first few steps unsteady. But once she learned how to properly shift her weight without falling over, it was a little simpler. She still didn't feel entirely comfortable with these peculiar legs, but at least she could move and not fall.
Feeling marginally more confident, she unconsciously stood straighter, which made it all the more obvious that she was fairly tall for a female. Then Twilight glanced back at Applejack, giving her friend an encouraging look as she remarked, "Well, this isn't so impossible once you get the hang of it."
Light switch? What's that? Cadance mused to herself. This Riza pony, as kind as she was seemed decidedly odd. "I think I can walk," she mumbled, still trying to get the hang of walking on two legs. She wobbled forward, wary of the large dog. She deeply inhaled, trying to catch his scent, but unable to. She reached out her odd, gangly foreleg for him to sniff her. He seemed docile enough under Riza's firm hand, but she still felt on edge. Cadance turn back to the clearing where she had discovered her new form. She cleared her throat. "You haven't seen anypony else, have you?" She asked tentatively. She hadn't seen Shining Armor, and felt mildly panicked about that. He had been standing right next to her before she was moved to wherever this was. "And where are we, and how long until Celestia makes the sun rise?" She wanted to ask a dozen more questions and then some, but she forced herself to pause. One more quickly jumped from her mouth before she could answer. "What is that thing you're carrying?" She asked, pointing at the long dark metal thing that Riza carried hitched on her shoulder.
@, Diego rolled his eyes as he cautiously stepped into the metal box. He stumbled over his own hooves, no feet they were called, and scowled. He still wasn't getting the hang of walking on his hind legs. "No," he replied. "If I want to go someplace else back home, I just use my magic to teleport. All unicorns can do that, and I am a unicorn even tho my horn's disappeared right now."
When the elevator started, Diego gave a yelp of surprise. The motion it made felt as tho he was being seasick. He leaned against the shiny metal wall, wishing it would stop, and to distract himself, looked into the mirrored surface. Damn... he was weirder looking than he'd thought. His fur wasn't visible like it was home, but the cloth he was wearing was the colour his patched fur was; the stuff on his hind legs the indigo and the stuff on his top half the dark red. At least his mane was the same, but it was strange not having a tail any more.
@,
Aegis hadn’t heard of Portland or Oregon, but he had the suspicion that it was nowhere near Equestria. And since Equestria seemed to be some sort of fantasy to Shawn, it was likely, despite severely stretching the limits of plausibility, that he wasn’t just in another land, but another world entirely. Come to think of it, if he was simply in another land, he would still look like a pony.
Ok, Aegis. Don’t panic. Going home probably isn’t in the cards for a while, so I’ll just have to make the best of things here.’ He was a little quiet as they met up with Stephen and the scary lady, thinking over his situation ‘til he saw the pair. All in all, it really could’ve been so much worse and there was really no sense in worrying over how to get home when he didn’t have any idea how he got there in the first place. It made more sense to Aegis that he try living in this world for now, since he had nothing to go on.
His attempts to calm himself down were interrupted when the scary lady tapped him on the shoulder and started talking to him. His body was already very tense from before, his backside was probably bruised from falling on it, and the stress and panic was just draining his energy. He’d had enough of this for one night. So, Aegis mustered up enough courage to turn and face the scary lady, giving her a very unamused look. Maintaining the feminine tones that seemed to confuse everyone (He wasn’t quite ready to drop the act yet), he spoke clearly and calmly.
“Ma’am, I have no idea what your name is or why you think you’re some big shot. Here’s what I do know. You’re a creepy, obnoxious lady who is way too loud and frankly unpleasant. You’re not the only one with problems, either. As an example, I have no idea how I got here, no idea what’s going on or how anything works around here, I’m tired and hungry and in no mood to make deals with you. Sorry.”
He felt bad for what he said, since he might’ve overdone it. He looked to Stephen and shook his hand, giving him a small smile. “Name’s Aegis. Sounds strange, I know, but that’s my name. As for where I come from… well, I don’t think you’d believe me if I told you.”
(I’ll post for Alex either tomorrow or tomorrow night. Just wanted to get a response out for Aegis.)
@@Windbreaker,@@Hypn0ticD, Once the pony had been done with his rambling, she was hiding something she could tell, she was ready to answer. Throughout her lashing against her she kept a calm and collected expression, seemingly understanding.
"Are you done? Because i wish to answer each and every of your points." she said. Once there was a stop she coughed a bit and composed herself. Sure her double iris eyes, her teal mane, her dress with holes in it was eccentric, but if you got past that and the bloody nose you would see a beautiful, alluring individual.
"Listen Aegis. In a way we all are a big deal. A mother is a big deal to her children, to the fillies of the world their parents are heroes. I didn't suggest i was a big deal. I am as you a helpless individual in a foreign world, confused, angry, frustrated. This is normal... for you... and for me. We are no different right now." she calmed once again, breathed in, breathed out.
"Take a deep breath, relax... if i was in any way creepy it isn't intended to be this way, not unless the situation calls for it. As for the volume of my voice if it was louder than you could handle then i will lower it, perhaps it is because i am frustrated and angry too. I am trying in the last hour to calm myself down. As for me being unpleasant... i don't think i've done something to you... thus i don't warrant that characterization. If anything i pitied your situation out of my empathy because i am in the same situation." she crossed her hair with her fingers and relaxed in the car.
"I don't have much choice here. I have to make some alliances, request help... I hate being weak as much as the next person. But the thing is in life we sometimes don't have much choice. Fate, coincidence, or something else... things happen to us. This is one of them. I didn't want this to happen as much as anyone. So if our kind hosts would like to help i would be grateful." she wasn't going to say she was sorry no... this was the best way she was going to say it. Empathy... a double edged sword. In any case she was still angry, angry that she wasn't being taken seriously, that she would have to deal with ponies, to deal with these apes! Bah! So weak... so, so, soooo weak. She cursed herself on the inside, she had to know how to handle this situation, and she had to do it fast. If getting help from these strangers was the way then so be it.
She looked up to see Atlas was attempting--something-- before moving into another awkward position, similar to the one he adopted in the street. "That doesn't look at all comfortable… Sit like I do!"
Colette then plopped down onto the loveseat that formed an angle with the couch and found herself deadpanning again. "No. Never heard of any of it." She responded. "I was taught something else entirely!"
Curiousity got the better of Colette, and she opened her phone's browser, searched for the word, and lifted an eyebrow at the results. The first two were of a page called Equestria Daily, the second being a Wiki page to said land, and the third was a link to the Equestria Girls movie.
"So this 'Equestria' is pretty popular, I see!" Colette said, clicking on the Wiki's link. "Is this it?" She asked before reading:
"…Equestria is a kingdom co-ruled by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who watch over it through telescopes at the top of a tower at their base in Canterlot."
Colette couldn't help but snicker at this bit of information. "A kingdom ruled by princesses, huh?? What happened to the king or queen?? And telescopes? Fer'real??" Well, if it only knew that just up unti… however long it was ago that she and Twi had hooves instead of whatever the hay he was using to walk! Applejack watched as the creature showed them to walk before Twilight rose and made another, much more sucessful attempt before turning towards her.
"Okay, Twi…" Applejack said, rising to her feet once more. She held her arms out as she took her first few steps, wobbling a little, but quickly recovering. Applejack lowered her arms as she got more and more acclimated to her new gait. She straightened her back with each step as well, revealing that she was about an inch shorter than her companion.
"Okay… Ah don't suppose you can tell us where we are?" She asked as she stopped next to Twilight, looking around. She had seen many places with her friends and family, but this place, this creature before them, this body… "And fer that matter-- what in tarnation are we??"
@Pripyat Pony,
Cat smiled at the reflection of her own appearance and took another sip of her coffee. "I never said I doubted you. As for how we humans know of you, that's seems like it'd be a bit complicated to explain at the moment."
@GeneralDirection
"You really aren't from 'ere, are ye? I'm pretty sure just about everyone in the educated world has heard about dinosaurs.. I'll explain it later, I guess." They pulled up to her pub, got out of the car, and went to unlock the door. They walked in through the entryway to be greeted by a darkly stained, highly polished, oak bar, fully stocked with various kinds of liquor and beer on tap, and in front of the bar were mostly newish barstools of a similar colour. A couple of them were highly worn, but maintained, for the old crows that had frequented the public house since her grandfather owned it. Moving away from the bar, there were a few tables of a lighter stain with matching chairs. "Well, thus is et. Go ahead and grab a stool while I set up. Me sister should be here soon along with a couple employees..." Chloe then went off to the back to finish the process of opening up.
@@Gloomfury, "We do," Clare replied. "But gyms cost money, so I generally don't go to them. Altho, if I asked Mary, I'm sure she'd take us along to her gym on her card. She can bring guests and she still has guest passes left. I'll ask her tonight."
Clare went to the house to fetch the dogs. The owners worked from home, but didn't have time at the moment to walk their beloved pets as they were saving up to go on a cruise. There was a black Labrador named Bounce, a dashing Saluki named Kitty and a rough collie named Lassie. All the dogs were female and got on well together, and were well trained, so Clare had no fears about taking them all out. They did need a lot of exercise tho, so Clare planned to take them up to the park where they could run about to their heart's content. She took a firm hold of the dogs' leads, and walked down the road.
"So," she began, talking to Shamrock while keeping hold of the dogs, "Why don't you tell me about yourself and where you come from? I'm all ears."
@, @,Cicada slowly changed back into herself, and took a sip of her own coffee. "How about you try to explain," she said. "And, in return, I'll tell you how we got here."
The Changeling Commander shot a quick glance at Terra, then added, "It would be best for me to tell you. Terra knows nothing about how it happened, or why. Hopefully, if you agree to help, I'll be able to find my Queen. She's here, in this world, right now and I have to look for her. My magic feels slower at the moment, cuz I'm so exhausted, but given time I'm sure I'll be able to tap into the Hive Mind and attempt contact."
Cicada hoped with all her heart that Chrysalis was alright. She already felt strange enough in this world; the silence was telling on her. As Changeling Commander, Cicada was used to hearing the voices of the regular Changelings in her mind. While a lot of ponies would find it intrusive, Cicada was actually comforted by hearing the constant voices of the Hive. It reassured her that everything was alright. But now, there was nothing... just endless silence and it unnerved her.
@@Pripyat Pony,
 Shamrock walked next to Clare, petting the dogs once or twice. "Thank Celly. I'm a boxer and I was afraid I would lose my mind if you didn't have it here. Well, as I said I'm from a city called Detrot. It's in a place called Equestria. Detrot ain't all fancy and high class as Canterlot or Manehattan, but I can't help but love it. I've lived there all my life. I was raised in a shite-hole of an orphanage till I was six. I ran away and lived on the streets. I had to do lot of things to survive. I to steal, rob, break into places just to find someplace worm to sleep. And I'm a lass, which made it a lot harder living on the streets. Cause' most young girls who live on the street have mostly one path in life meant for them. If you know what I mean." A shiver went down her spine as her eyes went down.
"Most girls who were about my age get picked up and forced to do things... horrible things. I had a few friends who end up like that. But I was lucky enough to dodge all of that. But I end up doing jobs for Detrot's Irish mob. Most guards don't look really think kids would be part of the mob. So I lasted a pretty good while. But I was still living on the streets. On day when I was looking for something to eat in a dumpster behind a boxing gym I met my da. He took me in and fed my like he knew me all my life. Soon I started going there more often. We got pretty close. Soon he adopted me has his daughter and my life from there was nothing but great." She said with a small smile and puts a hand on her hat. "From there I got into boxing, and I got pretty damn good at it. When I won my first junior boxing bout I got my cutie mark." She looked down where it might be. She started to panic a little and kept looking till she pulled her pants down a bit and saw it on her hip. It was a pair of old stile boxing gloves. She lets out a sigh of relief when she saw it. "Sweet turnbuckles, I thought I lost it."
"I know I'm not from here! Great you can finally believe that!" She replied sarcastically as she exited the car. They entered the pub, and Rainbow took a seat while Chloe went to the back to get things ready for the day. Dash casually surveyed her surroundings; looked like your typical pub, only she noticed more of the slim boxes with the weird glass displays. Only these ones weren't lit up likes the previous ones she has seen in the car. So there's more of these humans coming, huh? I'm gonna have to deal with three more of them? As if one wasn't bad enough! Hopefully Chloe will help me out here and I won't have to explain myself all over again. Then her thoughts wandered to her friends. What's happened to them? She wondered. Are they stuck in this rotten world, too? I've got to find them...somehow. Without wings. She sighed. Her wings were her life, and now she would have to live without them. If Chloe was any indication of what these humans were like, they seemed pretty average. Was she now as mediocre as they were? Rainbow tried to reason with herself. Surely this wasn't the case. At least some of her awesomeness had to transfer to this world. She would have to figure that out later.
Her thought process was interrupted when she noticed a couple more cars pull up in front of the pub. Come on, Dash. No point in being nervous about this. After all, you've always been able to hold your own. You got this. She would often have these little 'pep talks' with herself when faced with uncertainty. She found that helped her a lot.
@@Pripyat Pony,Dennis giggled a bit. It was... entertaining of watching Diego in his human form react so... dramatically in the new situations. "I have a bad sense of humor." he thought. Once they got out he held the door for him until he was ready to exit. "Let me guess? Never again? Sorry... but it would take us hours with you getting used to your body if we got the stairs. Plus there would be a danger of injury i just didn't want. So until you get used to walking elevator it is got it?" once he was ready he opened the door to his home. A typical university student house with three rooms. One for studying the other was the kitchen, and another had his clothes and space just in case his mother cared to show up. Of course there was the bathroom but that didn't quite count as an extra room. "Make yourself comfortable. If you want you can sleep at the guest room where my mother tends to sleep. Do you want me to make you something? Or... you said you were going to sleep. When do you want me to wake you up?"
@@Pripyat Pony, @, "I think we have time Miss Cat. It would be best if you explain to us what's going on in your world that relates to ours. It's best you do it early, rather than later because we are going to attract a lot of un-necessary attention. It would also be appreciated to explain the differences between matters of courtesy and well-presentation, because as i see it now you wear clothes in public. Most of us don't need them." he drunk a bit of coffee. Dammit it was hard getting used to these hands. Then Cicada looked at him before speaking. Once she was over he found the chance and calmly spoke after taking a breath.
"Listen Miss Cicada. I don't know how or why you attacked us, but you said something before that disturbed me. If what you are about to say is in the best interests of the security of the people i will listen. I promise to try and form an un-biased opinion. Because that is what's right. And being right as i'm sure you'd agree has no limits to ponies or changelings." he was really trying to appear calm. It was imperative that he was listening to this lest he do things he regrets. He didn't know a thing about the changelings, so this was his chance. "I won't lie however... the actions of the changelings are not forming a good public opinion about them. But as i said i will try to keep an open mind, in any case i bear a great deal of curiosity about your way of life and one of my friends would kill me if i didn't ask you some questions. All of these in due time however. Please continue."
@@Miss Reaper@@Windbreaker,
Spike was huddled up against a tree with his head on his arms. He looked angry but he wasn't, he was just thinking really hard what he was going to do. There's no way he could stay in here in this strange world. They had...things he didn't understand, creatures he haven't seen before. He even got chased by one of them! Spike knew if he wasn't so kind-hearted, he would've gave those creatures what-for. Unfortunately for him, he was also one of them too. Cute, yes, but he was one of creatures that chased him and wasn't a dragon anymore. He huffed, a little fire bellowing out. For once in his young, short life, he didn't know what to do. If Twilight were here, she would say that knowledge is the key and should be trying to find out anything and everything they could about this world if they were going to survive. Of course, that was blatantly obvious to Spike but considering the start he had here...he wasn't in the mood to do so.  Though he knew that he couldn't just stay there...even though he really wanted to.
He stood up from the ground then brushed his clothes off and his stomach started growling. Great. Another problem to deal with and he acknowledged it with a roll of his eyes and looked down at his stomach. "Shut up. I'll find you something to eat. Just...let me get my bearings first." Spike said as he looked around. Walking on two legs was easy, he did it all the time. The thing that was bothering him was some of the locals. Of course he could use his fire breath if someone tried to hurt him but Spike didn't have the heart to do something like that and he wouldn't either, no matter what unless the situation called for it and Twilight told him to do so but other than that, no.
Just then as he was ready to walk away, he swore he heard someone call his name. It sounded familiar. Soft, motherly, and...shy. Spike turned around to see a girl trying to run over to him but falling flat on the ground. Spike winched in pain because he knew it must've hurt. He looked around again, knowing he shouldn't do it but he was gentledra-...err gentleman. Spike ran over to her and stopped in front of her as she got up. Getting a good look at her face, he instantly recognized who it was. It was Fluttershy! Whether she was ready or not, Spike jumped against her and hugged her tightly. "Fluttershy! I'm so glad to see you! I can't believe you're here! I was wondering how I was going to find any of you girls in this strange place!" Spike didn't let go of Fluttershy. Why? She was the only pony...umm...person he knew and he was NOT about to let her out of his sight. Not until he found the others.
@@Firehearted,
Colette heaved a deep sigh as Atlas finally sat down like a normal person. Things didn't get better as Atlas just seemed to stare at her phone, as if it were an alien device …And again Atlas went with the friggin' magic! "No! There's no magic involved! You should know what a phone is!" She said as she searched for this supposed land of magic, despite her growing perturbation.
Colette wasn't sure why she searched for this LARPer's land, but it only seemed to only add fuel to his fire. Colette facepalmed. Not the brightest of moves! "Alright, this isn't funny anymore. I give up. I have no idea who you're trying to portray, but well done!" She said, bringing her hands together in a slow clap. "You're good at remaining in character, alright?? You'll knock 'em dead at the cosplay contest or whatever, but time to call your friends and go home!"
Colette then brought up the dial screen before tossing m her phone into Atlas' lap, looking at him expectantly. Surely, he realizes he has to break character now! "Well? Go on! Call' em…"
@@Gloomfury, "Wow, that's quite an interesting life you had," Clare replied. She felt a little bit skeptical; this girl seemed totally convinced about what she was talking about and it seemed a little too pat. But then, Clare saw Shamrock pull her waistband down a little, and there... there was what looked like a tattoo, but was quite obviously part of the girl's skin. A cutie mark! Clare had tattoos so she definitely knew the difference.
@, Diego staggered out of the lift as soon as the doors opened. He leaned against the walls. "I'd rather take the stairs, I can do stairs," he insisted to Dennis. "I don't care if it takes a week, I'm not setting hoof in that weird box again." With difficulty, and leaning partly on Dennis, Diego made it to Dennis' apartment. Looking around, he saw it was similar in layout to his mother's place, tho Diego was pretty damn sure that his mother didn't have any of those strange objects he could see around! Time enough to find out what they were all for the next day. He realised that Dennis had asked him a question.
"Don't come and wake me up. I'll let you know when I'm ready to get up," Diego replied. "Believe me when I say that it wouldn't be a very good idea to do that. The last pony who unexpectantly woke me up ended up covered in taffy. I tend to unconsiously hit out with my magic when I get woken up suddenly."
@@Hypn0ticD,
Atlas eyed the phone. "Ma'am have you been near any patches of blue flowers in the past couple days? Do you have a fever?" She had to be crazy. Everything she was going on about was crazy. "If you're implying I'm playing a character I am not. I am Atlas Lightfeather. I am a Pegasus. I have a residence in Equestria. I don't know what else to tell you. Right now I think you may be delirious. Do you have a hospital in the area?" He got up and approached her cautiously. She was acting a bit aggressively in her speech. For all he knew it could transfer physically.
"Come on. Let's get you to a doctor" He began to put his arms out to help her walk toward the door.
As she kept walking with Clear she looked back over to her with a smile. "So tell me about yourself.  By the look of the your arms and your body you must know how to fight as well. You a boxer too?"
