@@Windbreaker, @,

((Sorry for the wait, but let's just move on to the hospital and avoid any more unnecessary drama!))

"Lady?" Stephen began, fighting the urge to facepalm. "Enough of this bullshit, okay?? Feel free to drop the act at any time!" Stephen said as Shawn finally arrived. At least, this lady could now get her nose looked at!

----

It turned out that this "Chryssie" was going to be hammy and obnoxious all the to the hospital, too! No sooner had Stephen introduced himself, the thespian spoke, cutting him off in an over the top manner...

Both boys sat in silence for a moment as Chrysalis gave a rather… interesting speech. "Uhmm… Stephen was only introducing himself to Aegis, but okay~!" Shawn said, glancing into the rearview mirror at the strange woman, another chill running down his spine... This woman was right about one thing! There was something familiar about her, and Shawn didn't like it. Thanks to the woman's less than subtle speech, he was sure his growing hunch as to she was was spot on, but didn't care about frightening Aegis just yet...

****

"Is that so?" Stephen asked, finally being able to speak with the other woman. "Well, it's been a crazy night so far, so why don't you humor me when we get inside?" Within moments, Shawn pulled into the hospital's entrance. Stephen exited his side of the car, and was opening the queen's door. "Alright, no hammy acting until a doctor sees you. Got it??" He said in a hushed tone as he led Chrysalis through the double doors. "Know what? Lemme do the talking!"

----

In short order, Stephen had miraculously convinced a nurse that Chrysalis was just an actress who had a bad fall whilst Shawn found a vending machine and bought Aegis a bag of chips.

"Sorry, but that'll have to do for now. I'll get you something more when we leave this place!" Shawn said as he led the Pegasus back to his brother and the queen, who were now in a mostly empty waiting room. "The doc's gonna be out here in about ten minutes," Stephen said as Shawn sat down. "In the meantime," Stephen continued, before looking around. Thankfully, it looked to be a very slow night for the hospital, as there were only half a dozen or so other people, all casting an occasional glance the queen's way.

"Alright, ladies... What' s your story?" Stephen asked as his twin sat down. "And try being subtle! There are people around!"

@@Firehearted,

If Colette wasn't regretting her decision to bring a strange, possibly drugged out man into her home before, she was was now starting to now, and deeply. Here this man was, trying to convince her he was something he clearly wasn't! Add to that, he had the gall to insinuate that she was the crazy one?! "Jesus Christ, man! FUCKING STOP!!! Do you really expect me to buy that crap?!" She shouted, backing away from him. She brought a hand to her forehead, pinching her brow. What was it going to take to get this man to snap out of it?? Couldn't he see that what he was pulling clearly wasn't funny anymore?? Wait... She looked up at Atlas again. "Alright, I'll humor you just this once, if you can prove you're a Pegasus. Fly, cast a spell, do something that'll prove you're a pony and not completely not full of it!"

Catherine nodded slightly and stood up. "Allow me a moment to compose my thoughts and send a message to a friend of mine." She walked just outside the dining room, pulled out her phone, and sent a message to Colette. You'll never believe this. A pony and a changeling from My Little Pony are here in this universe.. And in my house. The changeling's already shown me her shapeshifting ability, and might I say I look gorgeous. XP Anyway, now I have to explain how I know about them... Wish me luck. Cat then put her phone back and took a deep breath. She stepped back in and stood at the head of the table, where she had been sitting. "Let me start off by saying that I'll probably be pretty bad at explaining this, but I'll try my best. Now I am not sure just how far along Equestrian science is, but here we have a theory that, if you understand it, explains this pretty easily. This is called the Multiverse Theory. So everything that humans can observe exists in what we call the universe. As far as this theory is concerned, there are an infinite number of universes, each with a different timeline and different rules and so on. These are created whenever the possibility for diversion, like a choice, arises. Now we have a show here about ponies and changelings and princesses and et cetera. Since none of that exists in this universe, it must exist in another, so the theory states." She pulled out her phone again, opened an app, and drew a circle on the screen. "Now this circle here is this universe..." She then drew a bunch of other circles around it. "... and these are representative of all the others. Somehow, you two were able to jump from your universe to this one... And that is really all I know. I don't know how you got here, how to get back, or any of the complications that come with creating a link between two universes." Cat finally sat back down and let out a deep breath

@,@@Pripyat Pony, Terra listened as carefully as she could. It was... familiar a bit. "Then it would be more like a tree rather than a bunch of circles. Hmmm..." he continued listening. Honestly it was confusing... "This seriously sounds like the works of Discord... but he's supposed to be friendly now. I don't know... Dear maker this is very confusing. I'm not the guy for arcane studies." he sighed and drunk a bit more of his coffee... he was starting to feel the effects. "So this world has no magic right? Because as far as i can see humans don't have a magic-manipulating organ. So... the question is now... what do we do?"

@@Hypn0ticD, @@Windbreaker, "Sorry... i don't tend to say bullshit. It's your perspective that blinds you to the possibility of the un-natural. You are wearing blinkers Stephen."

She got her hands together and kept calm and smiling. Shawn addressed her, and during their way to the hospital she was told not to act "hammy". "I am not from around here... so refrain from using your fancy terms upon me..." she kept a bit quieter than usual now. She had said what she said for a reason... but now there wasn't a reason to divulge any info.

"What's your story, what's your story, what's your story..." it was getting tiring. She looked around and then turned to Stephen. "Well according to you we are just neck-deep in cosplaying enthusiasm that we can't figure reality from fake. As far as the doctors go i'm going to stick with that story, seems convenient, doesn't get me into trouble, and it makes me "acceptable" in your society. In front of others call me Miriam Delsol and i am nobility. Maybe Aegis right here can convince you and tell you what happened. Otherwise i'd like to tell you alone or with your brother if you don't mind. There are some things that can't be said in public, and your reaction to them might be over-exaggerated." she kept hinting things but she truly didn't want to divulge things right here in the hospital. She looked left and right, she constantly kept her voice low. She bent sat back at her chair waiting. She changed the subject, if Aegis didn't want to tell them who they were or what happened then she wouldn't. "There must be anatomical books here. Maybe we can convince someone to borrow something? Is there somewhere i can look for information?"

Alex Jones - Austin, Texas

“Good to hear. Just relax; You’ll find your balance.” Alex said. He was concerned about this girl, but they couldn’t stay outside forever. In fact, he was about to start moving the girl inside when the kid approached the pair. Alex’s suspicions about the two were confirmed when he hugged the girl and he found himself smiling at the cute moment. “Well, now that you two have been reunited, would you like to come inside for some tea or coffee? ‘Cause you can’t stay out here all night.”

Admittedly, he had some questions for them, but getting them off the street was the more pressing matter right now. And he’d wager a guess that they’d have questions for him, too.

(So sorry this took so long. I might’ve…forgotten about this one for a little while. Sorry.)

Aegis Dare - Portland, Oregon

@,

She had some good points, Aegis would admit that much. But it didn’t change his initial impression of her. He tried to calm down and think rationally, and the fact that he thought he might be a little harsh on her wasn’t helping matters. Then, he did that thing he always did when he had too many problems to handle. Put them all towards the back of his mind and just told himself his mantra of ‘clear water’. His stress eased a little and his thoughts started to settle. Still, he was quiet until they reached the hospital.

Aegis was walking a little easier now, but he still kept close to Shawn anyway. Just in case he fell over again. He looked around curiously as he followed Shawn, literally having nothing better to do, and inspected the bag he was given. It looked similar enough to  bags of chips from Equestria, even if the flavour described on the bag was something he hadn’t seen. Still, he ripped open the top of the packet and tried one. He grimaced at the initial taste, but tried another one anyway.

He was about to answer Stephen when the overactor jumped in again. When she mentioned that, according to Stephen, they were just hardcore ‘cosplaying’ (whatever that was), he looked down at what he was wearing. Black cargo pants that were ideal for moving around in and a loose white T-shirt. Pretty understated for ‘cosplay’ if ‘Miriam’ was any indication. “Speak for yourself, ‘Miri’. And your excuse doesn’t make you seem any less crazy or weird.” He said before turning to Stephen to answer his questions. “Ok, here goes… I come from a place called Equestria. I was a writer who stopped by at this year’s Summer’s Sun Celebration to take it easy for a while and tell a few stories. The last thing I remember is falling asleep, then waking up here in Portland.”

@@Windbreaker,@@Hypn0ticD, "True indeed Aegis. But it doesn't have to make sense so long as the public believes it. We have to keep appearances in order not to be tossed at a mental institution. You might want to keep your voice down. Oh and by the way... i don't think you are familiar with me enough to call me "Miri" but whatever you wish." she looked around, trying her best to avoid any onlookers. This hospital probably would have blood samples, or whatever related with that. She hoped that she wouldn't have to forcefully ask them to dispose any of her blood, she'd hate to be angry.

 "As i might have said before i am nobility. Due to a blackmail i was forced to go to Trottingham of Equestria. A spell occurred that caused a tear between dimensions, Aegis was probably sucked into it as i did. You might have seen something resembling that in your world before we arrived, like sudden black clouds, black sky, a disturbance in your operating systems, heavy wind maybe... Figuring from my arrival it must have dissipated as quickly as it came, and then you found us right?" maybe they would get the hint that this blackness they saw was probably not a common thing, it surely not for her. She didn't have such power... though sometimes she wished she had. It would certainly have made things much easier back in Canterlot.

12:10 AM, Saturday - Manheim, Pennsylvania, Jaeger Household - United States Eastern Coast.

"That's good..." Riza said, mostly to herself. She watched Valkyrie as she sniffed Cadance's hand, wary of the dog's actions. The hackles on her back remained slightly raised, but Val seemed to calm down a little after getting the scent of the woman. Riza had started to turn and walk back towards her house when her guest began quickly asking several questions. The teenager raised an eyebrow and turned to look at her for a second, "No... I haven't found anybody else, just you. As for where we are, we're in the United States. Manheim, PA to be exact."

One of Cadance's choices of words through Riza for a loop, those being 'Celestia raise the sun'. The young woman's eyebrow arched even higher than before, "Uh-huh.. The sun won't rise for another six or seven hours, at least. But Celestia doesn't raise it. It does that on it's own. Celestia doesn't actually exist, y'know. It's just a TV show."

Riza didn't linger on that subject, instead latching on to Cadance's next question. She reached back and placed one hand on the stock of her shotgun - almost having forgotten it was there, despite its weight - as she responded, "This is a shotgun, a weapon, meant for self or home defense, at least in my hands. Don't worry, it won't do anything unless I make it, which I won't, unless given reason..."

Arms crossed and eyebrow raised, Bowen continued to watch the two women try to stand and walk. The purple haired one, who was a bit taller at her full height than Bowen had originally assumed, seemed to get the hang of it first, making her way a little closer to him before encouraging her friend. Speaking of whom, still seemed rather dumbfounded that she was on a street. Seriously, how? They were everywhere. They had to be on something, or there was some form of memory loss involved.

Aaaaand her next sentence pretty much confirmed that. Firstly, she asked where they were, which was a pretty normal question. But then she asked what they were and.. That's not a normal question. The officer sighed, standing straight instead of leaning on the light post as he answered, "Firstly, you're in the United States. Colorado Springs, Colorado, to be exact. As for what your are?" His voice adopted an obvious air of condescension, "You're human beings."

@@Pripyat Pony,

To say that Princess Luna was displeased when things at the Summer Sun Celebration went south, would be an immense understatement. The Overseer of the Night was absolutely livid, so much so in fact, that she barely wasted any time in summoning her armor and weapon - using an ancient spell that allowed her to store them in a sort of pocket dimension - and leapt into the fray.

It was good that her subjects were not around to see her at this moment. It was common knowledge among them that she was the more direct and militant of the Royal Sisters, but it still would not sit right with her for them to see her in this state. Luna glanced at the carnage surrounding her. The foes she had slain were many, and they lay scattered and broken, strewn across the small clearing that had served as heels of battle. Despite her victory, Luna was not without injury, but she chose to ignore it. Her wounds were trivial to what was going on now.

These assailants were Changelings, which meant that Chrysalis was likely staging another attempt to overthrow the nation and turn Luna's subjects into the food source of her vile race. The Princess of the Night would not stand for it. But yet, she knew that something else was here. Or rather, someone. A dark, cloying presence that did not sit well with her.

Luna took one last glance at her battlefield, taking a moment to appreciate how her does had fallen before her blade like wheat to a scythe. She spread her wings and took to the air, hovering over the carcass ridden field for a few seconds. Luna's horn was enveloped by a brilliant, light blue sheath as she cast her spell, flames as blue as her dark coat erupting over the field and reducing her enemies to naught but ash and glass. She turned and began to fly back to the other with haste. At the beginning of the attacks, Luna had donned her armor and drawn her weapon in but a second, thanks to her spell, and cut a search through the vile creatures besetting her subjects. The Princesses actions paid off in drawing a fair number of their force after her, which proved their final mistake. Her mission now was to get back to Celestia and the others, help rally the Guard into mounting a counter offensive and to evacuate and protect the civilians.

The aforementioned objective quickly began to draw near completion, for on her return Luna spotted a Divisional Captain and a personal friend, the Sentinel, Carmus. The Pegasus soldier had proven himself time and time again to be a capable soldier and leader and often tagged along during Luna's night time sojourns into the Everfree Forest. It was of no surprise to the Alicorn to find him commanding several squads to do exactly as she planned - fend off the Changeling horde, and evacuate and protect the civilians. She swooped down, Lansing softly beside the brick red stallion as he barked orders. When she spoke, her voice was even toned and calm, despite her determined expression, "Carmus, We.. *ahem* I require you and your troops to follow me. I feel the source of these attacks is near the center of the Celebration Fields, where my Sister and the others remained." Despite having returned to the usual pony life from her one thousand year banishment several years before now, Luna still struggled to speak in the more... Modern way that ponies now did.

Carmus instantly saluted her, giving his trademark, charming grin as he responded, "Aye, Ma'am! Just let us wrap things up with these bugs, and we'll be right behind you!" He glanced at the combat, "Say, you wouldn't mind helping us expedite this process, would you?"

Luna's response was to give a small, tight lipped smile with the words, "My pleasure." The skirmish did not last much longer afterwards.

--

Now with a force behind her, smaller than the one she had picked up initially, having sent some squads off as escorts or to aid other commanders in their efforts, Luna finally arrived at her destination. The sight that greeted her filled the Princess of the Night with dread, which was quickly replaced with a wrathful fury. The Princesses Twilight and Cadance, alongside many of the former Element Bearers and even many civilians, were all caught in some form of spell, which when it dissipated, left no trace of them. She needed but to only see the spell to know that it was an ancient, dark Magic. And the presence behind it reinforced her earlier fears. Fears that were soon confirmed when she laid eyes upon her. Avarice. The vile abomination who nearly overthrew the Royal Sisters so many yeRs ago. The cur was fleeing, possibly in an attempt to draw one of the aforementioned sisters after her, and given their history, Avarice likely knew which one would give chase. Luna let forth an angry, feral growl. She was displeased with how predictable her course of action would be to the dragon pony, but she could not deny every fiber of her being crying out to give chase.

Princess Luna did not take her eyes away from the direction Avarice had flown off in as she spoke to Carmus, "Captain, take your soldiers and do as I ordered earlier. Protect my subjects and beat these vile creatures back to the holes they climbed from!" Here, she looked to him, the fire in her eyes enough to make even the oldest of dragons envious, "And if need be, burn every last one of them inside their holes if you must... I have business to attend to with that witch."

Carmus only saluted, his grin foregone in place of a grim half frown. He barked orders to his troops and took off to do his Princesses bidding. Luna took a deep breath and rocketed forth after Avarice, her horn glowing brightly as she flew fast than she ever had in recent years. As she went, the light quickly snaked from just her horn to cover her body, her armor and sword disappearing into it and instead being replaced by an older, but more formidable set accompanied instead by a scythe, the same armor she'd worn the first time she bested her old adversary. Of course, to the normal observing eye, she would have just looked like a bright blue comet streaking through the sky. Luna was determined not to let Avarice have another chance at causing terror. There would be no sealing her this time around. This time, Luna fully meant to end it once, and for all.

@@Gloomfury, Clare grinned. "Not quite," she replied. "My thing is karate and judo. I have a black belt in both, which means that if needed, I can defend myself. Which is good, considering the fact that I'm currently travelling all over America. I was born and brought up in England, but I always wanted to live my dreams and travel. Which is what I'm doing now. I have a blog I keep up which helps to pay my way, my parents put money in my account and I do odd jobs like dog walking."

Soon, the park came into view. As soon as they were inside the park, Clare let the dogs off their leads and sat down on a bench, patting it to invite Shamrock to sit down next to her. She took out her phone. "Would you mind awfully if I took a photo of you and put you in my blog?" she asked. "I like to record the people I meet during my travels. I could take a selfie of the pair of us, then upload it."

~~~
@, @, "Interesting theory," Cicada replied, eventually. "But it makes sense. As to how we got here, I think I can explain that. You see, my race the Changelings has a covenent with a dragon pony, name of Avarice who fought the Princesses of Equestria thousands of years ago. She returned to force our helping her with her plans. My Queen, of course, refused. But Avarice has a geis on us, which she invoked. The pain it caused... you can't imagine it, but try. Not only your own pain, but hearing the voices of hundreds of your fellow Changelings suffering intense agony, sobbing in fear and pain... it was too much to bear. So we had no choice but to help Avarice. She has immense power, and part of her power is creating rips in the fabric of time. Thru one of these rips, my Queen and I fell. I have to find her, but I don't know where she is, and I haven't enough energy to try to make contact."
Cicada knew, but didn't want to say, that she needed to feed on emotion in order to be able to faciliate the Hive Mind and contact her Queen. Of course, it would be helped by both her necklace and also her sister link with Chrysalis, but the chances were not as good without feeding on positive emotion. Perhaps she could go out and find one of these humans on which to feed, as she didn't want to feed on the one who was helping them, or the stallion, Terra. She might need their help in the days to come. The pain of separation from her Queen and sister Chrysalis tore once again at Cicada's heart, but she had to be strong, for both of their sakes.
Diego stumbled to the bed in the spare room and sat down. "Maybe if I go to sleep," he muttered. "I might wake up and find that this is all a dream and I'm actually still slumped over the bar."
@@00Pony, Avarice laughed as she flew, looking down on the devastation caused by herself and her reluctant allies. She heard powerful wingbeats behind her and, glancing over her shoulder past one of her own wings, saw a blue streak coming closer. Of course, Luna would come after her. It was inevitable. Still, the battle would be entertaining, and she would choose where it was to be joined. Avarice beat her own dragon wings harder and she accelerated towards one of the mountains. Dragons resided there, but they would not interfere, recognising Avarice as kin to them. Perhaps one might even burn Luna up; now, wouldn't that be funny?
The dragon pony alighted on the mountain, on a rocky ledge which ran right round. Swags of mist hung like cobwebs. She folded up her wings and waited for her enemy to approach. This was what she had missed during the centuries that she had been imprisoned. The sheer joy of causing mischief, of causing death, destruction, ruin and chaos. Oh the euphoria, which could never be replicated in any other way! Watching ponies sucked in thru the tears she had made in the space time continuum, even that Changeling Queen and her second! Would they be able to return? Avarice didn't know, or care. Revelling in the trouble she had caused, even in the short time she had been back in Equestria, Avarice gleefully awaited Luna.
Once she was sure she was steady again (or at least, as steady as she was going to be while still getting used to these odd hind legs), she hugged the boy in return, a soft smile appearing on her face.
"Oh, Spike, it's good to see you, too," she said happily. Then she tried to nuzzle him, like she would were she in her normal pony body. But, the action just felt downright weird. Her muzzle was... much smaller than she thought, it seemed.  This was going to take more getting used to than she thought...
Her turquoise gaze turned to the other creature when he spoke again. She paused a moment, deliberating on whether to accept his invitation. She didn't know what he was, let alone who he was. But at the same time, he seemed nice, and she didn't have anywhere else to go, honestly. Although she still didn't know how far from home she was, she had the feeling it was a long way. Human being... So that's what they were. At least she knew that now. But still, she wondered about these 'United States' and this 'Colorado' place they were supposedly in. Was it perhaps some unknown land that hadn't yet been discovered by ponies? Clearly, an entirely different sentient race made their home here, and they seemed civilized. And perhaps the spell that had teleported them here simply reformed their bodies to match that of the native species, so that they would blend in. Why, she couldn't say, but she felt she was at least beginning to piece together some pieces of the puzzle.
She needed more information, though. Perhaps she'd be able to figure out where this place is in relation to Ponyville or some other place she knew so that she could figure the distance. "I can't say I've ever heard of Colorado, or the United States, sir. Could you perhaps tell us how far that might be from Ponyville?"
"That's my cutie mark, yeah," he replied, once he was able to. "All ponies have them on their flanks back home. You generally get yours back when you're a colt or filly. I got mine the first time I was expelled from school... it's kind of a funny story, actually. It was in magic class, and I was totally flunking that class. Couldn't do anything right. Anyway, the teacher yelled at me cuz I couldn't lift a stupid flower pot off the ground, and I just totally lost it. Next minute, the teacher was floating in the air, and her mane and tail were full of chocolate sauce. Made no sense at all, which was how I found out that my talent was for chaos magic. At that point, my cutie mark appeared on my flanks, and everypony in the class was horrified, cuz they all associate chaos magic with Discord. You know who Discord is, right?
"And coffee would be best when I get up. I like mine tongue numbingly strong, with milk and lots of sugar. Dunno about food... do you have real food here? I normally have a fry up when I get up after a drinking sesh; that's fried potatoes, bread, mushrooms and tomatoes. You got these here, right?"
Well, that bag I have is pink leopard print, and I got it specially made for me, and no way was he getting it, so I got him in a headlock and threw him.  Shamrock was smiling when Clare took the selfie. "One time; about three pricks fallowed me into an alley when I was heading home from the pub. They thought since I was an mare I would be easy to take on. They were wrong. I broke one of their noses in four places, gave another a broken eye socket and gave the other a concussion. I was going to leave them there. But out of the kindness of my heart I took them to the hospital." She said with a chuckle, moving slightly closer.  "And even though you cane toss a bloke like a sack of potatoes you're still a bit of a girly girl." She said with a smile while looking at her. "I kinda like that." Then she gently ran her new fingers though Clare's hair. "And you must really like pink."
@@00Pony,
Cadance shook her head in confusion. Clearly this child lived in a make believe world. The sun rising on its own? That was silly. Plus all those imaginary words: shotgun, TV show, United States. What exactly was a PA? She wanted to ask how far she was from Ponyville, but clearly, this oddly shaped pony was not the one to ask. She was slowly getting over the shock of her landing, and started to realize that she ached. Although it was the middle of the day for her ordinarily, she was tired. She suppressed a yawn. "I know it's a lot to ask, but it's been a trying day. Do you have somewhere I could sleep? If you prefer, you can leave your canine companion with me. Or of course you can watch me yourself, if you prefer." She felt odd saying that. Who didn't trust the princess of love? It was a relief however, that Riza didn't seem to be using any titles on her, such as your highness. That often got old. As she mused, she felt a bit faint. Without a warning, she collapsed to the ground. Her mind seemed extremely fuzzy. She also felt a bit silly, for having fallen to the ground. She blushed a bit. "Sorry," she said sheepishly, with a goofy grin. She got back to her feet slowly.
After Chloe got the lights and the A/C on, she came back out to see her sister and employees walking in. Her sister looked to Rainbow for a second, then to her sister. She walked close and quietly said, "She's here a bit early to be a patron. She with you?" "Aye, she is. She's a bit lost right now," she responded. "Tourist?"
"Not quite. 'T's a bit hard to explain."
"..."
"So I'm not gonna explain it right now. But I might have to leave a bit early today. I've got to figure out where she's from and she seems like the ADHD type so I'm not sure how keen she'll be on waiting all day."
"But what about the bar?"
"Just get someone else to handle it. And you can't tell mam or dad. Got it?"
Chloe's sister nodded and got to work, while Chloe went back to the back to tell the others.
A minute or so later, an old man stepped in the bar and left his coat at the door. Leaning on his cane, he walked over to where Rainbow was sitting and stood there for the briefest of moments before speaking. "'Scuse me lass, but you're in me seat."
@, @@Windbreaker,
Stephen found himself sighing yet again… the sooner they got to the hospital, the better!
----
"Hammy means you're over acting, so dial it down!" Stephen said in response, his voice hushed before he reached the reception desk. He did his best to spin a tale about the queen, telling the nurse on duty that 'Chryssie' was in a dress rehearsal when she took a nasty spill... the story was weak and chock full of holes, but the nurse seemed not to notice nor care-- not that he was complaining!
Stephen then set about the surprisingly easy task of finding a seat whilst they waited for the next available doctor; Shawn and Aegis arriving shortly afterward.
****
Shawn raised an eyebrow as Chrysalis created an alias for herself on the spot, calling herself 'nobility.' "Whatever does it for ya, 'Miri!'" He said. "And Aegis is well within his right to call you that, Queenie, 'cause you're a LOOONG way from home!"
Stephen looked to Shawn, eyebrows raised. How did he…?? "Look at 'er! The way she looks, the way she speaks… How can I not know??" He answered in a hushed tone. "I'm a Brony, remember??" Shawn then turned his attention back to Chrysalis. "If you are who I'm certain you are, then know a bit of your story, so don't try anything!" He said pointedly. He then glanced at Aegis again, looking over what she was wearing... for all he knew, cargo pants and a T-shirt didn't stick out… "Miriam", on the other hand… "You're the only one here who looks she's out to win the cosplay contest, but whatever! Stick with whatever story Stevie cooked up, and don't feed offa anyone! They have enough reason to be here!"
Shawn sighed,running a hand down.his face. "And yes, I think I can find a few places online for anatomy--just as soon as Doctor Godot shows up!"
----
The twins listened to the Equestrians as Aegis relayed his story to Stephen. "Summer Sun Celebration?? What the hell--" He asked, only to be cut off by Shawn. "It's a bit of a story. I'll tell you when we get home!"
They then listened to Chrysalis' take, both smirking a little. Likely story, but neither could disprove her…
"Excuse me, but are you Chryssie?" A woman in scrubs asked, having come up from behind the group. "Yeah, that's her!" Stephen responded before 'Miri' could correct her, rising to his feet. "The doctor will see you now. Follow me!"
Ooc: Posting for @, as he can't post right now.
Oh this was gonna be weiiiiiiiiiiiiiird. But it wasn't the time for him to tell him all about his world, how they knew about his, he had to prepare himself for how Diego would take it.
"Interesting story. You'll have to explain to me what exactly "Chaos magic" is though. About Discord though... i know more about your world than you could ever imagine. There is a... quite disturbing source of information about your world. Disturbing at least for you, and i'd like to tell you all about it when you wake up."
Dennis listened to his diet and was relieved that his tastes didn't differ much from what he had. It was also a nice chance to fry some potatoes... he loved them.
"Yea got potatoes i could fry some up with olive oil, could make some tomato, cucumber, cheese salad with some olives. You'll love it really it's a national dish here really famous. We call it "Village Salad". Unfortunately i got no mushrooms... i do have some mushroom sauce though but i use it with pasta mostly. Would you like some chicken eggs? As for the coffee i think we're going to get along juuuust fine. I drink the same kind."
As he finished he exited the room and got quickly to work. There was no time to lose!
"If you're wondering how i could easily host a stranger here it's because of the legendary Greek hospitality! Anyone who comes to a Greek home will always go away smiling!"
@@Hypn0ticD, @@Windbreaker,
"Acting" riiiiight. Whatever flied by him. Like if she cared about what he thought about her behavior. She was what she was... there was no easy way changing that. She herself had hoped to turn the clock back... to warn her past self but... she knew that there was no easy way for this to happen. It was however relaxing at time to think that this was possible... Even delusions have their uses.
She was surprised... both pleasantly and unpleasantly... For one that meant the obnoxious paranoid fear, the pathetic heroic speeches about how "YOU KILLED MY FATHER!", the even more futile ravings about how "I WILL END YOUR KIND FOR THE GLORY OF EQUESTRIA!" She didn't speak, she didn't react to that. However she was finally free from trying to convince them of her identity being supernatural.
"I didn't choose this outfit... i didn't choose for us to get here, i didn't choose anything... if i had my way in this, this wouldn't happen. Believe me when i tell you... i mean you no harm so long as you do not harm me either. Nothing more... nothing less."
She was curious however, what was this brony? How the hell did he know about Equestria anyways? Brony? Bro-pony? She thought about it for a while... this made sense... it was some argo word for brother ponies? What would they have to do with it?
"You'll have to tell me more about how you know about Equestria, and that brony thing... because it's certainly intriguing."
At the offer of directing her in her anatomy she attempted a gesture of kindness she placed her palm upon her heart and slightly bent forward.
"Thanks Shawn it's appreciated. As for the feeding... i promise i'll warn you before i do it. However if i don't get it frequently nasty things are going to happen, none of which i have control upon. Hmmm... i wonder what a Devourer of your species would look like. Not pretty i suppose. Oh well." she said shrugging. The thought of becoming a Devourer was a nightmare for all changelings. She had to resist it, and if she had to feed she would do it at all costs. Shawn would be thankful if he knew the alternative to not feeding. She fazed out for a bit...
She was called... by the doctor. Whatever... she followed shrugging and eager to get this over with. She surrendered to the competent hands of these doctors. Well... as competent as these apes could be that is. Not like she knew.
@@Gloomfury, Clare smiled at Shamrock. She liked both men and women, and tho she had sworn off serious romances for her travels, felt it was nice to have a simple flirtation now and then. Of course, she didn't know whether Shamrock was meaning anything, so Clare wasn't going to say or do anything to rock the boat.
"Yes, I love pink," Clare replied, grinning. "Weird really; when I was a kid, I hated anything girly. I used to go to parties dressed in a t-shirt and shorts, cuz my mum soon gave up trying to make me wear frilly dresses. But now, I like pink and dresses. Weird how that happens, sometimes."
Clare went to her blog, entitled "The Girl Who Wanted To Be God" after a Manic Street Preachers song and quickly uploaded the selfie she'd just taken of herself and Shamrock. She added underneath it, "Here is me, still in the same town, but guess what? I met an actual Equestrian! Her name's Shamrock, and she's super cool! Anyone else meet a real live Equestrian? @@00Pony, @@Miss Reaper,
True to the princess's word, Applejack found walking as a biped to be surprisingly easy to get used to! Well, that was one thing down, but now what?? How do they get their hooves back?
Human Being… that rang no bells for Applejack. In all of her years of knowing Twilight, in all of the surprise study sessions, lectures, pop quizzes and trips to the old castle for the quest for knowledge, she never once heard her so much as whisper a word about 'Human Beings'. That alone gave the now former cowpony a bit of a cold feeling. Add to that, the biped mentioned something about being in a 'United States, Colorado Springs, Colorado.'
Applejack looked down to the fleshy, clawlike appendages that replaced her hooves. She curled and uncurled a few of the digits before looking over to her friend, then to the creature before them. Just why were she and Twi turned into whatever he was?? Were any of the others in bodies like these, and were they here in this here 'Colorado Springs, Colorado?'
She then looked up to the street light just behind the other human, listening to it buzz softly as they talked. From what she could make out, it seemed to be taller than any of the lights she'd seen in Manehattan, and though it seemed to have one very yellowed light, it was every bit as bright as the metropolitan lights…
Applejack looked down the strange street, as something moved in the distance. She wasn't sure what it was, but it had white lights on one side, and red on the other, and moved extremely fast--faster than anypony she knew could move! Just what in the Hay was that?! And why didn't she hear any galloping?
Applejack then turned her attention to the building Bowen emerged from. Again, it looked to be something anypony would find in a big city like Manehattan, yet there was just something… off about it! AJ couldn't put her hoof on it just then, however. It was as it was so… plain and dull! Not that she was turning into Rarity or anything!
Twilight had just asked the human were this strange land was in relation to Ponyville… adding her question to everything she had just seen, and that cold feeling came back to hit Applejack full force. She hadn't seen much, but it made the whole place seem that much more alien to her. She reached up and placed a claw-like appendage on her shoulder. She leaned in and whispered, "Twi? Ah don't think we're even on Equus no more… "
((Gonna let you describe Bowen's apartment building, 00... don't really know what it looks like!))
"Calm down!" What was with this mare? "I've not kidding, alright! Just cool your jets!" Why was his story so hard to believe? The nagain he was in a new land where nothing he knew was. "Please calm down, ma'am. I've only told you the truth so far. I don't know what else to tell you" He gave a concerned frown toward her. How would he prove anything? "Actually, I know. @@Firehearted, @,
This guy was just downright infuriating now! He staight up admitted he couldn't prove anything, yet backpedals and says he can preen his nonexistent wings?! He only topped himself by adding the insinuation she was now kidnapping him! "What…?" She growled. "I take you in so can call your friends and have a place for them pick you up, but you insist on being a jackass!!"
In one fluid motion, she stepped forward, grabbed the supposed Pegasus by the arm, and forcefully led him to the door. "If you wanna be a douche, go do it with someone else! GET OUT!!" With that, she opened the door, and threw Atlas out.
She slammed the door behind her, locking it before storming back to the living room. Never in her life had she met such a troll!
She stewed in her frustration, until she heard her phone vibrate. Where did she put it again?? After a bit of searching, she found it on the couch. Huh? A message from Cat??
>>You'll never believe this. A pony and a changeling from My Little Pony are here in this universe.. And in my house. The changeling's already shown me her shapeshifting ability, and might I say I look gorgeous. XP Anyway, now I have to explain how I know about them... Wish me luck.<<
Colette raised an eyebrow. "You too, huh??"
>>I don't watch the show, remember?? But anyhow, I just ran into a guy who claimed he was a Pegasus. I tried to get him to prove it, but he just told me that I might've kidnapped 'im out, so I threw his ass out! Sorry Cat, but I'm not gonna believe that story like you did! I need proof, and this dude failed to deliver!
Dunno why anyone would pull a stunt like that with me, but you're a billionaire's daughter. For all you know, they could be trying to smooches offa you!<<
Atlas stood at the porch in a bit of shock. He hadn't expected her to blow a fuse like that. He had accused her of kidnapping though... Ah, well. He'd find a fellow Equestrian sooner or later. With that he walked off the porch still not perfect on this new legs but enough not to fall flat on his face every other step.
"This is all so weird" He thought aloud. He walked a couple doors down and stopped to look around. His eye instantly caught sight of a strange carriage. With a couple steps he was in front of it. Or at least what looked like the front. Where did the ponies hook up? Looked pretty heavy too. Probably for an Earth Pony. He walked around it once getting its full look. It had some storage space in the back like a wagon. Pretty tall too. Large rubber tires. He gave them an experimental kick testing how solid it was. That looked like the door.
His first attempt was a failure. He had more-or-less punched the handle. The second try was just as bad. Couldn't he move these? He bent his fingers a bit. Huh. Neat! He tried again at the handle. Okay. His fingers were on it. Now all he had to do was pull... Okay... It was locked. Predictable.
Moving on he spied a tall pole. It was a cold grey color. It remembered him of the candle laps of Canterlot except taller and with more light. Weird...
Out of a small habit he had gotten recently he began to fiddle with his hooves, er... hands rather, making a small tuft of cloud. With his new fingers he began to spin it. He looked at the micro cloud he had made. Even it looked different. Instead of swirls of white it was grey and boring. Atlas frowned at it. What was with this place?
He walked down the sidewalk still making the cloud bigger with the moisture int he air around him. Maybe she wasn't crazy... This place was very different. What? A carriage went by. There was no pony driving it in front! First crazy mares and now runaway carriages. Atlas spun on his heel chasing after it. It had taken him a couple seconds to get up to the speed with it.
"What the hell?!" The driver shouted from the window. He checked his speedometer.
"Need help in there?" Atlas asked into the open window.
"Nah, but how the hell are you going so fast?"
"What do you mean?"
"I'm going thirty miles an hour!"
I've gone faster. What's his deal? "Can you steer that thing?"
"Well yeah! More importantly you're going thirty miles an hour on foot and don't seem to notice"
He can steer that? What?
"If you say so" Atlas stopped letting the car keep going. The driver turned down another street trying to convince himself he'd just imagined that.
With a huh Atlas walked back down the sidewalk. Somehow he'd kept his little cloud ball. It was about the size of a softball now. He shivered. Not having fur wasn't fine. Didn't he have a jacket? Oh yeah. It was with the crazy lady... With a sigh he began to walk back toward the house.
Maybe she wasn't that crazy. This place was different... Very different. He was a different species... But he could still make clouds! It couldn't be that different. He arrived back at Colette's house.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Hey! I kinda left my jacket!" Atlas shouted into the house still idly playing with the cloud ball now the size of an ostrich egg.
Aegis Dare - Portland, Oregon
@@Hypn0ticD,
@,
It was lucky that the nurse came for Chryssie/Miri/whatever-her-name-was, because Aegis was getting ready to deck her. And making Aegis that angry was quite a feat, given how laid-back he usually was. He scarfed down the last of the chips, waiting until the weird lady was gone before speaking again. His very being was still telling him that that woman was trouble. Big trouble. But there wasn’t much he could do about it right now.
Then a terrifying thought entered his head. What if he never got home? What if he was trapped in this new world for the rest of his life? He hadn’t considered the possibility that he would never return to Equestria until now, and the thought scared him. More than anything else had ever scared him. Before he knew it, frightened tears started rolling down his cheeks and he started curling up into a ball again, clutching his knees close to his chest. The thoughts he’d contained started to run rampant in his head.
“What am I gonna do?” He said out loud, mostly to himself, before descending into his terrified crying.
