Oh dang, nice catch. Gil is the currency in Final Fantasy Games, so it is money, just not the right world for it. xD I'll get it fixed.

 

Though, if I Did spell it Gill with two L's, then it's actually fish related... Which isn't much better really.

The vendor chase could be an issue considering that currently there's a Night Guard following Crescent, and if he saw the vendor give chase he would find a place to detain him. If you want a chase done, it would have to be after the whole deal is settled and he takes off, though he would reappear eventually and haul the vendor away in that case. Unless you have other methods of handling the vendor that is.

 

I ain't saying it can't happen, just telling what would essentially happen if the timing ain't right.

To me it seems as though the vendor and Crescent have come to a verbal agreement, in this case the Night Guard wouldn't have much authority to arrest him as Crescent has already agreed to his terms. If Crescent refuses to pay any more or created some sort of issue the vendor may be somewhat justified in his chase and detaining him could have legal repercussions for both Stargazer and Crescent.

I do have multiple plans for dealing with the vendor depending on how events turn out.

True, it will depend on how the interaction between them goes really. Though, if the vendor does try to be a stiff about it, Stargazer would have the legal right as this would be a dispute between a customer that had paid for a product that turned out to have hidden fees or the like. Just like what certain cell phone companies do, which is also illegal.

 

But we shall see how it goes.

The fact that the vendor doesn't seem interested in pressing charges for property damage should also be taken into account, as a legal battle could be more costly and create more of a hassle for both parties, settling out of court can save a great deal of time and bits. There are many different ways this could go and I have some ideas for some of the possible outcomes. Another idea was to have Crescent replace the stand personally, in which case he could have to work out a deal with Seamore for the wood. This is just one of my ideas though, just take the story whichever way you think it should go, I will be able to work with it.

I know I posted something a bit soon, but I saw an opportunity and decided to take it, moving events into position to allow more characters to interact. Basically trying to open things up a bit.

In case you wanted to know for Briar's senses, the wood is a mixture of oak and hard maple as they are slow burning woods that burn hot. The fire is started using pine branches however because it is easier to ignite. The wood has been properly aged.

Well this can get pretty confusing if everyone is typing at the same time. You'll get out of order events and stories that might conflict with each other. At least two other people were typing while I was, because posts appeared before and after mine shortly after I posted it. Lol!

Well I tend to run into the problem where nobody posts during the day my time and I wake up to 40 notifications. Wasn't much better when I worked nights either for that matter so I'm really confused at this point.

I might mix up names from time to time, if I do, don't write it off as a typo unless it's a name for a character Seamore hasn't met yet. Seamore is bad with names. He also has ADD like I do, so he might occasionally notice things before anyone else because he's not totally focused on the conversation. Other times he'll be so focused on what he's doing that he'll have no idea what is going on around him. Also, he might need ponies to repeat themselves from time to time, although I won't do that very often as it slows down the story, but these moments will be when he is noticing other things, wether it's important or not.

Also, I'm guessing it's late afternoon in the story, possibly close to sunset, but I would like a clearer idea of the time as this could be important.

I consider time fluent in this RP, and not set in much stone, so to go towards an evening scenario now makes some sense. A lot have been wandering around for a while after all.

 

Now then, if you will excuse me, I need to catch up to things.

 

Oh, and while I remember it, seen it come up a few times so I will clarify: Last Stand have two eyes, but only one of them (the right one) is open. There goes a scar over the eyelid and surrounding tissue of the left one, and she only opens that when it's really dark (light sensitive).

where's the main party hub in ponyville? its from there it'll kind of snake way through ponyville and end up in the Forrest where the tree fell down I'm putting this out if anypony wants to throw themselves into the chase or just provided funny commentary on it all. I'm putting this out as I'm trying not to override anyone's timing

I have no idea whatsoever. I learn a few things here and there from the Wiki, but I don't watch the show so not sure where everything is.

 

Also, you might want to know, your tagging isn't working. Just writing that doesn't do it, but you can see some examples I have posted here in the OOC further up (or the page before this) that can help you.

Sugarcube Corner is often used for parties. As far as tags go, I figured it out by quoting someone else who was using them to see how it was written out.

I will be working late most nights, from 1:30 to 10:30PM EST. I will try to post in the morning although I might need to keep it fairly short. I don't work Wednesdays or Saturdays, so I'll be more active on those days

Also, I'm going to make sure I mention my character's name in most of my posts to make it easier to track who's who and make it easier for new people to join. I had to go back several pages for names and descriptions, although the OC links in some signatures helped

thanks for the tagging bit gusse im still learning anyways I gusse itll be at suger cube corner were things will start off. me being half nocturnal (closing at mcds or doing overnights) im generly on in the evenings anyways so im not going to be expecting instant reply's from reading every ones posts on here with the time bit down.

The idea I had for dealing with the vendor is kind of out the window because of certain events, including but not limited to the fact that I thought he would be chasing your character. Although, the tree that Seamore cut down is stills lying there, you may be able to use that to your advantage. As far as the tags thing goes, if you ever need to figure out how some of the scripting works, you can use that quoting trick to see it typed out in full, copy-paste doesn't work for that though.

Since the group will be fighting a large creature, it might not be a good idea to have the young fillies go along though. Too bad hasn't been posting anything though, there is even something that Kevin would be interested in as well. Seamore won't be fighting the creature, he'll be too busy doing something else while the others distract it, killing it would be a bonus but the real mission is what Seamore will be working on. I'd rather reveal the details within the story.

keep going with your monster idea then if my charter runs into the group im thinking he'll be too tired to adventure along from after this chase bit. As for the vendor chasing cresent... kind of whish I thought of that before hand lol ill let you know when the chase is done with cresent joing in the quest to keep things simple for everypony involved

Briar will follow Priestess to there more than likely, and as for Blitz, well... She Did want to show Dax some of her own dynamite, so could be they would wander along to her usual explosion range soon and get distracted. Blitz would be curious at least, and in such a case, armed.

 

I'll think about it until I get home. Ain't good posting on the phone for the thread since I need my colors, but won't be long. A few hours perhaps.
