I hope you're okay with the idea of the first attempt failing. I have a plan for what I want Charlie's form to be, but it involves trial and error for the characters to come to the conclusion they need to come to for this idea to even be considered. If the final outcome requires that Charlie agree to do more favors, that's fine. We can even create a bit more adventure with finding some more materials for what I have planned.

I hadn't planned for that, no, but I have an idea on How it could fail. The core of life that I had planned, could turn out to be inefficient to support life in the body. Creation magic or not, it would only make the body usable, not viable for Charlie to settle in, at which point Vivid would likely put him into a temporary vessel for the time being whilst they find out what route to take. And if it's the general form of things, then remember that the Creation set in Is made by an impulsive Chaos magician. I suspect that any interaction he would have in things like this would be prone to make Some sort of mutation happen.

 

It would be a pity if the parts weren't used really, but if you think more akin to the Changeling body not even being part of the final outcome, I will figure something out when it is.

I have an idea for why it wouldn't work and it has nothing to do with faulty parts, it's something that fits perfectly into my own personal head cannon. We can just proceed as though it's going to work up until the point where I say what goes wrong. I just wanted to be sure you were okay with that part of the story taking a bit longer. I also just got a new idea, a new OC, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, just don't do too much damage to the changeling body when we 'clean up.' I was thinking the core of life could be salvaged, as well as the cube of transformative magic, we would just need additional materials.

Fair enough. I'll trust you to make it believeable. Be advised though: The body gets made first. After that, if it works, Vivid will sew him into it. So the mistake would have to happen before she have a chance to attach his soul. Just as a heads up. ^^

Well, my plans require that Vivid do everything correctly, so there is no 'mistake'. The problem won't be with the body, but with Charlie himself, so the timing will have to be when he is put into the body, which will also set up my other plan for a new OC. I assure you, this will all be believable. Well, maybe the new OC thing may be a little hard to believe, but that really depends on wether Charlie will be put into this body in the Dream Realm (perhaps using the portals, which weren't part of this plan originally but could work well for this), or in the real world.

 

I have come up with some rules in my headcannon which are a strong influence on what I write. The part with the portals was mostly done to get the rather large cart to an otherwise unreachable castle, Charlie getting pulled to the stick was one of my headcannon rules (at first I was just going to have the other Everspirits pulled in, then I realized the stick going through Priestess was already confirmed to be a piece of Charlie).

It will have to be in the real world. As you have proven so far, she have no influence over his soul in the dream world, as that is his afterlife and the boundaries set by the Reapers (my part added in later) means that she have to have his soul in the real world. In essence, we'd need to get him back in a portal where she can see him and have him posses an amulet or other container. I can work from there on out.

 

As for the stitching going badly, I presume it can happen. She is not used to work on a soul that have already passed on, and something could muck up there. Let's see how things goes and then work from there on out.

Remember, I said NO mistakes. The problem has nothing to do with what Vivid does. Also, my reason is something else that has already been established in the story.

 

On a side note, I will post later, having Charlie choose a "pre-made" option, I just want to leave the description of the changeling out for now. Trust me, I have my reasons.

Very well. And not saying that the stitching will be the mistake. What I Am saying is that she is a nearly 2000 years old soul specialist. it would take something special for somepony of her expertise to not complete what she have started, no matter the circumstances. I consider Charlie's unusual situation to be something that is special like that, so that it can potentially explain things when we reach that point, even though she follows the correct steppes and attempts to force things.

 

It's a minor explanation for things more than anything that defines it, so no worries. You still have the reigns on what will happen, I am just covering potential questions that might arise later without having it be something that interferes with things.

 

But eh, if it doesn't go with this, I have no real issues with it. I was taught RP by fire. Meaning that I had to adapt to things on the run. This will be just another of those situations if things comes to that.

SImple: I don't need him to create the body. That will be there. I will need him to create life from the core brought along, and to weave the magic of the cube into the body. I figure it's a thing that he can be guided to handle with little issue since he seem to have creation down well from some of your other posts. It is a specific degree of focus and direction that is to be made, so he will need some tutoring in this stable, permanent creation, but he seems capable. How long the directions will take and how detailed it needs to be depends on you.

 

No worries though, he will have a test run before the body.. On Briar to be exact, so there is room to learn. : (Yes, i actively expect side effects to happen, so no worries there. You are after all, a being of Chaos. :3 )

i want to join!!!! my oc is summer breeze, she is 16 years old and she is a light blue Pegasus with light pink manes. she is a little bit shy in the beginning but once you'll get to know her she is a cheerfull, happy, helpfull and sometimes hyperactive pony. her special talent is to make al kinds of wind, but she especialy loves to make soft warm breezes that blow flowers out of the trees. she lives on the edge of the everfree forest, a fiew minutes away from ponyville. she also is claustrofobic because her over protective dad used to lock her in when she was a little filly. but now she lives alone and is happy.

We have a few settings going on, but since you're at the edge of the Everfree, you could join up with Blitz and Cynthia perhaps? They're set in one of the outer parts of Ponyville currently. Though, they are there at dusk.

 

All the current settings are basically at night. If you want a setting of your own, it would have to be there, or during the next day. It isn't a problem though, no worries, and I am sure I can find somepony to speak with her if you want your own gig in this.

You can more or less start randomly. The story in the forest is going ona nd have some momentum, but there is not really a restriction on where you can start and then we can see how things go. There's no 100 page linear story.

 

The issue with waiting though, is that more than likely it could be weeks, or even months before we move over into morning as so many things happen at the current night and there is little sign that they'll all just spontaneously fall asleep.

It seems that Seamore is the only one who can't see inside Missklang's shield. I assume that Syo can see because she is a cat, and the rest have been established as having night vision of one kind or another. Just thought that was worth mentioning.

I have an idea to try with it changing color but its just an experiment also @@Missklang, can cresent hear the attackers blood through said shiled? if not ill edit it as such but I thought I should check just to be safe

You Could technically play it off as Shaman's heart rate shifting a bit if it was, since it seem like the granola bar headshot rattled her a little, but it is as Seamore mentioned, not an attack yet. Unless you count the savage attack on Syo's tail and Last's dignity. ^^
