Please don't have your characters ask about the specifics with the spider until Briar is present. My explanation is designed to intrigue him as well.

Also, there will be a mention of a certain YouTuber, bonus points to the first one who gets it.

I need to know, has Briar met Discord yet? I'm not planning on having them meet or anything but this detail may be important to what I have in mind. Discord will not be mentioned in it though. Also, if you're okay with it, Seamore will have met a Snaproot before but has no idea the one he met was actually a slave. This is part of a business transaction, selling wood to Briar's kind through a Snaproot that was sent out into the "dangerous world" in order to obtain it.

I tend to sneak up on people unintentionally and since Seamore is my Ponysona, it makes sense that he would do the same. People are often startled when I start talking to them because they usually don't know I'm there. Funny thing is, I'm usually wearing bright neon with reflective stripes when this happens.

Although I wouldn't expect Crescent to be starled due to the adrenaline.

Another thing, if somepony asks to see the logging permit, they will notice that it allows for two or three logs (depending on how many end up going on this mission). This is a fact that Seamore will have missed due to his lack of focus.

Join ASAP if you want her to hear the info about the spider, Briar is on his way and after he gets there my character will explain. Also, I could see your character might care about saving the local wildlife, so I will have Seamore talk about the impact this Diamond-Spider has.

I would like to continue on describing the spider, if you're okay with writing briar in as having overheard it when he arrives. It's important that he hears what Seamore knows about the spider. I will wait for a response before writing that in though, in case you want him to arrive beforehand.

FYI, I'm not dead, just not feeling very good for some reason. looks like I still haven't missed the spider part though so I just need to do catch up reading. I'll try to figure out where Angel's at in a bit.

 

 

Ok. I'm totally lost. Did someone else already clear up the mysterious pony Dusk was supposed to be looking at or not?

I don't know where your character is going, I haven't mentioned any farms in my part of the story. The campfire is in the Everfree Forest. I'm going to need to know if you are planning on having Syo join the group at the campfire or somewhere on their travels.

Briar have not met Discord yet, no. It was only two days ago RP time Briar first heard of him in enough details to be hopeful he can help him.

And the spider part with overhearing can work. His hearing is rather good, so it's likely to flow in the air if it is. I imagine though, that Priestess will hear it close since she's a dang quick one.

As for your other idea, I don't mind, but a few pointers you might wanna keep in mind:
1. Evergrown are all around the world, and varies from tribe to tribe. No looks are set in stone, so you can be creative if you want.
2. Snaproots are mutations that can occur in any tribe, and varied tribes have varied ways to see them. Jungle tribes holds them as slaves, others might revere them, or there could be some tribes made entirely of them. It's flexible, so you can make it fit easy if you chose others than the far south jungle ones.
3. If you do go with them though, keep in mind that the owner would follow. They might not like interacting with outsiders unless they have to, but since the Snaproots for them becomes little more than mindless drones except in a select few cases, they need oversight for things like business transactions.
4. Remember, all Snaproots are recognised only because they all have sharp teeth and no eyes Beyond that, you'd be hard pressed to find two that looked alike.

I think that covers it, but write again if it doesn't.

She can still notice Vivid Loss to be honest. I don't believe in "1 saw it, now the magic is done/that's reserved". If you ant her to see Vivid, go right ahead and there's no problem. Also, no need to have Dusk written out unless you really want to. Not everything will move at monster speeds as is since I will need to start working more from tomorrow, which in turn likely means 1 combo-response to everypony from me as is.

I will keep that in mind, from Seamore's perspective he will not actually see the Snaproot's master but he will be there. I'm thinking about doing this as a flashback when Seamore sees Briar, recognizing him as one of the Evergrown, maybe not as a Snaproot though.

Dusk doesn't need to be written out, she's just sitting by a fire so she doesn't have to do all that much right now. If you want to write her out to make it easier on you, that's up to you. I think you've been doing fine keeping up though, there's just a lot going on to bring the party together.

Well I'm not too sure what do with her right now quite honestly. Just everyone posts when I'm sleeping so it's causing me serious problems. Like I said I have no idea what's going on right now. I won't write her out but I'm not going to post for her either until things get to a good point for me to jump back in. Writing 1500 character catch up posts isn't very fun.

Don't worry too much about "catching up," not much time has actually passed in the roleplay since the last time she spoke. All that's really happening is a bunch of ponies are showing up, and Seamore was talking about the mission.

All the other stuff is what was happening at the same time, events are just converging into one location and the transition has been a little lengthy.
