It would be nice, admittedly. The last time we saw her in her pony form was in the first Equestria Girls movie, and she was in her villain phase in that one.

Always need more p ony Sunset! Always.

We got to see her as a pony for like a minute, and that was in the first movie, as someone alreay brought up

We need more pny Sunny in the movies, so in turn, more pony Sunny can pop up in the toylines, and on my shelf.

So between my frantic bouts of writing a thesis, I've been giving some thought to @@Mooncake's question. Why is Sunset such perfection.

 

And as I originally said, that is not such an easy question to answer. I mean really why do we consider her "Best Human", "Best Pony" or "Best Unicorn". 

 

Speaking for myself, I like the way her storylines are written(yes, Equestria Girls has plotholes big enough to get the Death Star through), I also like her design and my favorite scene is when, in the Friendship Games she explodes in anger and YELLS at Sci-Twi. it brings back "Old" Sunset Shimmer, the fiery Unicorn.

 

Compared to the other "redeemed villains", it's her, Luna and Discord that still work for their redemption.

But none the less, when it comes down to it, we each like Sunset for our own reasons, whether she is

 

a Unicorn

a Human

 

a Alicorn

 

Sunset Satan

 

Daydream Shimmer

 

or any other non-pony/non-human we see. In the end, she is still Sunset Shimmer and that makes her "Best"

I agree, and like all her forms - excpt for demon Shimmer, because I dislike demonic stuff in sweet, innocent pony. Or in gneral, pretty much. But she has so many forms, like Goku, which makes her pretty cool, and a good character that has a good bit of development behind it.

 

I just hate that she's still getting shafted by Humane5 in merchandise. And that the question of her doppelganger remains unanswered. Or that he still ha ben allowed to go back to FiM, which further kills potential of any more pony Sunset (animated AND merch)

Kina wish they would touch on Flash and Sunny's past relationshiop since Twilight won't give him the time of day

 

She may have been using him, but surely there were feelings from someone, while they were together....

 

Flash may be a flat chara but it really bugs me that he hasn't really spoken to Sunny all this time, except when he was under Siren spell, and he only insulted her, then...

Sunset Shimmer, Amateur SCIENCE! Researcher

Every Saturday I run a Courage is Magic RPG(Ponies using D&D4e rules) for my nieces and their friends. I do this because they are too young for my regular Thursday Night games, also my regular group aren't fans. 

 

What does this have to do with Sunset Shimmer, well sit down and let me tell you. While I reference the show, I tend to keep show characters out of the main storyline(this is about THEIR characters, not the shows). However, I gave them the option of interacting with 1 show character, and they chose this Unicorn, by unanimous vote.
