Who knows, but apparently a lot of fans would like to see that happen. Their fates have been left hanging in the balance and fanfiction cannot satisfy the curiosity.

The Sirens' comic focused on the days leading up to their banishment from Equestria. It never mentioned anything regarding an aftermath so their fates still remain unknown.

 

As fo what Sunset wrote... I don't know but then perhaps we shouldn't know.

I didn't even know there was a Sirens comic. Huh, interesting. 

 

As for Sunset's journal entry, I agree there are some things fans should leave to the imagination.
