Well, I think her character design is good, I just meant I don't have feelings for a character on a show. Like, on this site, Rarity and AJ are the powerhouse fanbases. However, on other sites, it could be RD and Fluttershy or Twilight and Pinkie Pie. I think it would be cool if she was the favorite pony, but at least among bronies she seems to be the least relatable character. I don't know how the intended demographic feels about her though. Rarity & Applejack fans are probably less in number but usually very vocal, and are most likely still much higher in people's favorite lists than background characters, whose fans tend to vary. And then there's Luna... she's gonna either be in higher regard for most people or not really on their list. I don't really mean to generalize, but this is all just what I typically observe. Shanks 10,816 October 4, 2014 Share October 4, 2014 Rarity has seen a significant increase in popularity since season 4 but is still not the most popular pony though I have noticed that her fans have also become more and more outspoken which is why the Rarity Fanclub thread is so active around here. The most popular pony seems to switch back and forth from Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. For background ponies Derpy is the obvious fan favorite though Lyra takes a fairly close second with other names like Octavia and Vinyl Scratch also being notable. Coco before Pommel 678 October 7, 2014 Share October 7, 2014 My all time favourite is Fluttershy, but I adore Rarity too (second best pony!) and it's awesome to see lots of ponies appreciating her! it's interesting how different ponies seem more popular on different sites, I guess it just depends what appeals to you in a character...but I agree that the fandom is so big and varied that it's probably really difficult to tell who really has the biggest fanbase.
