Ah, Magic pre-releases. My ex was really into Yugioh and we'd do the pre-releases for that. I thought the Magic cards were prettier but he said we couldn't afford two card hobbies and I didn't want to play alone so I never got into it. I probably never will.

Yeah, they're definitely spendy! I've been collecting for ~12 years now, but only recently started playing at shops. Magic is the original that inspired Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards, but it's still the strongest of them (with the best art, artists, and gameplay!) It's not as enjoyable to do alone, that is for certain!

It was my ex that ruined it for me. He seemed to care more about his damn cards than he did about me sometimes. He kind of ruined it for me.

I still collect my Pokemon cards, but I left all of my cards behind when I left. He was nice enough to send back my original binder of pokemon cards, but none of my new ones. He also sent my MLP cards, but I don't have anyone to play with now. I'll probably teach my daughter how to play in a few years, or my older niece when she comes to visit.

Yeah...I don't have a S.O. so, that hasn't been a problem. I go and play when I have nothing else going on, like a reliable backup plan at any time. Oh well, priorities shift when life changes, so it's good that you're able to refocus on what's really important (your daughter) and let simple hobbies take a back seat.

I miss having time for hobbies... My daughter is still too little to teach how to draw or any other hobbies... she'd try to eat crayons or paint. I can't wait until she's a little older. I'm already planning my craft room when my brother moves out.

I think I'm gonna do some experimental ponies. I saw this one earlier and REALLY love the coloring. So~~~~ I'm gonna open up shop again and take on a couple of requests. Even if I've drawn a pony for you before in the past, you're still eligible. You can even request a pony I've drawn - it doesn't have to be a new one.

Since you have a white pony and he is quite plain - which isn't a bad thing... but, if I color it in the new experimental style it might come out looking grey due to the shading technique. So here's what I can offer... would you like your pony drawn in the MLP style I've been doing (and you know that the results will be quality), or would you like to be the first guinea pig for the experimental style (which could come out either very good or very bad)? Your choice.

As a musician (which I believe qualifies as a type of artistry) I want you to do with it whatever you truly feel like doing. Have fun, go crazy! Awesome! and I play piano, drums, and I also produce/DJ. I mainly do electronic music as well as experimental classical stuff...basically whatever it is I'm feeling, that's what I'm writing XD
