I would drop down in deep depression since this is my only outlet in the internet and all the friends that I've made here would be for nothing all that hard work worthless everything GONE !

 

I would probably slowly recover and maybe some time later stumble in another forum and just idle there. For a while but if it wasn't as nice as this place I probably wouldn't stay :|

Welp, I'd be disappointed that we'd never had the chance to reach a million in the CTAM game, for the most part. I mainly come here to talk to people, and we've already created accounts on ither websites, so it wouldn't be a very big deal of the forums were down.

to be completely honest it would not effect me that greatly I only come here to kill time and post my opinion and I get bored really quickly which is why I'm only online early in the morning and late at night (or when no on Xbox Live is online, like now)

 

if it were to shut down then I would most likely go to my Xbox and play video games with my friends, watch more YouTube videos, maybe even resurrect my YouTube channel

MLP Forums = The only place I'm comfortable with sharing my interests/experiences and generally being social on (while I tend to shy away [quite literally] from direct social contact, i.e. profile comments or PMs, I still like to post in threads from time to time).

 

Take it away, and I'll probably be as socially inactive as ever. Sure I might continue to lurk around other sites, but I don't think I'll ever be as comfortable with being active on them, as I am here. So yeah, I'd be rather sad if MLPF was shut down.

Fortunately, most of my friends here have accounts on other sites as well (deviantart, skype, etc) so I would just go there to talk with them.

Sadly, I can answer that question because something JUST LIKE THAT has actually happened to me! 

 

Back in 2005, my favorite cartoon was the Powerpuff Girls and I was a very active member in a forum called PPG World.  It had all the things I've come to love about MLPF including great friends, lively discussions, and plenty of drama.  That drama included some nitwits and members getting banned which I didn't love but I would be remiss if I didn't mention it anyway.  Anyway, just as I reached 1,000 posts in that forum, I went on one day to discover that the domain was "available".  What the frick? 

 

I figured at first it was a temporary glitch or lapse or something.  Well, it turned out that the site had only one owner/admin and there was no redundancy for the site if he were to leave which is what happened.  PPGW never functioned again.  After that, I started an account on Deviantart and was able to reach most of my friends through that.  But without the daily banter focused on one unified site, it wasn't possible to recapture the same magic.  I still consider myself a PPG fan but between the discontinuance of the series and the end of my favorite online forum I began to drift away from the PPG fandom.  :/

 

Hopefully I won't have to go through that again with My Little Pony.  -_-
