Rarity's edible boots

One thing I don't understand, though.  Human boots are shaped the way they are to let our feet go into the front half.  Pony hooves aren't exactly round, but they aren't shaped ANYTHING like that.  So, why do their boots look like human boots?

You shouldn't really worry about them too much from a dietary perspective. They are not supposed to form a major part of your food intake. They're just emergency edible boots.

 

Her everyday edible boots are much better for your health. They're calorie-controlled.

Oh, that Rarity and her hoof fetish. Remember, we also had a scene of her actually kissing Princess Celestia's hooves. It was pointed out to me recently, that Celestia rather nervously looks over at the bed while Rarity is kissing! Go look at it, it's true! Here's the scene!

 

This actually could be plausible. She does kiss Celestia's royal hoof quite a few times. 

 

Just because I haven't seen it in this thread yet...

I lost my shit when I saw this image. Namely because I honestly could see that happen. Not to sound sexist, but she would be one of those types that would benefit on doing something like that when she freaks out.

This is actually one of my favorite one liners of the series to date and agrees with those who say the innuendos of the line was made purposefully in an off nod to those who would understand it and done in a way to get past the sensors in an innocent looking way.

 

Rarity is good at comming up with quick excuses when cornered on a subject as seen in several episodes and that was the believable and logical excuse used when the situation called for it.

 

Rarity is such a sly pony, I knew I loved her for some reason

Of course, there is only 1 activity that needs edible boots.  Dinner.  Nothing humorous about that, & R was just making a joke when she suggested Celestia wear them next time R kissed her hooves (as in "Sweet & Elite")

My guess it was an ad libbed line from the voice actress that they tossed in anyways. Just Claire Corlett being a silly filly.
