web Problem with this stupid ProicELess extension.

Not sure if this is in right section. Hopefully it is. Anyways, I'm having a serious problem here with an extension on my Google Chrome that seems virtually impossible to delete. I tried researching this issue online but I found nothing.

 

And speaking of the devil, this is the extension that I have been dealing with for the past week. It causes spam and annoying (as well as disturbing) ads to appear on sites like YouTube and even this forum. I just removed it from Chrome for the billionth time, but it keeps coming back from the dead!!! 

 

 

If anyone knows how to do away with this nuisance, please be kind as to inform me ... immediately. I'm getting really tired of its shit here  :okiedokielokie:

 

Also, what in Celestia's name is this? 

 

 

 

Thankfully I didn't click anything. But I'm just wondering if this has anything to do with the forums? Maybe it's a bug directly derived from the site? I honestly have no idea.

This should do the trick. It looks like something a little different, but the general process for removing the crap is probably the same.

Have you tried running a scan on an antivirus? Because with an extension name like that, that can't be legit. And basically just do what  said.

Well I tried scanning it, and while Malwarebytes was able to find three threats which I quarantined, none of them where related to this stupid ProicELess extension. Apparently extensions are immune to scans

 

 

I also tried to find it on regedit.exe but I couldn't see it anywhere. I typed in the exact ID and everything but it couldn't find the registry key!

 

God dammit  -_-

 

I could not find it under chrome://policy either ...

 

 

I guess I'll try the last resort listed and restore everything.
