The cold began to get to his nose. "AA...AAA....AACHOO!" Crystal squeezed, then blinked. Then broke into a huge large screams of pain. "OWWW! WHAT DID I DO ODD OF A SUDDEN?" He whined "WAS SOMBRA HERE? DID WE HAVE A HUGE BATTLE?!" Crystal began asking more questions, completely clueless. "EEP! I SWEAR I JUST THOUGHT ABOUT RETURNING FOR A BIT I SWEAR!" He felt to the ground, covering his head in guilt. "BUT I SWEAR YOU DIDNT HAVE TO GO ALL OUT AND ATTACK ME! AND ERASE MY MEMORY! AND YOU EVEN DECIDED TO BREAK ME OUT OF THE CHAINS TO DO IT!" He whined more, and could barely take the pain from his wounds.

Chronos could here the screaming, he wasn't moved 'Scream all you want, it won't help a bit'  He thought looking at Princess Celestia "I recommend you return to your quarters for now, we will handle Crystal" He said. He looked at a scratch on the chest plate of his armor, barely a millimeter deep. 'next time Crystal, don't bring daggers' He thought.

Crystal began to cry. "JUST WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?!" He sobbed in pain. Of course this was no act, it was pure honesty, Crystal didn't remember anything before he squeezed. He shuttered in both fear and pain, feeling completely helpless under the glares the ponies around him were giving him. He just didn't know what happened.

[Midnight_Aurora 571]

Midnight says, "This place is part of my power, Crystal. You had snapped And attacked Lady Celestia while in that state. This prison is designed to use the darkness to hold darkness. I think a talk with Celestia will be good for you. Shall we?"

 

Midnight grabs his hoof and pulls the prison falling away. Only a Black crystal ring remains. Midnight says, "This ring should keep that darkness at bay for now. Lady Celestia, he is yours."

Steel growled he had simply been feeding on the dark energies In the room his whole body smoking now he had a wide toothed grin on his face "you ponies are foolish" he said but it wasn't his voice "do you really think that what's happening will stop whatever is inside that pomy is like me using its host as protection"

Grell looks over a still and flash stepped behind him his hoof glowing with emence power "seal of the forbidden lord" grell almost yelled as he slammed his hoof into steels back

Steel growled for a second the collapsed his body stopped smoking and he went back to normal expect for a pentagram on steels back

Midnight growled. "I do not buy his act!" she growled, barong her teeth at him. "That pony is a lying, coniving jerk. He almost hurt Princess Celestia!" She pointed her blade at him as it began go glow. "I ought to just kill him right here..."

 

Celestia blinked, noticing Crystal. She looked away. "If he wishes to return home, he is no friend of ours. I have no words to say to him," she stated, her voice cold. Anypony could see how hurt she was that he decided to just go back home after everything they went through trying to keep him safe.

 

Luna bolted to where the commotion was, gasping. She then noticed how cold her usually caring sister was. -What in the hay happened here...?-

 

Lunar noticed the dark aura fade, but got up. She walked out of her room and down to where the presence previously was.

Midnight A. let a long sad sigh leave her mouth. "Crystal may have a state that is similar to Night Flare's. When he panics, that shadow who possess him tends to take control and if memory serves he didn't remember what happened. I feel Crystal needs our help now more then ever. What ever spell Sombra put on that book, it may have done this to him. please Lady Celestia, he needs help now more then ever and him going back is not going to do it."

 

Night walks up sleepily, a shadow beside him, "She is right. He has a darkness within him that will try to control him when he us in a very bad state. Only you and mother can remove that darkness."

Crystal blinked completely confused. "Ohhh that... my identity disorder....." He muttered. Finally understanding. "Whenever I squeeze or have too much of one emotion, my personality switches to another one, the one who most likely... uh... did whatever happened here, that may explain why Sombra wants me so much... not my normal personality- but the other one." He broke into thinking, trying to remember something or anything. "I think my other personality and Sombra were in some sort of... whatever. But utter than that, I don't know anything about my other personality besides when I return from the blackness I'm normally surrounded by dead bodies of innocent ponies...."

Midnight scoffed. "Yeah, you're ignorance almost cost Princess Celestia's life, you little tyrant!" she snapped, still pointing her blade at him.

 

Celestia looked down at him. "This...thing inside of you almost killed us all. He was happy about it. And if you had told us about this before hand, we could have prevented this," she stated, her words still cold.

Midnight looks to him, "He couldn't be similar to a possessed Chimaera, could he? Because what you describe is the same as what happened to Night Flare, before he was able to control the shadow within."

 

Night Flare asks, "This place of blackness, is it like your floating in nothing, Crystal?"

Chronos looked at Midnight Aurora "I do not trust him here, but I don't believe he should be sent back to the empire... Sombra could use him, and that would make our job even harder then it already is" He looked at Princess Celestia "Your majesty... does this castle still have a dungeon?" He asked. "It may seem harsh but it is best for the safety of the mission and everypony here... He could have killed anyone of us" He said.

Grell looked at him " not to mention it caused the demon inside Steel to gain more power your lucky I was here it he'd be going on a killing spree" grell said

Steel lay there unconscious

Hemoe looked around at everypony" so I'm just going to sit over here" hemoe said as he sat down and watched everypony namely midnight aurora

Leif lay under the tree -such violence and anger-he thought his raven cawed -maybe I'll get the chance to catch and tame a windigo-

"D-D-Dungeon?! Please no! That's basically slavoury all over again!" Crystal whined, in much pain and fear as it is. "P-Please! It's not my fault... It's basically when I was send to a torture alyssum and was being forced to not change." He shuttered "Not good memories..."

Midnight Aurora holds him comfertingly. She asks, "Mother Luna maybe you can help. You read that book as well, correct?"

 

Night Flare goes over to him and places himself between Chronos and Crystal. "Are you Insaine Chronos? Think about what your saying. If he shifts let myself and Aurora contain him. he has been through to much to be either sent away or placed in confinement. I know what he is going through because I went through it back when I was first possessed by the shadow within. He just needs help to face his darker self."

Chronos thought "I guess you are right, You could probably help him if what you say is the truth, ... but It is not my decision, it is the Princesses' decision. I just want to make sure he doesn't harm anypony, I especially don't want him hurting the princesses " He said. He then looked at Princess Celestia and Luna "It is your decision"  He said.

Midnight growled. "I say just kill the little tyrant. He isn't worth your time..." She continued to have her blade pointed at him; she wouldn't be fooled anymore.

 

Celestia looked down at Crystal, then at Midnight Aurora. "As long as you can contain him, do with him as you wish. But, one more incident like this and he'll be gone. For good." And with that, she walked off.

 

Luna sighed. -Sister, you are too kind-hearted...- She looked at Crystal. "You will not deceive us again. Trust is not an easy thing to gain back from our dearest sister." She then looked at Midnight Aurora. "Do as our sister said. Keep him under STRICT watch."

 

Lunar noticed Hemoe. "What happened here?" she asked, unaware Hemoe has emotions now.

Night Flare says, "we will. He is a valuable ally and we will keep him from the enemy. Aurora's Dark Crystal Ring should keep the darkness in a weakened state."

 

Aurora says, "We will do our best mother. We feel he just needs a good friend." Aurora holds Crystal for a bit longer trying to comfort and calm him down.

"If he even makes a single act of aggression towards anypony else... I will break his legs, and I am not bluffing." He said before walking back to Celestia's side. He was not happy, not because he had turned against them but because he could have seriously harmed Princess Celestia. He looked at Princess Celestia "Would you like me to escort you to your quarters? you probably want some rest after a long day."

Celestia sighed. She looked down at Chronos with a sad smile. "If I go to my room, will you stay by my side? I don't want to be alone..." she asked. This war was definitely putting a strain on her. She had dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep, and her once magnificently white coat was dull in color. She looked drained and ready to give up.

"Yes, your majesty I will stay by your side. I will not leave you alone" He said, smiling at her. He didn't like that she looked so drained. He removed his helmet and held out his foreleg to escort her. She needed rest and he knew it, he could also go for some sleep too.

Hemoe shrugged "I'm not really sure I wasn't paying attention" hemoe said he looked over at steel "aren't you in relations with him" hemoe asks

Grell sighed "relax midnight they have him" grell said "if it comes to it let me execut him no matter his power I can kill him" grell said

Steel lay on the floor out cold the pentagram on his body not fading

Midnight glared at Crystal, putting her blade away. "One false move and you're dead, you brat." She walked off, fuming.

 

Lunar blinked, looking over at Steel. She gasped. "Wh-what happened?!" she cried, racing over to him.

 

Celestia smiled, taking his hoof and walking to her room.

Grell looked down at her "oh you noticed well simply put his curse happened it got to strong he's fine I had to seal the power inside him" grell said "try to keep him away from dark stuff like that" grell said then followed midnight

Hemoe watched then walked over to midnight aurora

Chronos smiled and walked with her. As they walked he said "I apologize for some of the things said today, such as suggest to knock Crystal out cold or put him in the dungeon. I know I must have seemed either cruel and/or a brute, but I hope you can see why I said those things now."

Celestia nodded. "It's alright. I knew you had a reason for what you said. All you're trying to do is look out for me. I appreciate it..." She stopped at her door, smiling. "It's because of that dedication and loyalty that you were the only fit for my personal guard..."

 

Lunar teared up. "I'll protect you from now on... You don't have to struggle so much anymore..." she whispered, putting him on her back.

 

Midnight sighed, walking into her room.
