Lunar looked at Steel, a slight blush on her cheeks. She wanted to talk to him, but she had no idea what to say. -Just say something... Anything to get a conversation started...- she thought. She noticed the flex, blushing more. "Y-you're really muscular, Steel..." she mused, shyly smiling.

Steel nodded "I would hope so I had to be doing my work is rather strenuous" steel said taking note of her blush and the shy smile -bad idea lunar- steel thought -don't get attached to any pony that you plan to go to war with Anypony could die- "I assume you are strong yourself "

Lunar shrugged. "I don't really consider myself assassin worthy, but I guess I am pretty decent considering my build," she saidm stretching out her wings. Now that he could see her body, it was practically perfect; she had just enough muscle to make herself not look scrawny, but still had enough mareness to be quite attractive. Her flank and hind legs were definitely toned and strong, her forelegs slender yet built, too.

"Alright, this plan I can stand behind... But one thing, what will keep them from thinking we are escaped slaves and putting us in chains before we can get the guard uniforms." He pointed out "Also, Luna, You and Celestia, I know your magic is strong but Even if you crystallize yourselves, you will still stick out like sore hooves..." He said "Also from what I have been told, almost all their guards are stallions...  so how are the mares, going to sneak in." He continued to point out all the holes in the plan.

Steel looked her over not hiding it at all "I'd say youd make a fine assassin with the right training" steel said looking her over again then he heard chronos "your information is flawed he has mares in his guard and they can change their form with some strong magic as for slaves they are marked " steel said

Tsuki noticing that Midnight had jumped. He looked over to her, and walked over closer to her. "Everything will be fine." Tsuki said to add some comfort, and lightly nuzzled her. Looking up at the table, he made a quick response, "Valuable Point, how would the mares get in?"

"I guess my information may be a little outdated, but I just wanted to make sure... I don't want to risk making my son an orphan just because a couple 'small' flaws in the plan..." He said, looking at Steel and then looked at Lunar, shaking his head. 'Save the flirting for after the battle, to make sure he is alive...' He thought

Luna sighed, looking at him. "I am no fool, Chronos. With Celestia, Lunar and my own magic, we can easily disguise everypony to look like normal stallion guards if he does have only stallions. Once we take down all the guards, it will be pointless to camoflauge ourselves anymore, so we will drop the spell then. Our magic put together can last weeks, so running out of stamina is no issue either." The air suddenly got thicker, the room slightly darker. "Do not take me for a fool, Chronos Dial." The statement seemed harmless, but everypony could tell she was getting angered.

 

Lunar blinked, blushing a little. She then noticed Luna, getting worried.

 

Celestia shot Chronos a quick "stop while you're ahead" look, feeling the shift in air.

 

Midnight could feel the anger, her ears still flat against her head. She was shaking slightly. She had only seen Luna's anger once, and it was not something she wished to relive.

Steel felt the change and so did the thing within him his dark aura spiked again and steels eyes got flakes of red In them "Luna you should calm down" steel said gritting his teeth "it could Be dangerous " steel sat and began muttering something lunar could hear it and she couldn't tell what language it was

Chronos took Celestia's advice and took off his helmet, the only thing he said was "Your majesty, I never took you as a fool." He spoke in a respectful tone, but on the inside he was enrage 'You don't know what it is like to be in my situation... She is lucky that as a Knight of the Equestria, I have an oath to never disrespect the monarch out right...' He thought before putting back on his helmet.

Luna took a deep breath, sighing. "It infuriates me when everypony is arguing and pointing out flaws in every single plan some pony throws out. We do not have time to sit here and bicker over plans. He gets stronger by the minute." The air and room slowly lightened back up.

 

Lunar sighed in relief, glad she calmed down.

 

Celestia gave Chronos an apologetic smile. "I am sorry for the anger I know my sister has caused you. She gets flustered a bit to easily. She knows not of the struggles of having little ones to protect," she said to him, knowing what he thought.

 

Midnight was still shaking behind Tsuki and scared.

Tsuki lowered his head slightly. "Now that we have a plan, when do we put it in action? or are we just going to stay in here for the whole day?" he kept his tone smooth, even though he was wary of Luna. His gut feeling told him not to share his thoughts of possible problems of the plan, even though Tsuki thought it was best to point them out. However, he didn't want to waste any more time.

Steel kept mumbling with a slightly trembling hoof he pulled out a bundle of plants and lit them on fire and blew it out so it was just burning at the ends with embers he let it burn as he sat there mumbling trying to stop what was happening to himmm

"I should apologize, I infuriated her by pointing out flaws even though my information was outdated. I shouldn't have continued to nitpick..." He said before looking at Luna "I am sorry your majesty, I shouldn't have doubted you..." He said before looking at Steel 'what is going on with him' he thought

Luna blinked, looking at Steel. She knew everything about this pony, so she knew exactly what was going on. She looked at Celestia, who nodded. She then sent thoughts to Lunar, telling her what to do.

 

Lunar blinks, nodding. "We'll be right back," she said, taking Steel quickly out of the room and down the hall into a room a few doors down.

 

Celestia sighed, looking back at everypony. "So, we have a plan finally. We will depart in the morning. Everypony will be escorted by a royal guard member to their houses so they can grab whatever they need. Then, we will meet back here and stay here for the night. Plan on getting up as soon as the sun rises. We have a long trip ahead of us. Dinner will be in the main dinning hall in two hours. Be back by then." With that, she stood up and headed for the door.

 

Midnight looked up a little from behind Tsuki, her ears still flat. She blushed, noticing how close she was to him. "I-I'm sorry!" she apologized, quickly scooting away a little. "I-I didn't mean to crowd you..."

Steel was only simi-aware of what was going on it was all he could do to keep this thing inside him at bay he was fighting it tooth and nail trying to force it down so that nothing bad happens to anypony he was with he didn't want to cause anyponys untimely death without being paid

Lunar quickly used her magic to help calm him. Whereas her magic was not as strong as Luna or Celestia's, she wanted to help him any way she could. She quickly mimicked the words he was speaking, saying them with him as her magic helped force down the evil thing she could feel within him.

Steel began to clam down with the help of lunar after a few minutes he was better he put out the bundle and looked at lunar " thanks but don't do that again it could have hurt you possibly even killed you " steel said "let's go back " steel said walking to the door

Lunar stopped him. "I don't care if it hurt me or not... And I don't even care what 'it' is inside you... All that matters is that I truly care about you and I want you to stay alive..." She blushed a little. "I know it's wrong for me to feel like this towards a commrad so easily and early, but...I can't help it..." She looked up at him, her ears a little low. She knew she probably seemed so desperate right now.

Steel nodded "I understand but I do not approve you don't want to be with a stallion like me my life is meant to be lived alone" steel said -no matter how much I want otherwise- steel thought "just be careful don't take any risks because of me it'll only get you hurt "

Lunar shook her head, looking at him. "Every pony deserves somepony..." There was a genuine care in her eyes and voice. "No pony deserves a life of solitude and loneliness. It doesn't matter if your a mass murderer or you have some kind of evil being inside you. Sometimes you need some pony to have and hold to give you even more strength than you thought you had..." She gave him a small smile, her ears still a little low.

Steel smiled "it's a nice thought but I doubt it's true if you knew the truth you'd run I'm surprised celestial hasn't had me taken to the dungeon or worse" steel said that's what he had expected to happen after the fight with sombra he figured he had a few days of free life left

Lunar looked at him. "Luna told me everything about you... How do think I knew how to calm you so quickly...?" she admited, her eyes still soft and caring. She walked up to him. "And I haven't ran away yet, now have I...?" she whispered into his ear. "Actually, it has only made me what you more..." And with that, she walked out of the room, leaving him in there

Steel was a little surprised but followed her out -foolish mare you'll understand if you ever see the true power and darkness that sleeps within me- steel thought -the only ponies truly understand what's going on with me are my ancestors for generations this has happened to the head of my family and I'm no exception-

Lunar stretched out her wings, watching everypony file out of the war room. "What's going on?" she asked Luna, her wings still outstretched.

 

Luna looked at Steel, then her. "We are letting the troops, with a royal guard escort, go to their houses before dinner and grab whatever they need before we depart in the morning."

 

Celestia came out after her, looking at Steel. She took a sign of relief, seeing he was back to normal. She did not what it coming out just yet. She just wished there was some way to let Steel realize he needs Lunar more than he realizes.

 

Midnight waited for Tsuki. "S-since I'm part of th-the royal guard, c-can I escort you...?" she asked.
