What is the worst canon pony design?

Why make the elegant, classy Rarity hideous looking? It's an absolute outrage.

I think they made her this *shudder* way because they wanted to show how insultd RD felt she was steeling her spotlight.

Glory glory lack of specificity, I get to post this again. The absolute most horrendous simply unfabulous Pony design is actually a design appearance of a Mane Six character who is my Best Pony for now and all time.

Pls spoiler tag that image if you ever feel compelled to post the butterfly abomination again Jeric. Nothing except maybe baby ponies will ever stand a chance at stacking up against these horrors . Or so one would hope.

Also, I don't like any of the baby ponies in general. Pumpkin Cake, Pound Cake, Baby Applejack, none of 'em. Always looked creepy to me. *shudders* Those eyes...

I don't find Snips and Snails all that bad. I think they look rather cute in an ugly way, like two pugs. They kind of remind me of Beavis and Butthead in terms of design, misshaped, but still tolerable to the eye.

Nope, Hulk Fluttershy is not as ugly as Butterfly Rarity imo, it is just such an atrocity, especially since it is associated with Rarity

I think Snips is super cute. I love his pudgy little face, I just want to squoosh it!

 

My vote for worst design is Luna before they gave her back her starlight mane. I think it's because she looked so badass as Nightmare Moon that her "good" self seemed pitiful in comparison. Not to mention that haircut. It's cute, and might look good on someone like Cheerilee, but it's not fitting for a princess as uncompromisingly regal as Luna. And her coat colour was too light.
