@@SilentFlight, The Kaiser sat in the captain's chair of the Nightingale sipping from a mug of warm tea, thankful that it's small dosage of caffeine would get him through the day. He thought it funny that he was basically the captain even though their were two others assigned to the ship. He had the authority as head of state, and was somewhat trained in the area, so it wasn't as though he was really unqualified for the task. He took pleasure knowing that he could not only lead his people but these men as well confidently. He knew not of any of Abendstern's previous leaders that had played such an active roll in the military since it was divided into several kingdoms. Even then, they didn't do so unless it meant the kingdom would soon fall. Not like he'd lead from the front of partake in any formal conflicts now, but still, there was pride for his efforts. He gave the order for the tinted shades to be pulled down over the thick windows of the bridge. He was glad to have the ship designed to be fully enclosed. Little short of direct cannon fire could deliver great damage, and there were very far and few that met the range needed, let alone could be aimed above the minimum needed forty five degree angles. The shades were down, and he watched as the sun rose in this foreign land. As soon as it had fully risen, he finished his tea, and made sure his uniform and crowned helmet were properly adjusted. He wanted to look his best for when the Pegasi arrived which he expected to be any minute now that the airships stuck out like a soar hoof. He traversed to the back of the ship in to the hanger, where the currently not needed part of the crew were sat at a long wooden table with benches on either side and a chair on either end, with only the back half occupied. He took the head seat facing the rear hatch doors and waited in silence with the others.

As for your request for grain, you'll have to have your government or your businesses get in touch with our wheat farmers, but the Government of Impalarana will not interfere in the process and will notify some of our biggest wheat producers."

Following the explosion and failure to make contact with the airships owners. The discovery of armament on the wreckage has raised suspicion in the War Council and it was decided that further measures should be taken if ponies handling flying warships exist and may be hostile. By royal decree, the navy was to be increased and waters are to be defended. Although not technically under Ponssian rule, without any information of nations existing southwards; patrolling activity was increased. Frigates, sloops and occasional Ship-of-the-Lines now constantly keep watch and sail the southern (northern for you) waters.

We understand that it is abnormal to ask for the privilege to use your air and sea space for military use, but recent foreign activity to ours has led us to believe that there is a possible threat just over the horizon. Protecting ourselves from those who would mean us harm is within the best interests of our nations, and so we propose that we intertwine our navies into a blockade so that all means of attack via an indirect route by sea may not successfully be exercised. "Your majesty, we studied the burned fabric of the cloth that was covering the ship. We have discovered large amounts of burned hydrogen."

"Good, i will want you to help our builders on a replica. You are dismissed." The king raised his hoof, the pony bowed and left the room. The king turned to his council,

"How is the plan for our flying warship going on?"

He was mildly surprised at the fact that she was a she, and would open up with just having come from something so somber, rather than simply say she was held up. It took confidence to be so straight forward, and he liked that. But he questioned the legitimacy of her uniform. She was rather young for a leader, and very much so for a General. The chances of achieving the rank not out of entitlement a such an age seemed far to bleak, but time would tell, he thought. He clopped a hoof on the table twice, and his men quickly cleared their food and detached and moved their half of the table to provide space for the leaders, while letting the Pegasi soldiers able to continue to eat if they were permitted to do so. Once this was done, two glasses and a bottle of Domaine de la Romanee were placed down by the Guard, and they stood at attention in a row of lines behind the Kaiser, who motioned to a chair opposite to his before opening the bottle. "Please, have a seat. This was given to me as a gift some years ago for my inauguration to the throne by the wealthiest pony in our nation. I was actually a little embarrassed. There are few events worthy of such an expensive bottle. The fact that we have any that costs a few years of a hard worker's pay is beyond me. But none the less, I've heard it's a good whine. It's color of Pitch dark Red, gives off a near black sheen, that seems to go on forever and ever, never permitting light to travel through it. I'm not sure whether it's naturally produced like that or not, but on multiple occasions where I and others have drank our fair share, it has captivated us. Several times I've been asked where to get it but I never looked into it. Strange how a whine can be luring yet make the viewer feel unworthy of having even a meager sip, all while gathering dust and haunting a lone shelf. But now it is time to see whether it is worthy of our pallets in it's aged state. He poured and spun it in the glass, taking a deep breath of it with his eyes closed and allowing a small smile to form.
