Do you think Sting ruined his legacy by joining WWE?

I think he ruined it LOONG before that when he joined TNA.

However, his Joker impression was laughable and just felt like he was trying desperately to stay relevant in the fans eyes, in my opinion.

WCW Sting, TNA Sting and Joker Sting owned WWE lackluster Sting.

 

People have been trying to change my opinion about Sting's WWE run.

 

Trying to get me to think positive about it but it will take something really good for me to change it.

WWE didn't really help Sting much in any way to me except to introduce him to a new generation of fans.

 

Unfortunately, Vince McMahon used Sting as a way to further bury WCW by having Triple H defeat him at WrestleMania.

 

Then, Sting was in a match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions where Rollins injured him thus forcing him to retire.

 

But, my opinion shouldn't matter because much like with The Undertaker, I've never really cared for Sting all that much.

Sting should've been treated better.

 

WM31 against Triple H was one of the worst matches ever, IMO.

 

He was buried against Seth Rollins too, he looked so weak.

I'm sorry they treated him so badly they made you change your opinion of him.

 

I kinda felt the same way when Trish Stratus came back for that WrestleMania 27 match, I know it's not the same thing but, I just felt like "That's the match she came back for!?"

Why, because he got beat by Triple H? That match meant nothing and Sting said a thousand times already that he was okay with it, considering he got the best paycheck of his career.

 

Do you really think, his legendary matches with guys like Ric Flair, Vader, Hogan, etc. are obsolete now? In that case, you should reconsider everything, because Sting dosen't deserve this kinda hate.

 

Besides, if there was one thing that tainted his career, then his match against Jeff Hardy from Victory Road, because Jeff was of the opinion to let himself get drugged. People paid to see this match and they will laugh about it for the next 100 years.

 

Still, you don't see me complain about Stings career being ruined.
