A lot of people can. Because everyone is written using the same regulated style byt he same writers, everyone now soudns the same. 

 

I think this explains it better than I.

True as well. They go through quite a bot of effort to make sure everyone has different finishers, and by doing such, run out of options for everyone. Probably a good chance that a bunch are assigned.

I wonder why so many wrestlers have been using the spear over the last few years?

 

Whether as a signature move like Charolette or as a finisher like Roman Reigns.

Batista used it. Lashley used it. Big show used it. Edge used it. Charlotte used it. Now Reigns uses it. I mean it works for Reigns. His spear is fourth best. But one wrestlers finisher should not be anorhers signature.

Oh yeah, that was a thing. It probably looked worse. If you're tall and lanky, you probably shouldn't be doing the spear. 

 

Personally I think Reigns superman punch should be his finisher. More out of nowhere and a bit more legit, considering it has ended fights in MMA.

I've been a fan of of both Edge & Christian for a long time and  a fan of Christian as a singles wrestler since the night after

 

WrestleMania 20 when he joined up with Trish Stratus.

 

But, even I can't defend that Spear.

Not sure if I ever have seen Christians spear. But yes, the unprettier/killswitch & the frogs plash were more convincing. Even that bottom out DDT which sued to be a finisher was more convincing then this spear I bet.
