BigBossFoxtrot 34 February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 Steele Heart is a very strong minded alicorn. His biggest weakness is by far his anger. He becomes enraged by injustice and lets his hatred get the best of him. It has costed him dearly a few times in his backstory. Also the unstable nature of his dark magic. It's unnatural, a sentiment left after his encounters with King Sombra. It has caused him a lot of problems.
A goat 323 February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 Well he kinaps and tortures everyone that isn't a goat using his giant pet serpant, he then enslaves the ones he sees fit enough to work for him and feeds the ones he sees unfit to his pet serpant Slorthadon. He is also the last descendant of Grogar, and his bent on fufilling his grandfathers' wish to enslave all non-tambelonians in the world. So yeah, there's that. CC_Maud_Pie 6,431 March 1, 2015 Share March 1, 2015 - Socially awkward - Bad at conversations - Gets jealous at ponies a lot - Thinks about past struggles and failures when on a low - Lack of empathy - Gets stuck in own world - Curses a lot when angry, depressed, or in pain - Revengeful thoughts at ponies who gave him a hard time in the past when on a low All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

Denim&Venöm 19,162 March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 For my OC Silhouette Dusk, it would be her pride, honor, inability to cope with failure, and an inability to compromise. She doesn't want to settle on anything, she wants it all, and will go through the effort to get it all, even if its more costly in the long run. Prime example is when she was offered by Celestia & the other princesses to join them as royalty. But Dusk declined. She's was Empress of Equestria before the royal sisters and northern pony tribes came down, and she see's princess hood as a step down from the right she earned. Rather than accept the position and change things from within, she'll fight against the sisters, expending vast resources in her campaign to negate the royal guard and capture the princesses, risking civil war (or as she sees it, a continuation war). There will be no peaceful coexistence with the sisters. Either they go down for their "crimes" or she and her rebelling subjects will go down fighting. Another reason she did that is her inability to forgive and forget. She truly believes that the sisters are her enemies, that they are actively hiding Equestria's true history and that they are just an invading force that's reshaped the land in their own image. She will sabotage them at every corner, set them up to fail and ruin their credibility, insult them at every opportunity. Celestia and Luna called Dusk a tyrant for oppressing the pony tribes 1000 years ago. Dusk says the pony tribes attempted to invade when her help wasn't enough. But she also thinks that the sisters used the plight of the 3 tribes as an excuse to invade Equestria, dethrone Dusk, and claim the land for themselves. Her stubbornness, vindictiveness and and desire for vengeance stops her from seeing things any other way. Dusk will put everything she has into her drive for success, but when she does fail, she takes it very hard, often failing miserably to cope, blaming herself and letting her emotions get the better of her. When she was challenged by Celestia to a sanctioned duel for her crown, the only thing legitimately tying her and her subjects, the descendants of pre-hearth's warming Equestria, to the throne, she saw it as the chance to knock Celestia off her perch and legitimize herself in the eyes of modern Equestria. Instead, Dusk was defeated, becoming the first ruler of Equestria to have lost their crown in combat. In her eyes, she let her subjects down, she disgraced her position, dishonored the memory of her parents and forebearers, and tarnished what it means to be an Alicorn. In a fit of shame & self loathing, she cut off her own wings and broke off her own horn, seeing herself as no longer worthy of the gift of ascension, spiraling into suicidal depression. So instead of having the power to help her subjects through a traumatic period and adjust to their now succeeded home outside of Equestria, she instead maimed herself, stripped herself of her flight & unicorn magic, and secluded herself to a prison cell, praying for forgiveness in front of a portrait of her parents, and continually & painfully severing any regrowth of her wings and horn, hoping she'll bleed to death, while knowing very well she can't die. And though her own grief, Dusk doesn't even see that such actions only cause despair in those that believe in her, how her court, her subjects & friends want to help & console her and have the country move on, but she only pushes them away, seeing herself as unworthy of love and simply desiring to wallow in her misery. She blamed herself for the fall of her birthplace, the Crystal Empire. She believes she acted too slowly, didn't take Sombra seriously enough. Didn't send enough troops. Didn't intervene herself. Heck, she even blames herself for Sombra being there in the first place. Her actions in stopping Sombra's first attempted coup of Equestria lead to her ascension, but also drove Sombra to seek conquest elsewhere. Because of all that, she became more reclusive, less easygoing, and became more protective and aggressive in dealing with threats to Equestria, which led her to her overuse of force against the invading tribes, her never back down attitude against the sisters, and her single minded determination to punish the sisters and resurrect her Empire. What we have is a leader who's very passionate about her country and heritage, see's being Empress & Alicorn as the ultimate honor, wants to prove herself worthy of the role, and cares deeply about her subjects, whether they be empire loyalists or modern citizens. So it pains her to see somepony else rule her country, ponies that invaded, burned down the capital, imprisoned her in the frozen north, then erased her nations heritage. Every failure and setback in her crusade for liberation drives her over the edge, and she lets her past mistakes continue to haunt her and her hatred and overwhelming need for retribution against this "injustice" drive her.
Solid 1,327 March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 He's not very capable of comprehending things from an emotional perspective. This helped him a lot on the battlefield, not so much in daily life. He also suffers from occasional panic attacks without warning due to his inability to regulate his emotions effectively, and due to some past events. Some fairly common imperfections among soldiers and mercenaries.

Brush Stroke, Gleaming Gem, and Habanero's main weaknesses are weaknesses I have. I hate criticism, I can't handle rejection, and I'm narcissistic. I wouldn't say I'm greedy, though. Self centered and selfish, yes. Greedy, no. Golden Coin is an antagonist. Rarity Fan Club My Ponysona My Drawing of Rarity

RarityFan01 2,444 June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 Then what about forgotten things very easily and can be quite lazy sometimes XD Those are good flaws, but only if they actually impair the character. Being forgetful is impairing, so yeah, those are flaws. If your OC's major flaw is that they're color blind, but they have no reason to need to see color, then that doesn't count. Snow Frostflame 3,568 June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 Snowflake Frostflame is very powerful... mastering in Ice magic and stealth.... he is a professional assassin and inherited the the assassin organization he works for by surviving a contract placed on him and his family and killing three of the four assassins sent after him.... and is currently on Equestria's top 20 most wanted at rank 9 so how could someone like him have any weaknesses? -Mention his sister or family and it will enrage him -Snowflake was born with a body smaller then your average stallion making him physically weaker -Snowflake is afraid of fire from nearly dying by it as a foal... and it being part of the reason his sister is dead -Snowflake can be bribed and hired to do nearly anything -Snowflake has several nightmares about his friends and family dying.... he blames himself for their deaths -Snowflake has few friends.... getting him to trust you is hard -Snowflake is missing an eye.... if it wasn't obvious enough... and a few more I can't think of off the top of my head
GrimGrizz 137 June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 (edited) Some of these things might not be major, but I think they still count. Candy Ember- Basically has a panic attack whenever someone is dis-loyal, due to being exiled from her hive and having to put a lot of trust in someone. Has to look over what she writes, or says, for any grammatical errors. Doesn't like to mess up any metal she's working with. Fully reveals herself with a medium or strong disillusion spell, small disillusion spells make her have to concentrate hard to maintain her form. Shaken Pyre- Protective of her friends and twin. She doesn't like to be challenged. She doesn't really have a power besides making mostly shaken drinks, although very good ones, but the full light of day hinders her ability's, thus the crescent moon on the cap of her shaker cutie mark. Has a bad habit of sneaking out to go for a nightly walk. Has the impulse to lie sometimes. Insecurity's include being truly alone, and the fear of losing her twin or any friends shes made. Stirred Gin- Protective of his friends and twin. Doesn't like trying new things. Like his twin, he doesn't really have a power, unless making excellent stirred drinks counts, again, like his twin, the the full light of day hinders his ability's, thus the star on his stirrer cutie mark. Has a bad habit of pointing out the bad things, while being optimistic. Can't stand criticism and tends to leave the room when someone is doing just that. He's meek, insecure and shy, and gets paralyzed when bullied. He's also a very pooe athlete, not to mention he's very slow due to being a satyr (in my mind, a satyr is an anthro pony, pony legs and face, and not a human-pony hybrid. LHfunk 422 June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 (edited) My OC is called Lightning Flash (thus my username), and his cutiemark is a lightning bolt (not like Dash's). He can fly extremely fast, easily braking the light barrier. His main weakness is that flying at his fastest for too long results in many medical problems. Another one is that he tends to fly fast (not full speed, but still really fast), so he's usually misses his destination, and isn't very good at slowing down to find it easier. Another weakness is that if he loses his focus for an instant when flying really fast, he'll probably smash right into something, whether it's a haystack or a mountain. Those are his non personality based weaknesses. His main personality based weakness is that he tends to be very reckless, usually saying "I'm not THAT bad of a flyer!" And then taking off into whatever insane stunt he's going to try and pull. This has caused many accidents, but he always recovers, because his body works super-fast, because of how fast he can fly. Whenever he is in a bad mood, he tends to be annoying and surly, and there aren't many ways to get him out of this mood. He doesn't cooperate well while like this, and this has made many other accidents happen as well. Those are my OC's weaknesses, and I probably will find more that make sense! I found another one! Lightning is incredibly ticklish, so he can be tickled basically anywhere. It doesn't sound bad, except that some places are so ticklish, barely brushing them triggers a response from Lightning. These are the back of his neck, shoulder area, stains he, and his wings. If I realize any other weaknesses, I'll return! Solid 1,327 June 17, 2015 Share June 17, 2015 Scorpion is an OC originally from the Metal Gear universe, so there will be references to the series. Generally, Scorpion is an introvert, turned even more introvert due to his experience and career. He doesn't talk much, even when he does he speaks few words. Therefore, during his time serving in Militaires Sans Frontieres, many soldiers tended to avoid working with him. Physically, Scorpion is a extremely capable soldier, perhaps one of the best, but definitely not THE best. Though his resilience makes up for it, when facing tough opponents, he often finds himself taking a good beating before either retreating, figuring some way to defeat his opponent, or wearing his opponent out. In human standards, he is formidable. Some claim that he can perhaps rival even Big Boss himself, but from his meager victories and plentiful defeats during his encounters with Big Boss...not necessarily. Besides, all that resilience and competence is obsolete if someone manages to slam a bullet through his head. Psychologically, Scorpion is often too cold and emotionless, while this has proven to be a virtue in most of his time as a mercenary, it has given him some great deal of trouble in life, and sometimes in the war zone as well. He has trouble empathizing with others and and even interpreting his own emotions, something he is struggling to overcome. Due to his inability to acknowledge and digest emotion, it builds up and gradually influences his subconscious. From time to time, his bubble of emotion would pop and he would jerk off from his usual logical self and make some of the most inhumane, irrational, and in rare ocassions, heroic, decisions, another reason why many soldiers avoided working with him during his time in MSF. His alternate personality is perhaps his most dangerous double edge sword. In face of an overwhelming stimulus (physical, emotional, perhaps both), he enters a state similar to combat high. His basic prefrontal judging and decision making functions would still be intact, and active enough for him to focus on the targets and avoid indiscriminate slaughter. However, if some try to stop him, friend or foe, he would remove them out of his way, not minding to break or kill in the process. Last, his state as a human hinders him in face of supernatural beings. He can improve, rival the legendary Big Boss or surpass, but he is limited to the potential of a human. Perhaps that potential is growing, we never know, but for now, Scorpion can't shoot giant laser beams from his forehead whether he had a horn or not, and if he goes up against a fire breathing bullet proof dragon without some kind of heavy firepower support, he's still most likely going to get toast.
