gaming [Poll] - Favorite Super Smash Bros 4 Characters

This thread has been done before, but I wanted to make a poll so we could see which characters were people's favorites.

 

Personally, I love Jigglypuff, Game and Watch, and Bowser, and I would say they're my mains.

Lucina, Robin and Custom Palutena for me.

 

Robin is insanely unique and her magic-based specials are all very useful and interesting to utilize in battle. Arcfire and Elwind in particular are great to keep your enemies far away and get some good damage in. Did I mention that when you land a successful Thoron kill you feel like a complete badass? That's not to mention that, like in the game, her magic allows for some pretty cool strategies and some pretty hilarious kills.

 

Lucina is... really adorable and she's also a ton of fun to play as. She just feels so serene and graceful whenever I play as her. When you land that perfect, flawless, beautiful aerial combo... wooaah. Her speed, grab range, very strong air game and reasonable power makes her a blast to play as.

 

Palutena as a default character is pretty iffy, but boy, her customs are a force to be reckoned with. Celestial Firework is great for enemies that like to get up close and personal and can kill at about 100%-ish, making it a good spam move. Warp is an even better spam move, as you're basically everywhere on the stage at once and can counterattack enemies very easily. Explosive Flame is a good bomb move. That's it. Oh yeah, superspeed is a super sanic move that can set up a ridiculous amount of kills in a second or so. And she has the best taunt in the game (pole dancing) - well, second best. Shulk's feel taunt is champion.

 

...and those are my favorite smash characters. Boy did I write a lot.

I chose: Rosalina & Luma, Diddy Kong, Lucina, Mii Fighter, Mr. Game & Watch, and R.O.B.

 

I'll only talk about a few:

 

Rosalina is my #1 favorite. Her attacks are all pretty good, though some of the customs are even better. The Luma is great for spacing and getting out of tough situations.

 

Diddy Kong has and excellent upair, backair, and downair. His side B is really fun to use. Probably OP.

 

Mr. Game & Watch is just a really fun and quirky character to use. I always use side B in anticipation of a '9'.

 

Lucina has some good aerials, and her upsmash is solid. I like using her side B and neutral B.

Mario, link, pikachu, lucario, greninja, kirby, meta knight, pit, dark pit, fox, falco, shulk, captain falcon, megaman, pacman, sonic, Dr Mario, and mii fighters, but mostly Pokemon characters for me

My main man I use is Shulk. My other favorites are Donkey Kong and Bowser.

My main is Lucina cuz she looks like Erza Scarlet with her red color :3

Then theres Kirby, Pikachu, Charizard, Jigglypuff, and Toon Link.

I am the student leader at my school's Video game club and these characters are the only ones I stand a chance with. 8 player free-for-all is intense.

And I forgot to mention Lucina has the "deal with it" sunglasses taunt. Best taunt hands down XD

Always used to be a Fox guy, but they seem to have nerfed his endurance in a way that makes it really easy to die as him, so now Falco's my preferred veteran fighter.

 

As far as newcomers, Mega Man all the way.

I mostly play as Sonic, Captain Falcon and Lucas. I did main Ness before Lucas got released as DLC, since they're both pretty similar. Still have no idea why he wasn't in the base game, but I'll live with it.

I didn't really ever play Super Smash Bros 4 all of that much. I got bored with it fairly quickly. However, I do remember enjoying playing as Palutena and Lucina, along with characters I've enjoyed in past games - Toon Link, Roy, Marth, etc.

When I played Smash 4, my favorite characters were Yoshi and Ness. I only played a week (after not playing Smash for YEARS) and I was able to DESTROY the second best Ike in San Antonio with Yoshi, and playing Ness is just amusing.

I love PAC-MAN. He's not only my favorite character, but my competitive main too. He's got plenty of combos that do devastating damage, and he's annoying and everyone hates his stupid yellow face. I love it when people complain about PAC-MAN because then I get an advantage and I also get to piss people off just by playing the character I play. There was this one time I played with a streamer who hated PAC-MAN and he banned me because I kept camping lol.

I would include snake but this is Smash 4,not 5 or Brawl

Link deserves to be my #1,he has a great move set,a legendary character and so on. I mop anyone into the floor with Link (if my aunts aren’t him,of course) Link is the perfect balance between speed,power and defense. Though he’s not supposed to jump...

The reason why Samus is my 2nd best is because I’m good with her,plus she’s one of the only good females in the game.Also she doesn’t talk or have annoying voices. Samus can be slow and floaty at times,but she’s got the firepower

Captain Falcon,with perfect timing of the Falcon Punch,it can work miracles. That and he’s a great balance of speed and power 

 

I usually use stock for my characters
