My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie

How did you find MLP Forums?: I found the site from a friend of mine who said it was a great place for meeting and greeting other pony-folks, here's hoping she was right!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: How I became a fan? Oh, I'm not a fan, I just watch every episode over and over, constantly obsess over the character's deep development....crap. I'm a fan,alright. As for how this happened to me, I used to help out at my neighbor's house with her daughter who was always pretty sick and when ever I went over, she asked me to watch the show. At first it was just me doing it to be polite, keep her happy, but over time I felt a bond with each character building up and eventually I loved the show. Now even with she is gone, MLP is still the greatest gift I have ever been given. Thanks, Katie.

So, yeah on a happier note, I'm a brony just like you! But, what is a brony anyways? Well, most say it is a mix of the words bro and pony , but it's cool. They're wrong is all. A brony is a embodiment of awesomeness, each of you. Yes, even you way in the back over there, trying not to be seen. Anywho, I like music, animation, and roleplay. But once in a while I get tired of looking at other people's work and want to try some of my own, though I'm not a particularly great artist. Looking forward to meeting you all!

This is a really cool introduction...I'm still laughing.  It sounds a lot like the way I can sometimes approach the show, and I like Pinkie Pie too.  My favorite line of hers is from "Filli Vanilli" when Rarity says "Pinkie Pie! Don't be Ridiculous!" and Pinkie replies "But I'm so good at it!"
