I'm surprised I never heard of this game before today.   I thought the only MLP Card Game that existed was the CCG,

I looked up a few videos on the game already. It all seems confusing as hell right now. But maybe if I can learn to play it. It'll be a blast to whip out at my next Brony Meetup.

 

Anyone else play or at least heard of this? How do you play?

Also mods if this thread exists somewhere already I'm sorry I searched for it but didn't find anything.

I've heard of it many times and I wish I can get my hands on a deck or be able to print it out. Sadly I don't got the ink and it's a bit expensive for my printer.

One of the game's creators gave my club the game and we've played it a couple of times. It is rather confusing the first time, but once one person knows how to play, teaching others is a breeze. Just make sure to stay within the 2-5 player recommendation-- we played a game with 7 people and it ended on the second turn through the group.

It's a really fun game, I'll tell you that. it was the latest craze at both Bronycon & Ponyville Ciderfest. You can't really take it seriously and you're not supposed to. Not too competitive, but you do have to be creative and a little strategic (AKA sick & perverted). I've got a deck of my own with some new exclusives, and coming this may, the new expansion we'll be out, consisting of the custom OC cards for all the backers (including me). One of the best parts is reading the flavor texts. It's a must to be immersed in it all.

Got to see a few people play at one of the local ponycons and played it once. They did such a good job with the artwork and the card descriptions are hilarious. If you can pick up a deck it's definitely worth it just as a really cool collectible. It really looks very professional. I'm a bit surprised that we don't see more fan made card collectibles tbh.
