Haha, well usually in Canada ours look a decade behind US ones. Still lots of little ones have exposed brickwork inside and kinda cringey wood 70s shopfront trim.

Idk what they're doing now but it seems like when a larger mall here gets redone all the wall and floor tiling starts failing after 2 to 4 years. I mean, the stuff sold in there just gets more cheaply made but why reno when you're just ending up with cheap finish
