I think it can be, but you'll need to put it the right way. I GM real-time role-playing games, and getting players to agree on something can take half an hour plus of arguing - and that's without a communication delay that is at best similar to communicating with mars.

 I think that some guidelines specifically for this role-play concerning how much we can create / invent would come in handy, as well as how best to hold longer discussions.

I find it really interesting that you make your own dice systems. I usually play 1d10 games (Like Deathwatch or Only War) as well as classic d20 style games.

I tend to prefer systems which sum multiple dice to single-die systems that add modifiers, as they give a normal distribution rather than a uniform distribution - as a result of which, players are less certain about the exact result they are going to get but know roughly where it should be. And, being a tabletop Imperial Guard player, I have plenty of d6 dice to go around. I still enjoy the other systems, though, and I steal some things wholesale ("What do you mean, you've seen this chaotic boons table before? Dark Heresy? Never heard of it...")

I am of the opinion to shoot it at this point. It would be a 3 player roleplay and, while Blue can pull it off, it'll be a lot more challenging without pulling the right strings. Whatever Blue Moon decides, thanks for sticking around and having me as your DM, and sorry that I have to go.
