While we know that Starlight Glimmer was just a dictator lying to herself about her beliefs, I believe there's a huge chance she'll most likely reform by the end of season 5 given how forgiveness has been one of the themes of season 5 so far.  She'll most likely have a sympathetic backstory explaining the way she acts the way she acts.
